About: I have been a veterinary technician for 3+ years and counting. We have had pets in our home since I can remember. I have grown up with the love and loyalty that our pets provide and is something that I cherish. I started pet sitting for coworkers and clients for about 2 years now. I love helping fellow pet owners with caring for their pets in a time of need. My favorite thing is gaining trust from pet owners and ensuring that owners have peace of mind when it comes to being away from their pets. Having the medical background that I do also helps to ensure that your senior babies are being taken care of properly. Pets are family. I am currently a full time veterinary technician and work all days (8am-6pm) except Tuesdays, every other Saturdays (only from 8am- 12pm), and Sundays. With my full time schedule, I make sure that a pets needs come first. I will only pet sit for pets that I can guarantee my utmost care. I house sit a lot as well so this is helpful with my full time job. I tend to pet sit close to my job so if I have to leave in the middle of the day to take a dog out, I definitely can. I make sure to follow all written or printed instructions to a T. I also make sure to stay in close contact with owners (not too close to ruin your vacation) to ensure that they are still at peace of mind throughout their time away. I also love to send photos of their pets while they’re gone so they’re not missing out on too much :)
About: I’ve been an animal lover my whole life and grew up in a house full of pets! Over the years, I’ve had experience with Labrador Retrievers, a German Shepherd/Basset Hound mix, a Golden Retriever, and three cats, so I’m very comfortable with different personalities, energy levels, and lots of fur. 🐾 These days, I’m a proud dog mom to Buck, my black Lab, who keeps life fun, active, and never boring. I know how important it is to have someone you trust caring for your pet, and I’ll always treat yours like one of my own — with plenty of love, attention, playtime, and belly rubs! I currently have a flexible schedule, which gives me plenty of time to provide pets with lots of attention, playtime, walks, potty breaks, and companionship throughout the day. I’m happy to work around your pet’s normal routine so they feel comfortable and cared for. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my priority. I have a friendly black Lab named Buck who loves having a buddy to play with, but I’m also happy to give pets their own space when needed. I follow feeding, walking, medication, and crate routines closely and always make sure pets are supervised, secure, and treated like part of the family.

About: We’ve always had family pets growing up. We’ve had birds and dogs. My son and I are very loving and cuddly with pets and can’t wait to meet you little furry friends I work full time but from home during the week and can take breaks anytime during my shifts to take them out to potty and for food breaks. I live in an apartment but I do have a fenced in balcony and I have so much yard space outside and my complex also does have a doggie park as well.

I am comfortable handling pets who need a little extra TLC due to their health or personality, and nothing makes me happier than giving owners the assurance that their fur family is in good hands💜 I currently have two cats, Dobby and Chai, and I have experience with all ages of pets :) I can care for exotic pets as well (I personally have several invertebrates as well as a blue tongue skink and an African house snake!) I do work full time, so I am not currently able to provide 24/7 services. I currently work overnight (usually Monday and Thursday) but also work Saturday during the day almost every week as well. I would like to say that Christy M. did a great job watching our three Cockatoos and two rabbits. She was able to assist us on short notice as our other pet sitter was unable to watch our pets due to illness. She was great with our pets and was very attentive to their needs. She would message me when she arrived and was always on time and she would message me pictures of our pets as well. She even took out the trash and left our home neat and tidy. I would definitely recommend her and plan to use her in the future.
We had a great experience with our sitter! She took wonderful care of our dog, Remi, and kept us updated throughout each visit. It was clear she made an effort to make him feel comfortable and gave him attention, not just the basics. Remi can be a bit particular, but he seemed happy and relaxed after each visit, which says a lot! Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
