About: I've had animals my entire life, and I currently have four dogs and two cats of my own, so I understand just how important it is to find someone you can trust with your pets. I treat every animal as if they were part of my own family and make sure they receive plenty of love, attention, exercise, and care. My family has a ten year old black German shepherd named Blitzen; a Great Dane named Hamilton; and a chocolate lab named Teddy. About: I have had a love for dogs all my life. Last couple of years I have worked with dog rescues as a foster, that is how I found my dog. While working with the organization I took some classes with a dog training. I work from home but I do have to make trips outside of the house 2-6 hours. I can normally plan my trips outside of the home. I have fenced in yard and crate for dogs that are custom to using one. I have 1 dog, foster gone wrong. I only have 1 dog so I can foster when needed.

Since my courses are online, my schedule is generally wide open. I've taken care of animals all my life--from dogs to cats, salamanders to crabs, parakeets to parrots, and bunnies to hamsters. I have yet to meet an animal I didn't love and, more importantly, one that didn't like me! My experience involves caring for rescued pets, so I understand the importance of patience and boundaries. I have also cared for newborn, adult, and senior cats and dogs. I'm well-rehearsed in accommodating dietary restrictions and administering medication. There is no pet too big or too small, and none too needy! I pay close attention to each pet's needs and have a strong passion to make sure those needs are met. I suppose the only downside to hiring me is your pet may not want me to leave. I work part-time and do Rover part-time, so my schedule is usually open for petsitting or walking. I also attend school part-time online and will have plenty of time to engage in play with your pets! I make it a priority to follow each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medication, and any other special instructions. I also understand that every pet has a different personality and comfort level, so I take the time to earn their trust and give them as much space as they need.

I have been working in shelters and vet clinics since I was 15 years old. I love walking/running I try to get everything done in the earlier mornings or later evenings due to the wonderful Texas heat. I can medicate or feed if needed.Please let me know if you have any further questions. I do work full time but my schedule is very flexible. I only work 3 days a week so a few days I do nothing at all. I don’t do in my house pet sitting. We have a dog that was adopted as a senior and does not like other dogs and cats.
