About: I have more than thirty years experience caring for dogs and cats. I’ve helped family and friends feel comfortable leaving their pets home while on vacation or in the hospital. I have a full time job M-F. While caring for your pet, I may be away for 9 hours during the day. The weekends are much more flexible. Your pet is most comfortable in their own environment. Every dog I work with I try to help them with manners, foundational work, and PLAY!! Currently I am/will be raising a puppy of my own to be my next service dog, so I will not be able to do long stays in the clients home. I will be offering dog walks and drop ins. I currently have two snakes and two dogs of my own. I provide mental and physical enrichment multiple days a week and provide them with the proper exercise they need. I have been working in the veterinary field for around 10 years, and most of my recent experience is a lead ER technician. Because of my experience in emergency medicine, I’m very comfortable recognizing changes in behavior, administering medications, and responding quickly if a pet ever needs medical attention. Before working in emergency medicine, I also owned and operated a mobile pet grooming business, so I’ve spent years handling dogs and cats of all sizes, temperaments, and special needs. Currently I am not working and working on getting certified to start an IT career so my availability is very open. I’m a mom to two boys and married, so family and responsibility are a huge part of my life. Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
