“Natasha does an amazing job taking care of Chapo for extended stays while I am out of the country. She does an excellent job of letting me know, his mood, how he is interacting with her, whether he is playful or just needs attention. She is trustworthy, attentive, and personable across the entire process from booking, to daily follow ups.”

“Amy has come to play with our Bernedoodle puppy on multiple occasions. Luna always appears context when we get home. Amy has been so helpful and reliable and when caring for our pup. I never worry that she will be well cared for when Amy is coming to see her”

“Amy and Patrick were absolutely wonderful! They took care of Wray and Rudy so well and were very consistent with sending updates and pictures. I will definitely be using them again.”

About: Comfortable working with a variety of animals, and their individual personalities and needs. I’ve been around animals my whole life, including dogs, cats, bunnies, and reptiles. Worked with dogs in the military, and personally had a special needs working line German Shepherd. Have gone through puppy training, advanced obedience, and health condition management. I work a remote part time job (all from laptop) that does not have a restricted time required. Pet Sitting is the priority on the days it is scheduled, and can be available for short or extended periods (days, 24/7). As I watch overnight/day or pop in, my goal is to make your pet feel truly at home, and put you at ease while away. Whatever structure or routine you outline your pet is used to, that’s what I will follow. I am also okay to care for small house needs while sitting (ie. watering plants). My car is available if short trips to a park are needed.
“Isabel did a fantastic job with my cat! She did everything that I asked her to do and more, and I know that Venus thoroughly enjoyed her time with Isabel. I cannot recommend her enough. She is responsible, thoughtful, caring, kind, and communicative, everything that I look for in a pet sitter. An easy 5 stars, and I would highly recommend Isabel for your pets!”

“Abby was our first introduction to the Rover experience with caring for our pets in our home. She provided great communication, pix and 3x daily reports after each visit which gave us great peace of mind! Our dogs are two mixed breed rescues who can be anxious. Abby did great with both. 10/10 recommend Abby and River!”

“Nadina did a wonderful job caring for our 3 fur babies! She spent time with them during her visits. She provided regular updates that let us know how they were doing & she added some funny insights. She was incredibly thorough & did a great job administering pills. Would highly recommend her to others & look forward to our next booking too!”
“Billie & David are wonderful, highly communicative and, most importantly, caring, gentle & kind to my bulldogs - Elouise & Edith. Going back to work in a post Covid environment, Billie & David, have come to my rescue ensuring that E&E have a mid day potty break, fresh water, a few treats and LOTS & LOTS of cuddles and love. They have been truly a blessing, eased my anxiety about leaving my "babies" and have treated them like their own.”

“Briana is my Ozzy & Pickles’ favorite sitter! She has our complete loyalty. She is transparent when Ozzy gets into the cat food (lil naughty varmint hehe) and goes above and beyond what any sitter does. Thank you as always!”

“I am so glad that I found Ash to help me with my new puppy Apollo. Starting back to work after being off for part of the summer I was worried about Apollo being let out during the day for potty breaks. ash is very reliable and Apollo and my other Dood love having the interaction with her when she stops in. Highly recommend Ash!!!”

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Donegal Heights. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
