About: We nicknamed our home The Dachs Inn - a weenie wonderland! We’ve cared for Dachshunds for 15 years and specialize in meeting the unique needs of this breed, including dog ramps on our furniture and deck. Our home features a dog door with all-day access to a giant backyard for potty breaks, play time, sunbathing and squirrels!!! Plush dog beds are placed through the home and a giant sectional provides the perfect spot for cuddle time. Daily walks are provided, we even have a dog stroller for senior dogs or those dachshunds suffering from IVDD. I work remotely from home full time and, along with my retired husband, provide hourly drop-in care, play dates, overnight and extended boarding in our home. Additionally, I provide home visits and walking services to families located on the west side of Colorado Springs. Other locations throughout Colorado are considered on case-by-case request for extended care in your home (5 or more days). I have three dachshunds, ages 15, 10, and under 1 year. My dog-friendly home has a fenced back yard, we feed all visiting dogs separately, and can provide daily pictures of your baby’s activities. I can also provide regular weigh-ins, medications, and teeth brushing. I am very active and love going on long walks/hikes (up to three miles) upon request. While I prefer to host only smaller dogs in our home, I am open to all breeds for care at your home - including drop-ins, walks, and house sitting. I kindly ask that all dogs are current on all vaccinations, including kennel cough. For medical emergencies, we are established at Westside Animal Hospital, The Animal Clinic of Woodland Park, and the Emergency Pet Center.

About: Growing up in a family that rescued animals often, my life tends to feel empty when im not surrounded by them. From cats, large and small dogs, and even exotic pets like chinchillas, I can care for your fur baby like they are my own. 🚨 I am an active duty household living on USAFA. Because of this i strictly service clients who live or work directly on base.🚨Doggy daycare and boarding hosted right at my home on base. Drop in visits and walking: limited to a 1 to 2 mile radius within usafa housing loops.🚨Pick up and drop off policy: I am happy to provide a "pet taxi" pick up and drop off service for daycare or boarding clients! However to ensure I can stay on schedule this service is EXCLUSIVELY available for on base locations only (Douglas Valley, Pine Valley, ect) I cannot offer transit to off base locations. Currently I only drop off and pick up my little from school. I am able to hang out with your fur babies most the day while they are in my home. Im also able to give longer time in home drop offs to help your fur baby get some energy out if needed. I have 2 playful pups who love running in our decently sized fenced in yard. I closely monitor while toys are being played with to ensure nothing goes wrong.

About: Over the years I’ve cared for a variety of pets— from puppies and kittens to cats and dogs—big and small. I love getting to know their individual personalities and quirks. I understand that each pet requires unique care and attention and look forward to caring for your pet as you would yourself. I am currently working part time so I’ve got the time and attention to offer your pet. My 3 yr old son is an animal lover like his mom and is in school part time. Aside from school drop off and pick up and the occasional errand —we are typically home. So hosting or walking a dog during the morning would be a great fit for our schedule. Mornings are best for me but happy to do afternoons. My son just may be tagging along. I have a small fenced yard. I am happy to walk dogs in my neighborhood or yours. I typically take my dog Goose on a 1-2 mile walk each morning after I drop my son at school. Ideally I could walk your dog and Goose together as he is very friendly. Our two friendly cats have indoor/outdoor access. Your pet will be as welcome in my home as you would like. Dogs are welcome on beds, couches etc. I have an area in my kitchen for their food bowls and will follow whatever diet you give.

About: I grew up on a ranch and have been caring for and been responsible for animals almost my entire life! Animals have always been a focal point in my life. I especially enjoy puppies and have an affinity for training. I have had multiple friends leave their puppies with me to potty train, and I’m always the friend people go to for animal advice! Your animals will be loved and cared for like my own while they’re with me. I am a stay at home mom with 2 animal loving toddlers, so I’m almost always available for care in my home. I’ll have plenty of time to hang out and engage with your pups! I have fully fenced back and front yards, and 2 friendly dogs for your pups to play with if they choose. I also have 2 different sized kennels that can accommodate your dogs if needed. I treat my own dogs and will treat yours like my children, and they are always welcome on the couch for cuddles. I have plenty of toys and activities for them, with an emphasis on mental stimulation. We of course also love playing outside and going on long walks! They’ll always be treated with love and compassion while in my care.

About: One on one attention for your pup! I Have been a dog lover my whole life. I currently have a bison frise and he loves walks, snuggles and playing ball. I am home the whole time so your dog is never alone. They will get lots of attention and walks! I work from home so I’m always here. My dog does not like to be left alone. I take daily walks for all dogs if needed. I have a fully enclosed fenced yard (with wire mesh for critters) and a friendly 8 year bichon pup that loves company. All dogs stay in the house at all times and only go out to fenced yard to potty or play. Dogs can be crated upon request. Dogs are allowed on furniture and beds for sleeping as long as they are fully house trained. I live in a community with dog friendly walking paths.
About: I have always had some type of animal present in my home growing up as a kid! My passion for animals led me to foster a few times and I loved every bit. I actually just moved here! I was thrilled to find out that this state/area was dog-friendly! I wake up early in the mornings and incorporate walks into my day-to-day life and I am able to assist emergency needs. About: Hi, I'm Dan! My best buddy Yama was born in January of 2019, he is now a seven year old good boy. I am a former Army infantry medic and am attending graduate school remotely from my house. I grew up on a farm in Oregon where I was surrounded with all sorts of animals from a young age. I love all animals, especially dogs. My style is fairly permissive, especially with other people's dogs, but I am clear on boundaries, redirect when needed, and give lots of love and positive energy. I don't buy into the dominance theory training methodology and am a big fan of Karen Pryor's training methods. I am happy to answer any questions you have on my philosophy. I live and work at home, so we do daily walks, play time in the backyard, mental enrichment activities, and low active / layabout sessions. I work from home full-time, so your dog is never left alone for long and always has eyes on them throughout the day. My home has a securely fenced yard, and I take introductions between dogs slowly and intentionally, reading body language carefully before giving anyone free run of the space. My seven year old dog Yama is a steady, positive presence who helps visiting dogs settle in. I use positive reinforcement exclusively because a dog that feels safe and understood is a dog that behaves safely. If anything ever seems off medically or behaviorally, I'll contact you promptly - that being said, that hasn't ever happened.
