About: I've had my own pets since 1991. I had a rabbit and dog in college and have learned over the decades how to best care for our friends. I've just retired from a busy career, so I know how important it is to find someone to care for your animals when you're away; even if it's just the gym or happy hour after work. I've fostered for several area rescues and know folks have a different idea of appropriate care. I only use fear free methods, because our animals need to know they can trust us. I've had young high energy dogs who need play and long walks and I've cared for my dogs in their last years when they needed additional care or special medical needs including pills, dressings, eye drops and carrying older dogs who aren't as mobile anymore. I would love to get to know your pets and help you give them the best life. I'm currently retired and searching for part time employment. I don't mind early or late night visits since our dogs don't have a 9 to 5 schedule. I do have an active social and volunteering schedule but it's flexible enough to accommodate your needs. I have cared for many dogs who need to be crated or who are door dashers and escape artists. I have a calm energy that helps put pets at ease. I'm a fan of high value treats to make the crate a special place. My personal dogs are crate trained but I know that's not for everyone.

I had to stop due to lack of funds but this is a prefect way to help dogs again! About: I don’t currently have a fur baby of my own so I am looking to care for others’ furry family members. I will love, pamper and care for them as I would my own..... I am looking for long-term relationships, however I would be happy to fill in on a short-term, temporary basis as well. I have a fenced in yard and live close to many parks.
