“Bradley is excellent with our dogs and did a super job taking care of them. During his visit he was messaging me telling me about his visit and our dogs, and sent some great photos of our doggies as well. We highly recommend Bradley for your pet-sitting needs and will use him again.”
“Second time using Aubrey and another excellent experience. Able to leave my two fur babies in her care without having to worry at all. She is really amazing with animals; our two cats, who really don’t like anyone, warmed up to her right away! I cannot recommend her highly enough!”

“Shawnee is wonderful! Knowing she was taking care of our cat while we were away gave us peace of mind and seeing her updates and photos made our trip so much smoother. We will absolutely be booking Shawnee again in the future (and recommending her to our pet-parent friends)!”

“Shannon is not only a pet sitter. She gets to know you and your pets before even starting!! She became a friend and made me feel so comfortable while I was away!! Thanks Shannon :)”

“My boys were well taken care of and I got some cute photos on my trip for peace of mind. Her response time was excellent and I didn’t have a second of worry about my boys. I was able to enjoy my vacation with the knowledge my kitties were shown love and care the whole time. Will definitely book again.”

Fitting into your daily routine and performing activities both at home and outings to dog parks or the beach. If you wish. My goal here is for your pet to feel comfortable in his or her routine and to have fun. But most of all that you feel at peace and know that your pet is in good hands.
“Once again Bonnie has taken exceptional care of my Jade. She doesn’t just feed her and clean her box, she plays with her and gives her love. I will never book with anyone else, my Jade loves her.”

About: I have had dogs for 10+ years. Feel free to check out my dogs IG page bolt_and_mr.moo to see the life they live and love. I am currently working as a personal shopper and have time through the day to allow the dogs to have potty breaks and home all nights. I live keeping dogs in their own homes because it helps them keep the routines. I make sure they get feed at the same times and their potty breaks are at the same times as usual. If they have any special needs I also make sure to handle them.
About: I have had pets from childhood through adulthood and am happy to be available to help with both cats and dogs. Do not hesitate to reach out, even if same day. I work on call so am available to go at any time morning, day, or night. I am also available most holidays, but those differ. I follow and respect the rules set by the homeowner. I feed the cats/ dogs, as well as take them out or empty the litter boxes.

“As always Lindsey’s attention to detail in caring for our pets and household is above and beyond. Great communication and our cats are very comfortable with her! A treasure!”

“Melinda was fantastic with our cats and went above and beyond! Highly recommend her watching over your cats, and I'll be using her services again for our next trip!”

About: I love taking out pets out to the park to have fun and play, and as long as the owner permits it, I’ll bring my own dog along so they can play together. Additionally, I make sure the dog does their needs at least 3 times a day. One time in the morning after they eat breakfast, one in the middle of the day after they eat lunch, and one time in the night before they go to sleep. I work full time and I have 2 days off. On Saturdays and Sundays, I am available all day from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. I am sometimes available on Fridays, so you’d have to advise me 3 days before to see if I can accept your booking. I leave them unleashed in the home and I don’t put them in cages because I believe they should roam free in the house. I play with them for a long time and at night I do it so they can get tired and sleep soundly. I wash their bowls after they eat and make sure their water is clean. I don’t cook for them for safety reasons, so you would have to bring their own food.
About: I have years of personal experience caring for my own fur babies, as well as experience working in an emergency vet. I am comfortable handling pets who need a little extra TLC due to their health or personality, and nothing makes me happier than giving owners the assurance that their fur family is in good hands💜 I currently have two cats, Dobby and Chai, and I have experience with all ages of pets :) I can care for exotic pets as well! I work full time at an emergency vet, so I I typically work 2 week night shifts and one weekend day shift, usually 10-12 hours each. I will follow any and all instructions left for me to the letter, as I would want someone to do the same for my pets.
About: I have been a veterinary technician for 3+ years and counting. We have had pets in our home since I can remember. I have grown up with the love and loyalty that our pets provide and is something that I cherish. I started pet sitting for coworkers and clients for about 2 years now. I love helping fellow pet owners with caring for their pets in a time of need. My favorite thing is gaining trust from pet owners and ensuring that owners have peace of mind when it comes to being away from their pets. Having the medical background that I do also helps to ensure that your senior babies are being taken care of properly. Pets are family. I am currently a full time veterinary technician and work all days (8am-6pm) except Tuesdays, every other Saturdays (only from 8am- 12pm), and Sundays. With my full time schedule, I make sure that a pets needs come first. I will only pet sit for pets that I can guarantee my utmost care. I house sit a lot as well so this is helpful with my full time job. I tend to pet sit close to my job so if I have to leave in the middle of the day to take a dog out, I definitely can. I make sure to follow all written or printed instructions to a T. I also make sure to stay in close contact with owners (not too close to ruin your vacation) to ensure that they are still at peace of mind throughout their time away. I also love to send photos of their pets while they’re gone so they’re not missing out on too much :)

About: I have past professional babysitting and nannying experience and I believe if you can leave your child under my care than a pet should be the same! I've had 2 German shepards that I have trained myself along with countless other doggies I've watched and taken care of I’m reliable, detail oriented, and flexible with scheduling. Whether you need a quick drop-in visit, daily walks, overnight care, or extended pet sitting, I’m committed to providing dependable care and giving you peace of mind while you’re away. I am a college student so my schedule is wide open. I have experience caring for dogs and cats of all ages, sizes, and personalities. From daily walks and playtime to feeding, administering medications, cleaning up, and sticking to your pet’s routine, I understand that consistency is key to keeping them happy and stress free. Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Eloise
I would like to say that Christy M. did a great job watching our three Cockatoos and two rabbits. She was able to assist us on short notice as our other pet sitter was unable to watch our pets due to illness. She was great with our pets and was very attentive to their needs. She would message me when she arrived and was always on time and she would message me pictures of our pets as well. She even took out the trash and left our home neat and tidy. I would definitely recommend her and plan to use her in the future.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Eloise. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
