“Christine took our new puppy while we got married and did an awesome job of caring for her. I would recommend her 10/10 she has a great love for animals and I can’t wait to use her again in the future.”

About: I have been taking care of animals of all kinds for over 10 years! I have been doing it professionally for 5+ years as my full-time gig. I work full-time Monday through Friday, but am not new to early mornings or late night stops. So if it is an early morning run they need or a late night snuggle session, I can make it happen! If you find yourself stuck at work or getting a delayed flight I can help fill in the gaps. Weekends are dang near fair game. Reach out and we can discuss what your and your pets needs are so that a plan can be made to meet everyone's needs! Caring for animals of all kinds, ages, needs, and abilities (including farm animals) is my regular day job so it is also fitting that I do it outside my 9-5. I am comfortable giving oral meds and injections so that your pet gets everything they need while you are working or away. Let me know what helps your pet feel most comfortable and happy and I will make it happen! I am currently working full-time Monday through Friday 9-5 with weeknights/early mornings wide open. Weekends I also have availability to make multiple stops or entertain your pet in my home! If the Rover.com schedule says the holiday(s) is available then I am happy to accommodate them as well! I keep the site up to date almost daily so that you can be sure that your days/holidays are free for me to help! I have a very friendly dog and two lovable cats in my home that love new friends. I am happy to leash walk, crate pets as needed, dispense medications and make adjustments as required. In my home the house is fair game with no "off the couch" rule unless you prefer there to be. I am here to enforce or let slide whatever you are comfortable with! I do not currently have a fenced in yard, but am working on that! I care for pets as if they were my own and boundaries are in place to your specifications! Let's make a plan together.
“This is the second time my little Ellie has stayed with Grace and I swear Ellie lives her best life there!! Grace keeps me updated in how she is doing with pics and texts!! I will definitely being booking with Grace in the future!!”
“Tara is great! She is very kind and easy to communicate with. My dog is a clingy and nervous chihuahua, and he felt very comfortable with Tara. She did a great job making him feel relaxed while sharing pictures with me while I was away. I appreciate her dedication and patience for making my dog, and myself, feel safe, comfortable, and relaxed while I was out of town. Thank you Tara!”

About: Hi! I’m Allie, and I’d love to be your pet’s new favorite sitter! 🐾 I know how hard it can be to leave your pets with someone else, so my goal is to make that experience as easy and stress-free as possible. I’m dependable, attentive, and genuinely love animals. Your pets will get plenty of love, attention, playtime, and care while you’re away. I’ll treat your pets like they’re my own and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I’m also happy to follow your pet’s normal routine, including feeding schedules, walks, medications, special instructions, and plenty of cuddles. ❤️ Communication is important to me, so you can expect regular updates and photos while your pet is in my care. I want you to be able to relax knowing they’re being well taken care of. Whether your pet needs a quick walk, a midday check-in, or someone to keep them company while you’re away, I’d be happy to help! I’m self-employed and work primarily from home, which gives me a very flexible schedule and allows me to give pets plenty of attention throughout the day. I’m able to work my schedule around walks, potty breaks, feeding times, and playtime, rather than leaving pets alone for long periods. I love having animals around while I work, and I’m happy to provide the companionship and care they need throughout the day! Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, I focus on making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I follow each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, potty breaks, medications, playtime, and any special instructions. I’m respectful of your home and your pet’s space, and I take the time to get to know each pet’s personality and individual needs. I’ll also provide regular updates and photos so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is happy and well cared for while you’re away. 🐾❤️
“Kelly took such great care of my pup, Raleigh. She spent just over a week with Kelly and her dog Oscar. Kelly sent photos and video updates as the week went on. I wouldn't hesitate to book a stay with Kelly, and I know Raleigh can't wait to stay with them again!”

“Kaitlyn welcomed my dog as her own in her home. I received pictures and updates throughout the stay so I never had to worry. I appreciated how flexible Kaitlyn was with pickup and drop off times. Would recommend!”

About: I currently have 2 dogs + 4 cats! I love them and care for them like they are my babies. I always make sure I keep them stimulated and happy to ensure a healthy and loving life. I would love to care for and love your animals like my own! I am working per-diem starting in october. My schedule is changing but if you just reach out i'd be happy to share that with you! I am super flexible and can help you with anything! My dogs are very dog friendly and loving to almost all other dogs. They are very socialized to other dogs and cats. I can walk your dog, let them out, or you can drop them off at my house for daycare or meet me to exchange them as well! If your dog isn't dog friendly I would be happy to keep them separate and comfortable! I have a fence for the dogs to run around and play. I also have ties outs for the dogs as well. We live in a wooded neighborhood on a dirt road that is super quiet!
About: I have experience caring for a wide range of animals—cats, dogs, gerbils, guinea pigs, ferrets, reptiles, and more! Skilled in adolescent/senior animal care and quick to adapt when facing challenges. I commute to college on Mondays and Wednesdays, with classes ending around noon, so I can be available after. I’m free all other days and encourage you to inquire about last-minute or same-day appointments! When caring for pets in others’ homes, I follow all provided guidelines to a T, ensuring extra care and attention afterward—whether through cuddling, pets, or playtime. In my own home, I offer a spacious environment with no other pets (besides caged ferrets in my room), a large front yard for play, and a fenced-in backyard for safe outdoor fun. Your pets will always receive loving, personalized care in a safe and comfortable space!
About: I have 2 dogs and 2 cats of my own that I care for daily. I also care for my friends pets often and am excited to meet your pets and provide them the best care that they deserve. I am available all day on weekends and in the evenings every day. Some week days I am available more often. I am also available for overnights stays. I have a fenced in yard so would be able to have your pets in my home with no concern of them running off or anything like that. If I am caring for your pets in your home I will treat your home like my own, providing the best care.
“Excellent sitter. Elvis is sleeping all day, typical when a dog had a great time while being boarded. Kept up to date with pictures, which was nice. Will definitely use Kora again. Anyone in the area should use Kora.”

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, daily exercise may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Dyberry home-away-from-home, packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Dyberry.
<b>Tip:</b> You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your Dyberry sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the , which provides up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in PA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
