Top rated Dike cat sitters

“Amina was a wonderful sitter for my two cats while my partner and I were away on a trip. She went above and beyond, frequently scooping their litter, playing with our energetic kitty, and checking in on our shy girl and taking her picture in her hiding spot. We looked forward to her updates (with the cutest pictures) everyday and she was super responsive and asked great questions when she needed to.”

About: I currently have a cat and grew up with a small dog, but I’ve always had a soft spot for big dogs. I’m comfortable caring for pets of all sizes and personalities. I’d love to have a dog of my own, but my apartment isn’t quite the right fit right now, so Rover is a perfect way for me to spend time with animals I love. Whether it’s a walk, some company, or just making sure your pet feels at home, I’m all in! Since I’m off for the summer, my schedule is pretty wide open and super flexible. I’m available for daytime walks, drop-ins, and overnight stays — whatever works best for you and your pet! When caring for pets in your home, I aim to keep their routine as normal and comfortable as possible. I’ll follow your instructions closely, give them plenty of attention, playtime, and affection, and make sure they feel safe and relaxed while you're away. I’ll also treat your home with the same respect and care I would my own.

“Jennifer was very friendly, super easy to communicate with, and truly cared about providing good services. She checked on Marley for us, let her out, fed her, got her some exercise, and gave her pets and cuddles. She will be sure your pet is taken care of and loved on! Marley seemed to have loved Jennifer coming over!”

About: I have taken care of different animals growing up dog sitting, and dog walking is what I normally did! I love going on walks with dogs combines my two favorite things, the outdoors and animals! I have two other jobs but don’t work full time, I usually have a couple days off. When I’m off i like to be outside and doing things! I help make the animals feel safe! I know how some animals can be with their parents gone and it can make them feel scared or abandoned. So being there with them and playing with them can help calm that sense of abandonment!

About: I have taken care of animals since I was little, I've had small corgi's to a current Great Pyrenees. I have taken care of senior German Shepards who has health problems and puppies like my great Pyrenees. I know letting a college student take your dog out is scary but trust me, we need the break. I love animals and they deserve some time so I have it open Well! I hope your house is safe for them! I will be coming to your house to take care of them as they are not allowed in dorms.

About: I have been trusted to love on/take care of others’ animals for as long as I can remember. I have cared for dogs of all sizes- from a Burmese mountain dog to a Chihuahua, no dog is too big or too small! I will always treat your furry friends how I would want mine to be treated 🤗 I am an elementary art teacher during the school year, but I am currently working part time. I have lots of free time for visiting your pets weekdays and weekends! I will treat your home respectfully and carefully and your pets equally so! I can take your pets out for some fresh air and a potty break, give crated animals some love and play time, and even administer medications if needed!

“Easily the best sitter I've had from this app. She communicates well, goes above and beyond, sends so many photos, and is a lovely human. I've booked with three pet sitters in total on Rover and she shines above the rest. I can tell she genuinely enjoys this job and cares about my pets well-being. I'm usually so anxious leaving my cats for long periods of time, but not at all with Maegan. I don't think words can properly express how wonderful she is!”

About: I've been house/pet sitting for 7 years now, and have always had people happy with how I care for their animals and home. I can work with any needs from puppy needs to medication. Especially if you're baby is older and in need of more special care ❤️ I've always built great relationships with people and their pets, they will always be well loved while you're away☺️ I will also take care of any plants and other animals you may have that aren't an option for Rover. I'm currently a full-time online college student, with no video classes. So I have lots of flexibility and nowhere to be besides with your babies. Especially if they're more on the cuddley side. I do my best to keep animals comfortable in their own homes. Keeping to schedules and their traditional routines to the best of my abilities. Lists are appreciated when it comes to your pets schedule 🙂

About: I’ve had pets and taken care of them since I was a kid. I have also taken care of the pets of friends and neighbors. Everyone I has been very happy with the care their fur babies received! I currently work from home and am flexible with my availability. I am available for drop in visits and walks throughout the day as well as more continuous care, depending on the situation. I can care for your pets in your home following your instructions to accomodate how you and your pets are most comfortable and the schedule they are used to while you’re away

About: I have had pets all my life, from early childhood until now with very few breaks. With my pets I've gained experience with surgical after care, tube feedings, medication administration as well as subcutaneous fluid administration and also basic grooming just to name a few keys skills. I work full time days but am home every evening and my work is close enough that I can come home on lunch to tend to our pets if needed. I am also home and available most weekends. We can accept emergency/last minute stays if our schedules allow us to accommodate them at the time. Our largest fur baby is a male Mastiff Shepherd mix who loves to play with other dogs. The smallest, a female Miniature Dachshund is a homebody who doesn't care to play with other dogs but will accept their presence. We have 3 cats, all plump and happy. All of them are pretty chill and just lounge around all day waiting for all the attention they can get. Contact me any time with questions about my availability. There aren't many times that I'm not around to accept new and returning clients that need care. If needed: Larger and/or outdoor animals will follow the same rates as dogs for basic cleaning and care, in your home. Smaller caged pets will follow the same rates as cats for basic cleaning and care, in your home. At our home we have a large unfenced yard, our large dog is off lead most of the time, but our small dog uses a lead. Visiting pets are kept on a lead at all times since it's not their familiar area. We spend a large amount of time outside when the weather is nice, and snuggle up on the couch when it's not so nice. When home alone, our dogs are crated. We have fairly consistent schedules for our pets, as I would assume yours do to, which would be followed per your instructions. I work full time weekdays but have the ability to make time for your pet if needed. My weekends are normally free, or we always try to take our dogs with us. All pets are cared for based on their humans instructions. It helps to write down any special instructions to ensure that they receive the proper care when needed. Otherwise expect them to be loved and cared for as if they were my own.

Ellen J.
“I have had Ellen watch my 1.5 year old golden retriever who is VERY high energy. She did an amazing job caring and loving on Blue. I never had a worry about if Blue was safe and well cared for. She sent me multiple pictures throughout the day so I wasn't missing him too much. I left very detailed instructions and helpful hints on all of Blue's quirks and she was able to care for him just as we would if we were home. We would 100% recommend Ellen to watch your fur babies.”

Glory M.
“Glory has been a dog walker and done doggy daycare for our two dogs for three years. She does an excellent job walking the dogs and even goes beyond our expectations. She keeps track of when and where they go to the bathroom and the route she used. She also continues to work on basic commands and then praises them. But what stands out most about Glory is how much she loves dogs. Her greetings are genuine and enthusiastic. She always make sure to give them some loving when she gets there and before she leaves. The dogs love her and so do we.”

She has a way with animals to keep them calm. She actually does better than we do tending to his high energy. lol. Kaitlyn does a great job with him and taking care of the house! She is trustworthy, an honest person.”
