“Carrianne was able to help us with a last minute walk for our dog. She took the time to stop by the day before to meet him. We appreciated the help and would book her again if the chance comes up!”

“If you’re looking for a dog walker I highly recommend Melissa. She was prompt, professional, and took excellent care of my small dog. She asked relevant questions about my dog before leaving for the walk, and afterwards gave me a thorough update of the walk. I feel comfortable with her in charge of my beloved sweet furry friend!!”

About: I have experience working with a wide range of different breed and sizes of dogs. I worked at a doggie daycare and it was an absolute joy. I have taken care of dogs since I was young. Been surrounded by pets my whole life! From dogs, cats, snakes, fish, hamsters, rabbits ect. People trusted me from a young age with their pets because they naturally floated towards me. From small dogs to big ones. I have taken care of family dogs and friends of family pets. I always volunteered to do anything that involved animals. Not only do I currently handle dogs as my job but I also do baths! I took care of horses and other farm animals down in SC when I would visit family. My family are know to have ranches so animals have been a keen part of my life I'm taking a break from my part-time at a doggy daycare so I got plenty of hours for you dogs needs! I'm available all week for majority of day. I'm able to follow regular routines if informed by my clients in order to minimize confusion and be more comforting for the pets. When it comes to my client's medications for their dogs, I am punctual with how it's administered to their dog. If given permission, I'd bring treats and have them do fun little tricks to build trust between the pets so I'm not just a stranger

About: For the last five years, I have worked at zoos, shelters, and sanctuaries with a variety of animals! In the past I have owned reptiles, and I currently own one dog and three cats. Additionally, I usually have at least one foster animal in my care at all times. I understand that each animal is an individual and will adjust my behavior accordingly. I am happy to be active if your dog is a runner, or a couch potato if they're more of a snuggler! I have experience providing medication and special diets. I am currently working with my dog to decrease his reactivity and my cats on harness training! I am more than happy to do any enrichment or training you request with your furry friend! I am currently between jobs and have few set commitments. This allows me to be extremely flexible in my schedule for all your pet care needs! I ensure that in addition to basic necessities, my animals are given physical and mental enrichment each day, whether it's a training session with my dog or a puzzle feeder for the cats. I am more than happy to do the same for your pets!

“I feel so lucky to have found Emily on Rover. Finding someone that I could trust and rely on was really important and that is what I have found. She walks my dog, Tito, multiple times every week. It makes my day when I get the notification that she has completed a walk with Tito because I can see how happy he is in the pictures that she takes. I have nothing but good things to say about Emily and am so grateful for the quality time that she has spent with my best friend. Thank you Emily! Highly recommend using her services on Rover.”

About: I grew up in a dog-loving family and have continued my love for all animals throughout my life. My first job was at a horse stables caring for all the horses, dogs and cats on the property and since then I've loved several dogs and cats as family members. I’ve fostered 9 dogs, helping to find their furever families, so I have a special place in my heart for rescues. I provide exercising, playtime, feeding, pottytime, special needs for seniors and of course cuddling. Rocky, my 14 yo yellow lab crossed the rainbow bridge recently, so I have more than enough love to give. I work remotely with a flexible schedule and walk a few miles every day. I’d love a walking companion or to stop and care for animals along the way. I can take my work along with me to provide more long term interactive comfort, care and attention. Reliability and respect for my clients and their pawrents are my top priorities. I know the importance of keeping a routine and strive to provide flexibility and communication to accommodate any needs.

About: welcome! 🔔 please confirm you have read my profile entirely when sending your booking request 🔔 Dogs have been apart of my life for over 25 years. I learned body language, how to care for them, and how to be patient and communicate with them from my amazing Grandfather. They truly bring me joy! I treat each pup as if they’re my own during our time together. 🐾 I will do everything I can to accommodate your pup’s needs & your desires. Whether it’s walks vs runs in the yard, administering medication, or preparing food, if I’m able to do it consider it done! As a pet parent, I know how stressful it can be to find reliable care. With that in mind, I strive to provide the BEST care for your dog the first time in order to lighten your load; giving you the peace of mind knowing your fur baby is in excellent hands. 🐶 I no longer work remotely, so I’m not available for drop ins, walks, or daycare M - Th prior to 5PM. I am willing to board throughout the week, but please note your pup will be home alone for about 11 hours. Fri-Sun, I am available all hours. 🚨 MEET & GREETS ARE MANDATORY FOR ALL SERVICES 🚨 Daycare & Boarding: - Please be mindful that I do have a dog of my own. If you know your dog does not do well with other dogs, please do not request a boarding or daycare. I am open to doing daycare in your home for the pups that prefer to be alone. request house sitting & I will adjust the rate! - my home is best suited for the chill guys and gals. lots of soothing music, lounging, & cuddles 💓. Honey Bun is very reserved inside & gets stressed around high energy dogs. To keep all involved happy & safe, please do not book daycare or boarding if your dog is an energizer bunny. I will be glad to drop in, walk, or do daycare in your home though! 😃 - I have a secured, fenced in yard. I am not willing to take any dog to the dog park. Both the front and back doors have additional doors down the stairs, so the chance of an escape is very close to zero! - I crate all dogs when I’m leaving the home, including Honey B even though she typically is not crated. in special situations, I’m okay leaving your dog to roam a designated area, but that is rare and will be discussed prior to the booking. - I do not have any guests while your dog is in my care. Drop Ins/Walks/House Sitting: - I ask that no other humans are in your home when I come over for drop ins, walks, or housesitting unless previously discussed. - Please book a drop in if care outside of walking is needed. - Please assure all animals that need care are listed individually on your profile. I love surprises, but not when it comes to this! - When coming into your home, I will always leave it just as I found it. I will only enter authorized areas as necessary to care for your pet(s). Please assure that all supplies are provided. 🐾 - We will discuss specific schedules for each housit. Some people prefer longer day time care with no overnight, or moderate daytime care + nights. We will workout the perfect schedule for you, your pup, and me 😊. I am NOT available for constant care (24 hours) as I will need to check in with my own dog & maintain my personal life with errands + self care.

“This was my first booking with Travis and I would definitely book him again. We used him to walk our 65 lb golden retriever and to feed a stray cat that visits our house. He provides more than one photo and responds quickly. We had an initial visit and it was very obvious that he loves both cats and dogs and that our pets would be in reliable and experienced hands.”

“Prior to using Rover, I was very apprehensive to have a stranger care for my dogs. Mostly because my dogs are very anxious, and apprehensive with new people. They are a handful. Jamie does so well with the both of them, they don't bark when she comes to get them, which is significant. She walks them for me regularly, and has house sat for me as well. She is very flexible with her schedule and does what she can to work with you, and help you out. She provides plenty of feedback and pictures so you know your dog children are in good hands! 10/10 would recommend!”

“Hi! Jasmine is a really good friend of mine who I know that takes really good care of not just her pets but others as well. She has taken care of my pets when she has come over to my house a couple of times and has been able to not only treat them well but also care for them well too. I have two small shih tzu mix breed who are pretty loud with strangers and a pure breed, high energetic golden retriever, She has been able to handle all three of them pretty effortlessly which i was impressed yet also appreciative about. The two smaller dogs have warmed up to her almost immediately basically surrounding her and wanting her attention. As for the big fluffy boy, she calmed him down to the point where he looked like he was ready for a nap! I know she's also worked at a doggy daycare before and I can say that she has been great with caring for them all by herself as I've been a witness to it. She can handle more than 1 dog at a time and I know she'd be perfect for this job.”

Hope S.
“Highest recommendation! Hope is a stellar human and amazing petsitter. She is conscientious, bright, and kind. She has fostered and worked with animals for over 10 years, including reactive and older dogs and puppies. Downer Woods dog parents share their Rover experiences
Melissa was great - she came on short notice and took our two dogs out for a nice long walk. One of our dogs is very reactive and in behavioral training and Melissa was very patient with the instructions and got them home safe and tuckered out even after a wild turkey encounter. 5 stars!

Katie was fantastic! She walked our dog Lola on short notice and was incredibly accommodating. She was punctual, kept great communication throughout, and you could tell she was genuinely excited to spend time with our dog. Highly recommend Katie and will definitely be booking with her again!

Stephanie is awesome! He is extremely communicative throughout the entire process and truly goes above and beyond. It seems like he really cares about animals and he was great with taking care of my dog while I was out of town. If I could give him more stars, I would!
