About: With 8+ years of pet care experience and 9 years as a dedicated dog mom, I bring practical, hands-on expertise to every visit. My background includes working alongside veterinary staff in high school, dog walking in college, and raising my own dog into their senior years. Pet care is my primary focus! I am available Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM for mid-day walks, potty breaks, and daytime companionship. Caring for my own 9-year-old dog keeps my day structured, allowing me to seamlessly match your pet’s exact routine while you’re busy during the workday. When caring for pets in your home, my top priority is keeping their normal routine as consistent as possible so they feel completely comfortable in their familiar environment. I strictly follow your instructions for feeding, potty breaks, exercise, and administering any necessary medications. I treat your home with complete respect and safety in mind, making sure everything is clean and secure. Throughout every visit, I keep you updated with photos and detailed check-ins so you always have total peace of mind while you're away.

Because I was a new client, I was grateful that they wanted to set up a meet & greet prior to his boarding dates, just to build comfort in advance. Nutmeg had such a blast with this family - it was like he was at Disney for dogs! They kept him active daily, loved on him, and sent me an abundance of adorable photos and videos - which of course put me at ease being away for a week’s time. She had never done any boarding or daycare and doesn’t get to socialize with other dogs often, so Akeeme met her where she was at and was able to give her to space she needed to be comfortable around other dogs. Willow is also a very anxious dog. He was able to recognize when she needed her independent time. For my trip back home, I ran into travel time delays and Akeeme was more than accommodating to me. I’m so appreciative of that! I know that Willow is is great and very capable hands with him.”

Our little 11yr-old pup June had a great time staying with Kerykay. She was gracious enough to book us with less than a week's notice, was incredibly communicative, passed along wellness updates each morning of the stay, made sure to tailor June's walks to what she could handle with her back legs starting to be shaky from arthritis, and accommodated us picking June up an hour earlier than expected. We cannot recommend Kerykay enough; she made our unexpected out-of-town trip mush less stressful.
Meredith was the BEST sitter we could have asked for! She communicated with us throughout Snoop’s stay and was always very responsive. She truly went above and beyond—even washing Snoop’s clothes and diapers before we arrived to pick him up. That was such a thoughtful touch and meant so much to us. Snoop is a senior dog, so leaving him with someone we trust is especially important to us. He usually runs straight to us and is ready to get back home, but this time it was completely different. When we got in the car to leave, he rested his head on my shoulder and looked back through the window at Meredith’s house. 🥹 That told us everything we needed to know about how comfortable and happy he was there. We feel so lucky to have found Meredith and would absolutely book with her again. If we travel out of town again, there’s no question that Snoop will be staying with her!
Gabriel was great with Solo! Very attentive and communicative, and kept me posted throughout the stay. He made me feel comfortable leaving my best friend with him for a few nights. Took him on walks with some cute dogs he had hosting. Definitely hitting him up again next time I’m in town!
Madeline was so amazing with Wallaby! She asked tons of questions up front and was very communicative. She went out of her way to show she cared for him during his overnight visit :) She sent plenty of photos and updates and he calmed down instantly once I dropped him off.
Amazing dog sitter! 🎉 I received photos and updates twice a day, which gave me so much peace of mind. Suede looked like he was having a great time! She took him on walks, gave me regular feedback, and even taught him how to walk up the stairs with her—which was a huge plus because he’s a big, heavy boy! Luke was absolutely fantastic. We just moved to the area, after having the same sitter for 5 years in VA. We left Theo with Luke for a week and couldn’t be happier.
