“This was our first booking with Rover, on recommendation from a friend. Sara could not have made the experience any better! She took wonderful care of our two cats and was very thorough. We really appreciated the photos and the detailed reports. We will definitely use Rover again and preferably Sara!”

“Megan is the best! I whole heartedly recommend her. She took excellent care of our two senior cats. She gave them their daily meds and checked for accidents! Our cats were very contented, and house was in tiptop shape upon our return. She sent us regular up dates and photos to keep us informed. It was an absolutely worry free experience.”

“This was my first time using this app and Emily could not have been more patient and kind. Was so loving with my dog and communicated really well. Absolutely will hire her again.”

“Megan took care of our 2 cats for 11 days and they couldn’t have been in better hangs. Her communication was clear and complete And she sent plenty of photos. She also took care of a few packages that were important to us. Definitely recommend. Hope was get to use her again soon.”

“This is the 4th time that Jennifer has taken care of my sweet kitty, and I couldn’t imagine anyone else doing so. My kitty is super shy and has major separation anxiety. It took some time and a lot of patience, but Jennifer was able to break through that barrier and now my sweet little girl comes out to great her when she comes! I know I can rely on Jennifer to follow instructions and fulfill her promises with integrity. She even leaves little toys and approved treats out before she leaves. I have so much less anxiety when I travel now because I know my sweet girl is getting the interaction she needs while I’m gone (and on her terms). Thank you Jennifer, you are a true blessing!”

“Heather was “spot on!” Could not have asked for a better experience, and my dogs were happy when I returned home and that meant more to me than anything!! I hope she will pet sit for us again… I can now leave town with confidence that all will be well when I return! :)”

“We couldn’t have asked for a better pet sitter! Malia took such amazing care of our cats while we were away, and it was obvious they were getting lots of love and attention. She spent time playing with them, making sure they felt comfortable, and treated them as if they were her own. She even got the grumpiest cat to play with her. She also went above and beyond by bringing in our mail and taking care of little things around the house, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were gone. It’s rare to find someone who is not only dependable and professional but also genuinely caring. Coming home to happy, relaxed cats says everything about the quality of care they received. We are so grateful for everything she did and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for an exceptional pet sitter. We will absolutely be using her again in the future!”

“Val is wonderful with our two puppies her being an actual dog trainer is a big plus! She’s also on time very good in communicating. Easy to work with. We trust her with our dogs and home again!”
“Kaesea did an awesome job coming to check in on Sophie & Obi while we were gone. She gave us updates and pictures. We really appreciate her help and even last minute too. She even brought in our packages that got delivered inside the house. You can tell she cares a lot about animals. We will definitely use her in the future.”

“Kimberly took great care of our Murphy while we were out of town. She went above and beyond cleaning up the mess he made when he felt mad that we’d left him behind. We appreciate her!”

“Leeann is the best! She’s always around to help with Winnie when I get held up or for events. She does such a good job with her, is attentive, and I just feel comfortable knowing she’s in good hands.”

“This was our first time using Rover.com, and it will not be our last! Taylor was so sweet with our Sam and great at keeping us informed. I felt so much better going on vacation knowing she would be taking care of him. I could tell from the pictures he was happy and loved when she came by. We’re thankful for Taylor and will be calling again.”

About: I’ve taken care of pets my whole life. Currently have a dog and two cats that I love to bits. I always find time to be out playing with my dog and keeping cats company when it comes to the night hours. I’m currently not working but I do have the transportation to get around for check ins on pets. I have free time on my hands at the moment so my schedule is really open to going in the morning, going in the afternoon, and going in the evening times before bedtime. I do not offer boarding in my own home, so being in the client's home I would be sure to introduce myself to the dogs, be outside while dogs are playing, and always attentive as to where an animal is within the house or backyard.
About: I have had pets for as long as I remember. I absolutely love animals they make me happy. Whenever friends, family, or neighbors needed someone I was the one to call. Taking care of fur babies is my passion to love and care for them is so rewarding to me. I currently do not work. So you know what that means lol I have a lot of spare time on my hands to be able to take care and love your fur baby whenever it is needed. However you would like me to care for your babies, whatever their routine is lI will follow it as you see fit. Im just there to make your life easy with no worries and to love on your babies.
“Alexandra is exactly what we needed! This was only my second time using Rover and I accidentally sent her to the wrong address(over 30 min away) 🤦🏻♀️ however she was so kind to go to our new address and take care of our babies! I could give her 5 stars on that alone, but she was so great at checking in even on our extra shy cat who hides from everyone. She even got her to come out!!! She cleaned the litter boxes more than we anticipated and was overall amazing! If you’re a beginner using Rover, Alexandra will provide all the comfort you need.”

Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of July 2026, there are 1,259 sitters on Rover offering Cat Sitting across Annetta. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Annetta. On Rover:
- 90% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 96% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 97% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
