Pet care experience

Safe, Loving, Attentive Dog Lover

I’ve grown up with and taken care of dogs and other pets my entire life! Absolutely LOVE them. I rescued my very first pup on my own as an adult while I was still in college and had dogs ever since. Most recently, I had my fur baby Buddie for 15 years. I rescued him when he was a puppy at just 12 weeks old and was lucky enough to have him in my life until a couple years ago when he was 15 years old. I’ve dog sat for family and friends many times from small to large sized dogs (but mostly small). I have experience from puppies to seniors, including the extra delicate care, attention, medication, patience, carrying up/down stairs, etc. potentially needed for a senior pup. I have experience administering medication orally, eye drops, etc. if needed. I have the flexibility to work from home outside of a day or two where I may need to be in the office so I can easily managed walks, check-ins and/or boarding. They would get all kinds of attention, playtime, walks, potty breaks, and cuddles! If I do have to go into the office for a day and I’m boarding, I have a pretty flexible schedule and won’t be gone the entire day. I do not have any other pets or children in the home so your pet would have the entire place for their own comfort and space! I love going for long walks and/or jogs and am very close to Piedmont park. There is also a dog park for my apartment building that is a large size for running and doing their business. Your pup will get all the love, attention and cuddles they need while you’re away so you can be worry-free knowing they’re safe and well taken care of!

Julie was great! Kept me updated on how Addie was doing and sent over tons of pictures of Addie during the stay! Will definitely reach out again whenever I’m heading out of town again

Julie was wonderful as always! Murphy had the best time for the 2 weeks over the holidays with lots of videos, pictures, and updates. During the stay, Murphy had a senior moment but Julie took care of him no problem. She was also very flexible and communicative when my flight home was delayed 5 hours. Julie is dependable, experienced, and such a great pet companion. Highly recommend!

We are so happy to have found Julie through Rover. She takes amazing care of our dog Harper and keeps us updated with pictures and videos throughout his stay. When we arrived at her house, Harper started wagging his tail before we even reached the door! He clearly remembered the house from his 10-day stay and was happy to be back at Julie’s. It couldn’t be clearer that he trusts her and we were leaving him in good hands. If you’re looking for someone to care for your dog, look no further and book with Julie.

Calendar and availability

Schedule

I have a flexible work schedule and am able to work from home often so they would be top priority in my day. I am very active so they would/could go wherever I go, or if they prefer to rest and relax, I could definitely do the same! Whatever they need I’d be able to provide.

I love to play fetch and tug-o-war, walk/jog, relax, learn new tricks and give all the love your pup needs throughout the day! Anything that keeps them active if they have energy to release or calm if they need rest and quiet time.
