About: Hi, I grew up around several different animals of all sizes from rodents/reptiles to livestock/dogs. I have always had at least one dog in my life at all times. The more the merrier. I love all animals big and small. I worked at a kennel where I learned about boarding and training dogs for about a year and I have pet sat for about 15 years in grand total. I currently work at a pet store in Sutter Creek. I love being around dogs and training or even just hanging out and playing. I am a outdoorsy person. I have experience with livestock animals also. Horses, cattle, chickens, Lhamas, mini animals, donkeys. I have references also if you would like them. Our home is completely fenced and sits on 3 acres. We have two friendly german shepherds. I work part time so some days I am gone at work. But our 17 year old daughter is always home. We also go to church Sunday morning so we would be gone for a couple hours but otherwise we are always home. I care for pets in my home as I would my own. I have 3 German Shepherds. 10 months to 7 years old. As for in home pet sitting I would follow whatever routine you have set for your fur babies already so it would be easier on them.

About: I have always been in love with animals, and so from a young age I have always been the one to help a person babysit there fur babies if needed, and what better way to spend time making money, taking care of different amazing animals. It brings me pure joy!:) I am pretty flexible and could do it any day of the week, but I prefer not to do over nights unless you are gone for long periods of time. I always make sure that other peoples pets are comfortable with me, and have everything that they need, and more. One on one time with the animals are also important to me as the bond clicks faster. I will always make sure everyone’s animals are 100% being taken of with only the best care! And loved!!!!

In addition to growing up on the Vargas Cattle Ranch in Fremont, California, I have many years experience as a foster pet mom and respite pet caregiver. My specialties are orphan care and special needs requiring medication and or specialized attention after surgery. I have occasionally provided respite to animal rescue homes with up to 15 animals when the proprietors are out of state on vacation. I serve all of Amador County. Although I would consider other counties on a case by case basis. I am a retired Health Care Provider with many years of Special Needs Pet Sitting experience and prefer to stay busy on my 3 acres of fenced in property. My pets and the pets that I host enjoy joining me on morning and afternoon walks on trails and playing fetch. I keep a close eye on them when we are outside. Then we all snuggle up on the couch and dog beds after meals while we watch a fun movie together.

They are very communicative and reliable and make sure they understand your dog’s personality and care needs so they can make it a comfortable and positive stay. We had a meet and greet with their dog Rufus prior to setting up daycare and Bodhi and Rufus play very well together. They always send a Rover card documenting how the day went with photos and potty breaks. They even go above and beyond and give Bodhi mental enrichment with puzzles and healthy treats. “We came into town from the Bay Area and wanted to do some whitewater rafting that wouldn’t allow dogs. Sara was kind of enough to watch our 12 pound shih tzu. Sara asked for his vaccinations records to make sure no dog would get sick, which was very reassuring to us. We felt very comfortable leaving him there and believe he had a lot of fun at her place playing with the other dogs. Sara checked in multiple times with updates and pictures and was very accommodating when we asked to pick him up an hour later than originally discussed.
