About: I started taking care of friends' and neighbors' dogs after retiring in 2024. My lifelong love for cats and dogs of all shapes and sizes is now my daily passion! As an active retiree, I don't have any pets currently, and the house is empty and waiting for my next furry friend! I've cared for everything from dachshunds to a Bernese Mountain Dog. I love cats, but I want to watch them in your home, not mine. Happy to house-sit, work overnight shifts, and care for senior dogs and puppies. Although I don't have a fenced yard, I do have miles of walking trails and parks in the community, as well as an electronic fence for any dogs that need unrestricted access to a yard. I am fully retired and spend my days caring for your pets. Rarely will your important pet be left alone, if at all. I used Rover with my senior dog, Tucker, for over 5 years and met some wonderful people. It was a relief to me when I traveled, knowing my best friend was also enjoying his time in a safe, loving home. Now I meet new animal friends every week, and it feeds my soul and theirs. Your fur baby will have a dedicated sleeping space, feeding space, and unlimited access to our yard, depending on your needs. Full access to the entire house. I encourage you to bring toys, pet beds, crates, and any other items that will make your cherished pet comfortable. We are comfortable giving medication to older dogs, working with young puppies, and customizing our days to fit your pet's regular routines (such as walks, feeding, medication, and brushing). We have access to a private dog park, but we only go there after discussing it with you in advance. Note: we have an unfenced yard but use sound/ vibration to alert your pup if s/he is trying to escape. No electricity involved, just moderate stimulation. Most dogs learn the boundaries very quickly and without any discomfort.

“Emma was great! Responsive, responsible, and great with my pup! I'm a sitter myself on Rover, so my bar is pretty high and I'm quite picky with who I let into my hope and who I ask to watch my dog. Emma was all green flags right away. She made it easy to set up a meet-and-greet. Came over and let me take the time to go over all the particulaties of the space (there were many) -- I've recently moved into my Grandma's home, as she died a few months back. Her keepsakes and belongings are still everywhere in the space, And I thought it would be nerve-wracking to let someone into that space with so many priceless (to me) items were still all over the place. Emma heard me out and made me feel confident that she understood where I was coming from and how special the space was to me. After an hour with Emma, I was totally at ease. About: People often say I have a way with animals. They always seem drawn to me immediately, even when they are wary of others. I feel honored that animals feel this way about me because I feel the same about them! I have cared for many dogs of all sizes as well as owned cats. I have volunteered at a dog rescue in Thailand that has many disabled dogs as well as fostered cats/kittens here at home. I am an empty nester and would love to care for your four legged family members while you are away. Although I will never replace you, I can provide love and safety until you return (and probably some treats and adventures too!) I'm currently not working and can dedicate my time to pet/house sitting and care. As you can see from my photo gallery, I love all animals and have volunteered at a dog rescue in Thailand, fostered kittens at home, and have seen very cool animals in the wild and at animal rescues/sanctuaries around the world. (I always vet them to make sure they are ethical and doing legit work) I have a large fenced yard and indoor space for cats or dogs. We have plenty of shade and are also willing to take pets with us on outings. I live with my husband and son and they also love and respect animals. As far as caring for pets at someone else's home, I can stay at your house or check in as often as needed. I will play with them, feed them, bathe them, take them places (if requested) and give them love. I know they miss their people and its not the same without you, but I do my best to make them feel safe and comfortable.

I'm knowledgeable about breed-specific behaviors and needs and am open to any dog, given they are not aggressive towards me. I can give baths, trim nails and brush out loose fur. I can administer oral medication and will keep on schedule with feeding if you have one. I am always on time and more than willing to do my best with any special requests you may have. Your best friend's comfort and enjoyment is my priority, whether it's a walk, home visit, or overnight stay. I am also knowledgeable about and very comfortable with cats, as well as fish, reptiles, and small animals. I have a chinchilla and a pet jumping spider of my own! I am currently unemployed; my only schedule commitments at the moment (when I would be unavailable) are on Tuesdays and Fridays from 1-2pm, and Tuesdays through Thursdays from 4-7pm. I would love to pet-sit full time! I can provide walks around your neighborhood or at our local park, and will tire your dog out (if needed) in whatever way they choose. About: I have always had many animals growing up, I've taken care of little dogs and big dogs, over 90 bunnies, chickens, horses, cows, alpacas, goats at once. I lived on a ranch most of my life where I had at most, 40 goats, 4 cows, 5 horses, many dogs, many cats, 30 chickens on average, 10 alpacas. Cats are my favorite animal. I have pet sit before on many occasions. Not that it helps on this app but I have gave medicine, tended to, bandaged, cut out of fences( some animals get caught in fences), and birthed animals. I am very familiar with there needs and have a hard working, loving attitude. I am open to any schedule, please message me for details. Same day scheduling is just alright with me. Scheduling in advance is much appreciated. Open to all animals. When I take care of your pets, I take care of them like my own and with attention to detail. I am loving to them and make sure to meet all of your and their needs. I am respectful to the home and leave it exactly how I entered. Additionally I pick up after them and do any in home care such as cleaning and throwing out the trash if necessary. I stay in contact and respond very quickly for a safe and trusting environment.

About: I got my first dog when I was six, and growing up he was my best friend. I also had lizards, birds, fish, frogs, hamsters, and cats! Ever since then, I have always been passionate about helping dogs and other animals.
