About: I have an almost 3 year old White Swiss Shepherd dog who is very social and wants to come on walks with your dog! I love dogs and nothing makes me happier than getting social time for mine. I personally trained my dog to do many charming tricks (like play dead!) and would love to help teach yours too! My dog is great with other dogs of all sizes including puppies as long as they are not aggressive. I work part time and remotely so am flexible for last minute bookings. I’m often out on walks with my own dog and would love to take yours out with us. My dog loves to get a lot of exercise and I’m happy to give your high energy dog a lot of play and walk time with mine! I will come to your neighborhood or house where it’s most convenient to watch or walk your dog. My dog is very well behaved and social with other dogs.

About: I have taken dog training classes at the local animal shelter. I offer puppies plenty of time for teething tug-of-war and have tons of patience with the geriatric slow walkers. I work part time, close to home, which offers plenty of time for dog walking, drop ins and over night care. My hours are flexible. I would keep your dog safe on a leash and have a large crate if that would help them feel secure in a different environment.

About: My partner and I both grew up with cats and dogs in our households and we love pet sitting! We do not have any animals of our own due to frequent travel and not wanting the long-term commitment at this point in life, but Rover a great opportunity to fill the void of not having animals around. My boyfriend works remotely and I work on a hybrid schedule with the opportunity to come home for lunch on the days I’m in office. We have ample time to tend to pets and we enjoy getting outside for walks to break up our workdays. Having grown up with many pets, I'm comfortable with them being on furniture and having them feel at home in my space. I believe the best way for animals to feel comfortable is by sticking to their normal daily schedule.

About: I’ve taken care of pets of every kind since I was a kid. From dogs and cats to birds and turtles. Animals have always been a magical part of my life. Weekly animals are a huge part of my life. From caring for my own, to walking dogs and watching animals while their families are away. We live in a neighborhood that is very close to lots of great trails for hiking. My dog Abby loves making friends as do my kids.

About: Hi! This is Mica & Christian! We are a couple that loves animals and do the sitting together ❤️ We both have experience talking care of our own pets and pet sitting. I had animals living with me since I was 5 years old from rabbits, parlots, dogs to cats ❤️ I am working part-time remotly as a designer without a schedule so I can be available at any time and make it fit in my week schedule 🙌 I will always be aware of any special instructions. I will guarantee that they are well fed, hydrated, clean and not exposed to any dangerous situation or environment.

“Heather was great! She was very easy to communicate with and took great care of Pepper. She even went above and beyond by taking her to a nearby doggie beach! Pepper was very happy and tired after her outings with Heather.”

“Olivia was so great! She walked my high energy medium sized dog and small little wimpy dog in terrible weather. She was easy to communicate with, arrived on time, and my dogs seemed super happy. Highly recommend for your walking needs!”

About: I’ve owned and taken care of dogs my whole life. I watch a lot of my friends dogs when they go away and always make sure they are happy, fed, and included on adventures. I have experience taking dogs trail running, mountain biking, and backcountry skiing. I currently work as a trail guide with horses part time. If your pet is okay being around horses, they can come to work with me. They do have to be in a kennel or tied up while there are guests, but they would be let out and walked multiple times throughout the day. On days I’m not working, your pet will be with me all day, whether it’s hiking, biking, or running! I typically don’t work on Tuesdays and weekends. I live on a quiet back road with a big yard. There is not a fence. My neighbor has a friendly yellow lab that we often take for walks and care for as well. There is a big trail system behind my house and I often take dogs up there for exercise. Inside the house, I am always open to having a dog on the couch or bed as long as the owner is. I am not a partier and am an early morning person. Your dog will be sure to get a morning and evening walk at the minimum. The dogs I walk usually come for any adventure with me, but if you have a senior dog that just needs a place to hang out and be loved on, that’s fine too!

“My first time Rover experience with Sohpia was excellent! She provided us with a detailed recap of her time walking & taking care of our puppy, along with many pictures. She was so friendly and professional, will be booking with her again!”

“Kim is incredible! She was a fantastic pet sitter/dog walker/and adventurer with my two dogs while my family was vacationing in the area. She was kind, flexible and really helped ensure that the dogs were well taken care of, fed, swam, hiked and they absolutely loved her. I'd recommend Kim to anyone looking for pet care!”

“Reliable.... quick to respond. Audra took my 2 big goldens on a long walk in the slippery snow.... and they had a blast and took a long nap afterwards. Thank you so much! We will be return customers!”

About: Hi, My name is Peach and I have an 8 year old border collie. We love spending time on the open trails, the park, or playing at home. We are open to all types of animals, Brewer used to live on a ranch so he is accustomed to many different types. We are always looking for a play buddy. Currently, we live in Tahoe City. I am in nursing school and work at the hospital. Making sure Brewer, or whichever animal I am caring for, has enough care and attention is extremely important to me. I make sure there are several different activities throughout the day for animals to stay happy and engaged. I am able to keep my dog at home, while I am also happy to come watch your pet in your home or take her out for walks/playtime.

About: Our animal companions need compassionate connection and care, especially when during times when their routines are disrupted by our human schedules. I aim to provide calm and gentle care during transitional times to alleviate any stress and anxiety. I love to play and regulate energy through games and activities! I have a wide range of experience with dogs and cats of all personalities, ages, and care needs. My favorite activities with my dog pals have been hiking, playing games while working on farm projects, and snuggles at the end of a long day of play! Building a loving, playful, trusting relationship with an animal companion is such a gift. It's a joy to be part the network of care your animal companion needs to live their best life. My work is in landscaping, ethnobotany and land stewardship. My schedule is flexible and there is plenty of time and space to build in play and walks. My routine is adapted to fit your pet's schedule. My background is in hospitality and guest services. It is my joy to care for your home, making sure everything is well for your return.
About: I have had dogs in my life since I can remember. Growing up around dogs has been a wonderful gift. I am experienced in dog walking, feeding, bathing and playing with all types of dogs! I work from home so have flexibility to walk and play with dogs in the morning, during breaks, and at the end of the work day. I am also available weekends. I have a great private fenced in back yard that is great for playing, pet relief and enjoing the sun! I also am very responsible as a dog owner myself.

About: I have my own 4 year old black lab who loves attention, long walks, and spending time with other dogs. I’ve hosted many dogs through Rover over the past several years and treat every dog as my own. I prefer to walk or dog sit one additional dog at a time so that they can have individualized attention. I will constantly send photos of your pup while they’re with me and will spend time at any of the nearby parks in the city. I work from home full time so I can host your pup when needed. My dog loves to be with other dogs so it’s great to host during the week for extra socializing. I’m typically available on weekends as long as I’m not heading out of town. My dog loves playing with other dogs and loves trips to the park, but he is also in his old man era and will get lazy after a long walk which brings a good balance of chill time and being active.

Rachael K.
“Rachael is simply superlative. She took care of our home and 2 kitties for more than 6 months—we couldn’t have asked for a more professional, loving and conscientious caregiver. Knowing she was watching over things gave us peace of mind. She exceeded all expectations and I feel beyond lucky to have found her.”
Holly O.
“Holly is great with dogs. Holly has babysat and house Sat with my Brittany Spaniel. My Brittany is 2yrs now and still as you know a torpedo that needs constant mental and physical stimulation. Holly knows the difference and gives both. Well educated and doing it because she loves dogs but not in the way that makes you uneasy. She is present and well spoken and talks to the dogs like a teacher talks to an honors student. Her irish roots and growing up around farm animals makes her attentive but stern. Like the Bird Lady in Home Alone 2. She’s compassionate but nobodies fool.”
