“Shannon was responsive, kind, and flexible. I had to add 2 more nights unexpectedly for which she happily accepted. She also sent photos and videos so I could rest knowing my senior dog was being taken care of. Will book again!”

“Lisette is amazing! This was the first stay away for our puppy and we were rather nervous. But after we met Lisette we felt very comfortable leaving him. She truly loves dogs and has a pot of patience. Our dog had a great stay at her beautiful and well kept place. She offered him so much attention. Lisette also gave us so many tips on how to train our puppy. She is truly a gem and we are beyond happy to have found her and highly recommend her. We can’t wait to use her in the future.”

“We had such a great experience with Amy and Justin! They took amazing care of our 10 month old puppy and gave us complete piece of mind while we were away. They were the first non-family members to ever watch Nala and it was obvious that they genuinely cared about her. We received daily detailed updates about what Nala had been up to along with lots of adorable pictures. Amy and Justin have a big enough backyard to allow the dogs staying with them to play. We were so happy with the care Nala received and we highly recommend them to anyone looking for someone who will truly care for their dog!”

“Patti’s home is a second home to our dogs. She is great and takes wonderful care of my babies. They are my children and she always puts me at ease that they are getting loved. We use Patti on a regular basis!”

“Sharon is a great dog sitter, and I was especially blown away by her consistent and immediate responses to my messages. This allowed me to plan and modify plans seemlessly (which was important since I was going on a camping trip without cellular service). Their house also has a wonderful yard which was important since I have a hyper golden retriever. All in all I would definitely recommend Sharon as a dog sitter!”

“Blaze was very kind and attentive to Mila. I got pictures/videos daily and she fielded all of my questions/concerns with the utmost professionalism. Her knowledge about all things animals was evident and I know that my pup is in good hands. I’ve already secured her care for another trip of mine!”

“Melissa was the perfect person to take care of our Sara. She had a great time with Melissa’s pups and family. She kept us informed on how Sara was doing each day. This was great for us as it was Sara’s first boarding experience. We know Sara had a blast!! Melissa thank you for welcoming Sara, Rich and I. We enjoyed you and meeting your family!! Hugs 🤗. Thank you.”

“Angela gave daily updates and was quick to respond to messages, which put me at ease when Bruce stayed with her and Jazzy for a week. I saw videos of him running happily outside and cuddling up next to her so I know he felt comfortable there!”

“Walee was one of the best dog sitters we have ever had! We think our terrier Sunny had a better time than we did…Walee sent us lots of wonderful photos of our Sunny playing with her dog and her son. Sunny came home exhausted from so much fun! We will definitely use her again. It was great knowing our pup was so well loved and taken care of while we were out of town. We are so grateful for her.”

“Jovani accepted my booking a few days before my trip. My dog can be a little sassy and particular, but Jovani handled her like a pro — patient, kind, and clearly a true animal lover. I came home to a happy, relaxed pup, and that’s all I could ask for. I will absolutely be booking again and highly recommend to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring sitter!”

“Sixuan was incredibly attentive, following all of my feeding instructions to the letter, taking Andi on regular walks, and ensuring she had her potty breaks every three hours or so. Coming home to find Andi looking so happy relaxed and healthy gave me total peace of mind. She sent regular pictures with updates about her welfare . I gladly give Sixuan 5 stars for her excellent service and cannot recommend Sixuan highly enough! She did an absolutely wonderful job looking after my fur-baby!”

“This is our 2nd booking with Abraham, and both times he took great care of Milo, which is why we used his service again. He kept us updated with pictures and videos, and we joked that Milo was having so much fun such that he was not missing us a bit. Abraham was very patient and accommodating with us, we would definitely use his service again and highly recommend anyone looking for the service!”

“Carla gives my senior dog Ruby the TLC she needs. She gave regular updates to let us know how Ruby was doing and gave our dog walks and cuddles. Her dog Choice is extremely well behaved and would get along with any other dog. I would highly recommend Carla and Choice for your dog sitting needs.”

“Irina is so sweet. She took the time to show us here space which made me comfortable leaving my boys with her for the first time. We got updated photo and messages each day which put us at ease. The boys seem so happy and their normal selves when we picked them up. I will be a returning customer!”

“Michele was a wonderful sitter for our pup Wiley. She was very gentle and accommodating and took Wiley on many walks and play dates. She sent great photos and her communication was great! We loved meeting her lovely family and they all pitched in in sitting Wiley. Thank you!”

“We had such an amazing experience with Olesia and her husband! They took incredible care of GG and treated him like their own. Their updates were thoughtful and consistent, and it was so clear how much they genuinely cared for him. GG can be particular, but he warmed up immediately- which says everything! We came home to a happy, relaxed cat, and that peace of mind is priceless. We’ll absolutely book with them again. Highly recommend Olesia! ♥️”

About: I have personal experience taking care of small, medium, and large size dog breeds and understand the different needs that come along with different dogs. I am adamant about following pet routines to include walking, feeding, reinforcing house rules and play time. Pets have always been an integral part of my family life and I believe that they deserve all the love and attention that we have to give. I have been lucky to have known two special dogs of my own who have since passed, Maddy was a large ball of energy that enjoyed running, tug of war, and lots of belly rubs, and Woofy who was an old soul that enjoyed snuggles and gentle head scratches. As Woofy aged he developed diabetes and a host of other medical needs (including a wheelchair) so I am familiar with injections and medication regimes for special needs dogs. Now a golden retriever named Asa is my furry companion for hiking, swimming, and general adventure. I work close to home during the day but I am available mornings, evenings, and weekends. My time outside out working hours is flexible to fit a variety of needs. I am diligent about checking instructions and making sure the environment is safe. I am happy to provide photos and any needed updates on how your pet is doing.

“Kayla is a truly blessing ❤️❤️. I booked her at 6am same day and she was at my house at 9:15am. I have a new member and she is very sensitive and Kayla went above and beyond for her. I am so grateful !!!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️”

“Phenomenal and absolutely caring. My cat looovvved Terri. Terri's care and communication made me feel completely at ease. Her passion for animals goes way beyond. Would absolutely hire again.”

“Ruth took excellent care of our 3 kitties! I love that she was very thorough and took the time to let us know in detail everything she did with each visit. Although our kitties are very shy and hid under the bed when she came over, she still made sure to check on them and snap a pic so we could see their glowing eyes under the bed. ? We would definitely recommend Ruth and will be happy to have her care for our kitties again. ?”

“This was my first time using ROVER.and am completely satisfied!! We arrived at our hotel and learned that while it is pet friendly you can’t leave your animal unattended. We had planned two days of motorcycle riding and having him ride in front of me was not an option. In a panic I downloaded Rover from the App Store and found Michele!! The entire family was AMAZING!! Their dog CC made Moultrie feel at home. In fact he had such a great time the first day that he bounded into the house the next morning! THANK YOU for everything!! Jessica”

About: Hi, I grew up around several different animals of all sizes from rodents/reptiles to livestock/dogs. I have always had at least one dog in my life at all times. The more the merrier. I love all animals big and small. I worked at a kennel where I learned about boarding and training dogs for about a year and I have pet sat for about 15 years in grand total. I currently work at a pet store in Sutter Creek. I love being around dogs and training or even just hanging out and playing. I am a outdoorsy person. I have experience with livestock animals also. Horses, cattle, chickens, Lhamas, mini animals, donkeys. I have references also if you would like them. Our home is completely fenced and sits on 3 acres. We have two friendly german shepherds. I work part time so some days I am gone at work. But our 17 year old daughter is always home. We also go to church Sunday morning so we would be gone for a couple hours but otherwise we are always home. I care for pets in my home as I would my own. I have 3 German Shepherds. 10 months to 7 years old. As for in home pet sitting I would follow whatever routine you have set for your fur babies already so it would be easier on them.
About: I’ve been surrounded by dogs for as long as I can remember, and I started caring for them on my own at age 10. Over the years, friends, family, and neighbors have trusted me with their beloved pets—whether it’s for a daily walk, a good bath, or a weekend full of cuddles. I’ve worked with playful puppies, gentle seniors, and everything in between, always taking the time to understand each dog’s personality so they feel safe, loved, and right at home. I currently work remotlly, which gives me plenty of flexibility to spend quality time with your pets. I’m available for boarding on weekends and most weekdays after 2 PM, ensuring your furry friends get consistent attention and care. Your pet’s comfort and safety are always my top priorities. I live in a pet-friendly apartment community with a fully fenced dog park, giving pups a safe space to run and play. If needed, I can easily crate your dog and follow any special care instructions you provide. My goal is to make sure your pet feels safe, happy, and loved—just like they would at home.
“Very impressed how Linda treated Oscar my Maltese with full attention that made my husband and I feel good about leaving Oscar. Now we don’t need to worry the next time we go for a long vacation. We finally found someone we fully trust and take care of our baby like family. My dog also learned how to ring the bell when he needs to go out. Linda doesn’t only took care of our Oscar but also trained him something he can do that we were not aware about . Kudos to Linda.”

“Michelle and Dave are amazing! I knew I had found the perfect sitters within minutes. Truly dog lovers. My three year old Pom Chi has never had day care, she loves them! I highly recommend them!”

“Excellent! Tallulah was out like a light for the rest of the evening. Sabrina was very caring and kept me posted all day. Her visits will definitely be a regular thing. ❤️”

“Alexa provided such a wonderful Rover experience. She's a great communicator, very attuned to a pet's care instructions, and I came back to find my pup so relaxed and happy with her. I wouldn't hesitate to book again with her, thank you Alexa!”

I can accept longer vacation dates on a case by case basis as I also travel and need to book around my schedule. I spend time loving the pups in my care & playing fetch in my large yard. I also have a dog door for dogs to access yard. Your pups become my pups when left in my care. I don’t crate dogs unless requested. I request up to date vaccination records & that dogs are clean & flea free. Annual bordetella vaccine to prevent kennel cough is mandatory. All pups eat separately to keep dogs from eating another dog’s food & to prevent food aggression. Dogs are never left alone outside in my large fenced yard which is also locked for safety. I also have two sets of stairs for your fur baby to access the couch or bed (different size steps) or I lift them as well. I have 3 different types of dog strollers for morning/evening walks if your fur baby isn’t a walker (like one of my frenchies).

“Shannon and her husband were amazing! They're very caring people. They also have a French bulldog which was a plus for our frenchie. When it came time to pick up our pup, she didn't want to leave. That's the best sign of a successful playdate. Anyway, we highly recommend Shannon and we will definitely be using her again. Thanks, Shannon!! :)”

About: I’ve loved and cared for animals for as long as I can remember. My very first pet was my childhood cat, who I got when I was 2 years old and who lived with me for 17 wonderful years before crossing the rainbow bridge. I’ve always had a special connection with animals and a passion for caring for them. Over the years, I’ve gained experience caring for many different types of pets, including dogs, cats, birds, fish, and more. I currently have two Dobermans and a kitty of my own. I recently moved to a 2 acre property, which has been amazing for training and working with my dogs, they’re truly thriving with the space and lifestyle they deserve. To me, pets are family, and I always strive to give them the best care, attention, and love possible. I’ve also rescued and fostered kittens in need, helping them find safe and loving forever homes. Caring for animals genuinely brings me happiness, and having them in my life has always been incredibly fulfilling. I currently work part time and have a flexible schedule, which allows me to dedicate plenty of time, attention, and care to your pets. Pet care naturally fits into my daily routine since I already care for my own animals every day. At my home, pets have access to a large, secure fenced yard for safe outdoor time and exercise. I also have spacious fenced in kennels available if needed for safety, rest time, or individual comfort. Pets are always supervised, given plenty of attention, and cared for in a clean, calm environment. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I always respect their routines, instructions, and house rules to help pets feel comfortable and stress free in their familiar environment. I like to check in with pet parents often, sending pictures and updates to give them peace of mind while their pets are in my care.
About: I have been a full-time puppy whelper for the past 8 years and come highly recommended with lots of references. I welcome all different breeds. I am always home. While I do have to pick up and drop off my children for their various sports and activities, it’s just a five minute drive away.I am always available. Plus, I’m attending school online from the comfort of my home. I live on 1 1/2 acres with a mini horse, two small goats that like to visit the neighbors and two potbelly pigs. Additionally I have two older French bulldogs who are house trained and very friendly, as well as two cane corsos who get along well with all animals including pony, goats, and pigs- they’re all pals! All of my animals are well-behaved , and I’ve often been told I should’ve been a vet or a dog trainer because of my love for animals. I have two separate backyards-one for the smaller dogs and one for the bigger ones. However I’m accustomed to rotating them due to my experience as a whelper. I know how to manage introducing new dogs and keeping them separate if needed. My dogs have access to indoors and outdoors, and they sleep in the house at night. I’ve set up set up my garage to be cozy and welcoming for dogs to stay in at night.

“Divya was such a great sitter and took amazing care of my dog! She was super accommodating with my work schedule and even with my delayed pickup. She kept me updated with regular messages and photos. Bodhi had such a great time with her dog, and it was clear he was happy and well taken care of. I’ll definitely be dropping him off with her again soon! 🐾❤️”

“We came into town from the Bay Area and wanted to do some whitewater rafting that wouldn’t allow dogs. Sara was kind of enough to watch our 12 pound shih tzu. Sara asked for his vaccinations records to make sure no dog would get sick, which was very reassuring to us. We felt very comfortable leaving him there and believe he had a lot of fun at her place playing with the other dogs. Sara checked in multiple times with updates and pictures and was very accommodating when we asked to pick him up an hour later than originally discussed. If we come to the area again and need a dog sitter, we won’t hesitate to reach out to Sara. We highly recommend her!”

“Sharon and Henry are great dog sitters! I really felt my dog was cared for and they sent frequent updates. Their dog is a sweetie that behaves well around other dogs. My dog came home both days exhausted from playing all day. I would absolutely recommend them and will reach out to them again in the future!”

“Elaine, treated Cruz like one of her own. She gave her lots of love and attention. Cruz had such a great time with her and her pups that she didn’t want to leave each day, and was ecstatic going back each morning. Elaine provided us with great pics and detailed updates. So thankful to know that Cruz had a wonderful week of daycare with her!!”

About: With 13 years of experience caring for a diverse range of animals, including dogs, cats, birds, and horses. I also bring 9 years of experience working in a small animal veterinary hospital as a Registered Vet Tech. I am focusing on pet-sitting as my primary occupation at the moment. My daily routine begins with feeding the dogs and horses, followed by a morning walk around the property. Throughout the day, I allow them to play in the yard, giving them the opportunity for exercise and enjoyment. In the afternoon, to facilitate some quiet time, I either give a puzzle toy or a no-hide chew treat, and we conclude the day with dinner and a final walk before bedtime. I offer boarding services in my home on a fully fenced 5-acre property. The space includes a small fenced-in dog yard, as well as a fence around the front area. I have automatic dog bowls outdoors that provide filtered water and are cleaned often. Additionally, I provide multiple dog beds for comfort. At night, I prefer all dogs to sleep in cages, so I have a designated room with cages for that purpose. I also have one bed available outside, with the option to add more beds if needed. All the dogs in my care are friendly and sociable with each other, and I only accept house-trained dogs that are good with other dogs.

About: I grew up in a home filled with animals, so caring for furry family members has always come naturally to me. During the 7+ years I lived in Philadelphia, I taught at a large charter school and began house and pet sitting on the side for fellow teachers and staff. Over the years, I had the privilege of caring for so many sweet furry babies, including pets who needed extra attention, medication, and around-the-clock care. I truly grew attached to many of them and missed them dearly when my Philly chapter came to a close in 2024. Today, I proudly call Sacramento home and am excited to share that same love and care with a new community of pet friends! I’m a firm believer that animals can see and feel the energy of humans in ways we sometimes cannot. I lead with warmth, patience, attentiveness, and genuinely good energy…and animals tend to pick up on that pretty quickly. I’ve yet to meet a furry friend who didn’t eventually warm up to me. 😊 I’m especially comfortable caring for pets who need a little extra support, including administering medications, following detailed routines, and providing consistent care throughout the day or night. I work best with thoughtful pet parents who deeply care for their animals, their homes, and the energy within both. About: Hi! I’m Tarron — lifelong animal lover, rescue director, and experienced handler with years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, temperaments, and medical needs and many other animals including cats, ducks, goats, bunnies. I’m the Executive Director of a nonprofit animal rescue and have extensive experience with: * rescue and anxious dogs * senior dogs * puppies * medication administration * decompression and slow introductions * leash handling and structured walks * dogs recovering from surgery/injury * reactive or fearful dogs I understand that every dog is different and I always prioritize safety, patience, structure, and making dogs feel comfortable and secure. Because I have animals of my own and run a rescue, I currently focus on: * drop-in visits * dog walking * medication visits * structured enrichment walks * pet transport/help with vet visits I’m especially comfortable with dogs that may need a little extra understanding or experience beyond a typical pet sitter/walker. Reliable, communicative, calm, and genuinely passionate about animal welfare. I currently work as a program manger for adults with special needs, and manage a small team of individuals. Mornings and evening are best. As well as Tuesdays, and weekends. I do not provide pet care in my own home at this time, but I will gladly come to yours and spend time with your fur babies!
About: I’ve cared for animals my entire life and grew up on a farm with dogs, cats, and a wide variety of animals. That background allows me to confidently care for pets of all temperaments—from high-energy dogs to those that need extra patience and structure. My home sits on 11 acres, giving dogs plenty of safe space to explore and get real exercise not just short walks. I also live a very active lifestyle and make sure every dog gets the movement, playtime, and attention they need to feel happy and comfortable. Your pet won’t just be ‘watched’—they’ll be cared for, exercised, and treated like part of the family. I provide a clean, safe, smoke-free home and send regular updates so you always have peace of mind while you’re away. I’m available every day after 2:30 PM and fully available on weekends. Pet care fits naturally into my routine, allowing me to give consistent attention, exercise, and supervision. I prioritize reliability, so your pet’s schedule stays consistent and stress-free while you’re away. I provide a safe, clean, and structured environment on a peaceful 11-acre property. Pets always have plenty of space to explore while remaining supervised. I follow each owner’s specific instructions closely, including feeding, routines, and any special needs. I can crate if requested and ensure all animals are separated when needed for safety and comfort.

Hugs 🤗. Thank you.”

“Michele was a wonderful sitter for our pup Wiley. She was very gentle and accommodating and took Wiley on many walks and play dates. She sent great photos and her communication was great! We loved meeting her lovely family and they all pitched in in sitting Wiley. Thank you!”

“Alyssa was calm, reassuring, and comfortable w our large, energetic dog. We enjoyed our stay knowing we had someone close by taking care of Coop. She has a nice, dog friendly place w a friend and kid for our dog. He was in heaven.”
“Once again Pranavi did a great job watching and caring for our two little guys. We appreciate the daily pics and video that she sent. We will definitely keep using her to care for a boys.”

“The best review is the way my little guy went running to Michelle with his tail wagging when I dropped him off. He obviously enjoyed his stay with his doggie friends everything to explore in the big back yard.”
“Amber watched my dog Squid for two nights. Squid has bad separation anxiety and struggles being away from home. Amber was fantastic and our dog seemed to love staying at her place. We’ll definitely be booking again.”
