“Ralinda was truly amazing! Caring, very communicative, responsive on short notices and was very detailed in every way. Her detailed description after every visit gave me lots of comfort. The best thing is she plays and treated my cats like it was her own. I highly recommend Ralinda!🤗”
“Bonnie did a great job taking care of Remi. She was reliable, attentive, and made sure everything was handled just as we asked. It gave us real peace of mind knowing Remi was in good hands. We would definitely trust her again and appreciate the care she provided.”

“I contacted Emily pretty last minute she was very accommodating and was able to drop in and care for my three monsters. This was my first time using the service so of course I was nervous, she was great really allowed us to relax and enjoy our time knowing our babies were being well cared for. I will definitely use her again and definitely recommend her if you are looking for a reliable sitter. 🐾🐕🦺🦮🐶”

“We are so glad that we found Kayla. Our fur boys love her and she takes extremely great care of them and always follows up with detailed info on her visits and pictures of our boys.”

About: I have experience as a boarding captain at a veterinary hospital. I made sure every pet there was happy and healthy so I will make sure yours are as well! I have flexible schedule so I will always be open to any day or night. Just think of me as being on-call. Let me know if when you need me and I’ll do my best to accommodate. While you’re away, I can send you daily photos of your pets. If they need to be fed or walked on a schedule I can definitely accommodate that. I have experience administering medications for pets as well.
“Stephanie was great and gave us updates for each day we were out of town. She also was willing to stop by to meet our dog first to make sure she was a good fit before we left as our dog doesn’t always do well with new people”

“My boys adore Crystal! We've booked twice with her and they are really comfortable with her. Since we're new to this part of FL, it's nice to have someone reliable for the dogs.”

About: I have helped to take care of my moms 4 big dogs and two cats for 3 years and I own two cats that I have taken care of for 3 years. I have a full time job Tuesday-Thursday, I am available Friday-Monday all day, I can work with any type of dog or cat within those days. I own two cats at my house, one is a senior and the other is only 2 years, I don't have much of a busy schedule.

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was little, I even started washing dogs for my neighbors when I was 13. I have been around dogs since I was little and just got a cat. I love animals and meeting new types of dogs and cats! I work part time during the day but I have plenty of free time during the week and on weekends. I have very good time management and I am able to work around my schedule. I take in to account what the environment is when I care for pets such as if there is fenced yard or near a busy road.
“Shawnee is wonderful! Knowing she was taking care of our cat while we were away gave us peace of mind and seeing her updates and photos made our trip so much smoother. We will absolutely be booking Shawnee again in the future (and recommending her to our pet-parent friends)!”

“Isabella was great with my Frenchie during our vacation stay in Orlando! She communicated well and spent time to make sure he got some energy out before she had to leave him again.”

“Kristina is an amazing and loving pet sitter. She is quick to respond to requests and easily made day before changes to the schedule due to our needs changing. She takes the time to get to know the needs of our pets. Most importantly the pets were happy and clearly well cared for when we got home.”

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Dundee. On Rover:
- 95% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 98% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 99% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
