About: What sets me apart is being home full-time to provide constant companionship, plus having a friendly French bulldog who's great with other dogs for socialization and play. My two teenage boys absolutely love pets and will provide even more attention and interaction throughout the day. My securely fenced yard gives pets plenty of safe exercise space, and I have specific experience with French bulldogs and brachycephalic breeds, including understanding their special needs around breathing, temperature, and exercise limits. This knowledge also helps me provide attentive care for senior dogs or pets with special requirements. Pet care fits seamlessly into my work-from-home routine. I start with morning walks or feeding, then take natural breaks throughout the day for quick walks or play sessions between meetings. The flexibility lets easily give extra attention when needed. I provide pet care in both my home and clients' homes, depending on what works best for each pet and family. In my home, I have a securely fenced yard where dogs can play safely and get plenty of exercise. My friendly French bulldog loves having companions and is great with other dogs, so visiting pets get both human attention and canine socialization.

“Our dog is a rescue dog, 6 months from the shelter, and he bonded with Persia in no time. She has a wonderful way with the dogs in her care, and she also took some of the best photos of him that we have! She put our worries at ease; we definitely recommend her.”

“Shout to Stephen for providing responsive and professional care to my 4yo labradoodle Gracie. Stephen is patient and kind to Gracie and all her personalities, so we rely on him for weekly daycare which involves early drop offs, updates throughout care, and late pickups. Stephen responds quickly and is happy to help so hit him up for inquiries.”

“Danielle is amazing and I highly recommend her as a pet sitter. She was willing to work with my schedule and incredibly accommodating. She was prepared for literally everything and you can tell she genuinely adores animals. I love the shaded little yard and that my pup had someone to keep him company all day. Also great to know she can take care of basically any small animal, including my pet lizard! Absolutely will be a return customer.”

“Anthony is a very patient and understanding dog sitter that I would definitely recommend to anyone in the Sacramento area. I could tell he has experience working with dogs. His home is comfortable and he has a large backyard for dogs to roam around in. I was probably more nervous than I needed to be since my dog can be pretty reactive towards new dogs, but Anthony and his dog Millie provided a very welcoming and supportive environment for my dog. He also texted me update pictures that I really appreciated.”

“Bari and Felix were great!! They sent us plenty of pictures and updates and our dog had a great time at their house, and even made a friend. We'd definitely have him stay with them again!”

“Probably should warn people more of the level of anxiety he can get, were generally never out of site with one another and very rarely does He get left behind. Thanks for your time, there was only so much you could do”

About: Hi! My name is chynna (China), I know life can be expensive and I know my rates are higher. However please send me a message and I am willing to work with any budget! :) I've grown up with dogs my whole life, I work currently as a barber which gives me the flexibility to enjoy daily walks and cuddles with your furry friends. I come from a loving family who has always had a soft spot for dogs in our lives. There isn't a day I can't remember not having a pup. I reallly hope that I can look after your pup for you! I can guarantee you that your puppy is in great hands! I currently work part time and have more then enough time to watch and love on your animals. I have been doing so for the past 10 years and would love to help your loved one feel cozy when you are away! I have a fenced in patio, a close by dog park, and huge water bowls. If you would like your dog crated please provide a crate!

About: From puppy zoomies to senior snuggles, I’ve seen (and loved) it all. I’ve raised dogs of my own and been the go-to sitter for family and friends for years. Reliable, active, patient, and always ready for belly rubs or a good game of fetch. Based in a pet-loving neighborhood full of trails and parks—tail wags are guaranteed. 🐾 Like so many others, I was recently laid off—and around the same time, I lost the coolest dog anyone could ask for. With more time on my hands and a lot of love still to give, I decided to lean into what I’ve always been great at: caring for animals. I’ve always been the go-to sitter for friends and family, and now I’m offering that same love and reliability to others. My daughter is my little sidekick and loves helping out with walks, belly rubs, and all things furry. For both of us, pet care isn’t just a task—it’s a bright spot in our day and something we truly enjoy. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in yours, my top priority is keeping them safe, comfortable, and happy. I follow their usual routines as closely as possible—feeding schedules, walks, medication (if needed), and of course, plenty of playtime and cuddles. In your home, I respect your space and your pet’s comfort zones, making sure they feel secure while you're away. If they're with me, they get a cozy, pet-friendly environment, lots of attention, and access to nearby parks and trails for daily adventures. Every pet is treated like family—because that’s what they are.

“This is the third time I have left my pup with Joel and he does a fantastic job. Joel is very flexible when it comes to pick up and drop off times. My pup leaves Joel’s very happy!”

“Haley was amazing! I contacted her super last minute to watch Max and she responded right away. I’m so appreciative and will definitely have Max hang with her again :)”

“Wendy was great with my dog and really helped to ease his anxiety with a recent move. He was excited to get to her house each day. Would highly recommend! Thank you, Wendy!”

“Thank you for taking care of our pup last minute! Good communication throughout the process and we loved getting pictures. Alfie seemed happy and well-cared for. We definitely book again!”

About: I truly treat every dog like my own—with patience, love, and attention to their unique needs. I have hands-on experience working with both energetic puppies and senior dogs who may need a little extra care and gentleness. I'm confident handling all kinds of temperaments and I’m great at reading a dog’s body language to make sure they feel safe and happy. Whether it's helping with leash training, administering medications, or just offering extra cuddles and slow walks for older pups, I go above and beyond to give them the comfort and care they deserve. I also love sending regular photo updates, so pet parents always feel connected and reassured. As a CNA who recently moved from the Bay Area, caring for others—both people and pets—is in my nature. I’ve always had a special bond with animals and miss having my own dog around, so pet care is something that genuinely brings me joy and comfort. Right now, I work midday shifts, which makes me available in the mornings and evenings—perfect for walks, check-ins, or overnight stays. My schedule allows me to give pets the attention they need before or after work hours, and I’m always happy to start or end my day with some tail wags and fresh air. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or theirs, I always make sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable. I follow their usual routine as closely as possible—meals, potty breaks, walks, playtime, and rest—because consistency helps pets feel at ease, especially when they’re away from their owners. In a client’s home, I respect their space and make sure everything is kept clean and secure. I take the time to bond with each pet, giving them one-on-one attention, lots of affection, and calm, reassuring energy. If I’m watching them in my home, I make sure the environment is pet-friendly, peaceful, and free of any hazards, with plenty of cozy spots to relax. I’m also attentive to any special needs like medication, senior support, or puppy training. Clear communication with pet parents is key—I always give updates, photos, and stay available for any questions or instructions.

About: Hi there! My name is Cyndi. I’m 28 years old and a proud mom to my son, Elias. I’m currently pursuing a degree in Women’s and Gender Studies, with the goal of becoming a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. Alongside my passion for helping people, I’ve always felt a deep and unique connection to animals, which has been a constant source of joy and purpose in my life. Cyndi with Animals: I’ve been caring for animals since I was 10 years old, but it wasn’t always easy. As a kid, I would secretly sneak strays into the house and quietly foster them, doing my best to care for them in silence. Eventually, I was caught—but instead of being discouraged, it gave me the chance to care for animals openly and fully embrace my passion. Professionally, I’ve been providing boarding and animal care since 2015. During this time, I’ve had the privilege of working with a wide range of animals, including cats, pit bulls, bulldogs, huskies, golden doodles, German shepherds, and even lizards. I’ve also cared for litters, supporting and nurturing them through various stages of life. Some of the animals I’ve worked with have required specialized care, including medical attention for amputees, administering medication, and addressing anxiety. My background in animal care is incredibly diverse. I’ve worked with dogs, cats, snakes (even rattlesnakes), and wildlife such as possums, rats, bats, and more. Each animal has taught me something new, and I’m always eager to bring that experience to my work. My Background with Rover: I previously used Rover for boarding but took a break after having my son. Now that Elias is older, I’m excited to return to caring for animals and supporting pet owners in need. As a single mom, it brings me great joy to create a welcoming, safe space for animals in my care. My goal is to provide a smooth, stress-free experience for both you and your pet. I’ll ensure your furry (or scaly!) family member is cared for, cleaned, fed, and returned to you happy and healthy—just like you never left them! What I Offer: Bathing and nail trims Feeding and fresh bedding Toys and playtime Walks and cuddles What My Home Looks Like: I live in a cozy apartment with my cat, Kip, and my chihuahua, Jackie. Both are incredibly friendly, calm, and social with other animals. Kip is a rescue kitten who’s full of love and energy—he adores cuddling with both people and dogs! Jackie is sweet, relaxed, and always happy to make new friends. Together, they’ve made my home a warm, inviting space where any animal can feel at ease. I am currently quit my job as an Employment Counselor to finish my degree which leaves me a crazy amount of time! I am available M-F. I can provide availability depending on your booking arrangement and care needs. Safety is everything to me because I understand what it feels like to leave your fur baby at a strangers home. When your dog is boarding It is mandatory your dog is update with their shots. It is important that you share if they have any special needs or bad habits. Bad habits include eating furniture or items, aggressive behavior, food aggression, or have not been neutered. I personally have sanitary wipes for dogs when they go in and out. I like to make sure paws are clean at all times. Also, depending on the length of the stay. Your dog will have a mandatory bath. Either when dropped off or right before they leave. I use only oatmeal shampoo for sensitive. Please let me know if your dog is allergic to anything such as food or soaps. My dog is allergic to certain things so I know how it can be with products. I will say I can only take up to 1-2 at a time and I apologize. I don’t cage unless you demand it. It’s a free roaming home. They’re free to venture as they please. Bed and couch is open for them to use.

About: Hello and thanks for your interest! 😊 Throughout my life, I’ve had many animals - dogs, cats, birds, fish and have been around hundreds, as my mom was in the dog training/grooming business. It was like second nature to always have animals around and I wouldn’t have wanted to grow up any other way - it was never boring, that’s for sure! I’ve been debating on getting a dog of my own, but in the meantime, I’d love to care for yours and give it all the love I can while you’re away! I know what an integral part of our lives our pet is, so I want to assure you that I’m able to take on that responsibility of keeping your animal safe and happy. I’m open to pet sitting at your home, mine, or walks during the day, as I do work from home and am able to essentially create my own schedule. Please reach out with any questions at all - looking forward to hopefully meeting you and your precious pet! I do work from home, so I essentially create my own schedule during the week. I’m able to pet sit at your house or mine, if it makes sense for us both. There are no other pets in my home, so yours would get all the lovin! I’m also able to come to your place to feed, water, walk your dog around and keep them in your routine as much as possible while you’re away. Depending on their energy levels, we could lay low and relax or take them outside, to the beach/park or wherever you are comfortable with. I do have a small SUV and can transport on any adventure or we could just go for simple walks around the neighborhood. Truly up to what you’re looking for!
