About: I’ve cared for dogs and cats as a professional groomer for the past 5 years. I am a mom to a tripod Shiba Inu mix and a deaf Shih Tzu mix! I work for a school district 7-4 Monday-Friday. This has freed up my schedule on weekday evenings and weekends are typically free with a bit of notice! I have a soft spot for seniors, I am especially gentle with the sugar faced pets. Since my courses are online, my schedule is generally wide open. I've taken care of animals all my life--from dogs to cats, salamanders to crabs, parakeets to parrots, and bunnies to hamsters. I have yet to meet an animal I didn't love and, more importantly, one that didn't like me! My experience involves caring for rescued pets, so I understand the importance of patience and boundaries. I have also cared for newborn, adult, and senior cats and dogs. I'm well-rehearsed in accommodating dietary restrictions and administering medication. There is no pet too big or too small, and none too needy! I pay close attention to each pet's needs and have a strong passion to make sure those needs are met. I suppose the only downside to hiring me is your pet may not want me to leave. I work part-time and do Rover part-time, so my schedule is usually open for petsitting or walking. I also attend school part-time online and will have plenty of time to engage in play with your pets! I make it a priority to follow each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medication, and any other special instructions. I also understand that every pet has a different personality and comfort level, so I take the time to earn their trust and give them as much space as they need.
