Shout to Stephen for providing responsive and professional care to my 4yo labradoodle Gracie. Stephen is patient and kind to Gracie and all her personalities, so we rely on him for weekly daycare which involves early drop offs, updates throughout care, and late pickups. Stephen responds quickly and is happy to help so hit him up for inquiries.

About: I have cared for and loved animals since I was a little girl. I was raised in a house with dogs of all types and have continued to have them in my life. I have two rescues, a 6-lb sweet female chihuahua and a 30-lb shy male terrier mix, that love to be around other dogs but who also are submissive to and respect other dogs’ needs for their own space. Having been a zookeeper and vet tech, I have worked on training various critters, as well as cared for elderly animals that need special attention or medications. I work from home with my husband full time and we are always ready for fur baby snuggles on our couch and bed. We also live near a canal and trails, so dog walks are very frequent in our home. Because we live farther away, we are also willing to come do pickups to keep you from having to drive to us, but we understand completely wanting to see where your pups are staying. I work from home nearly full time except Tuesdays, but my husband is home full time everyday. I am an early riser and can do early walks/pickup/potty breaks. As we are working on house projects due to this being a new and first home purchase, we are gone a ton on the weekends too. If I am staying at your home, I can arrange to be there constantly because my husband is home to care for my pups. I don’t have a fenced yard, but live very close to a dog park that is fenced. I also have a canal trail right off my driveway and we walk our two dogs on it all the time. My two babies are extremely sweet and friendly with other dogs. I am an extremely tidy and organized person, so whether your pup stays with me or I come to your home, I can guarantee I will always leave things as good or better than I found them. Also, if you have any last-minute travel issues, I can almost always adapt to host longer to make sure you don’t have to stress about what will happen to your pup.

Leslie was my kind of people, AND my doggos' kind of people! She was patient with my anxious guy Walter and delighted in the antics of our puppy Dolly. She was lovely about my concerns and allowed me to sit with the dogs to ease into the stay and socializing with her dog Daisy, who was gracious about the energy my dogs have! We will definitely be back! Thank you, Leslie!

About: I’ve grown up haveing all types of dogs and animals dogs, cats, horses, rabbits, ferrets. I love all types of animals and really enjoy working with dogs. I have worked with dogs rescues in Los Angeles and foster a lot of dogs from all ages. I have worked training a lot of dogs for not pulling on leashes to being fully off leash dogs. I am safe with reactive dogs and specialize in strong breeds. Keeping dogs safe and allowing them to make good choices is my top priority. I have trained with top trainers with my own dogs and work with balanced dog practices. Structures and rules lead to Great dogs and treats along the way. Learning what makes each dog tick and connections are so important. Each dog is so special and giving them the world even if it’s just one pee break and a cuddle is the best feeling. I am currently in town for the next 2 months due to my full time job on hiatus. I am fully available and pretty flexible. If my service area doesn’t cover you please send me a message rates can be adjusted to include travel further. Safely is my top priority with dogs. Keeping a dog safe with a new person is so important. Deleting on what the dog is accustomed to i use Leashes and slip leads , Ecollars, prong collars whatever the client wants and what works best to get the dogs and clients needs met. Can take the dog out by the house or out to a lake for swimming and ball throwing. I am very aware of my environment to keep the dog safe from others and feel a private area is best for dogs while under my care. I have a even tempered 2 year old playful dogs as well that may join the adventure once I feel comfortable with your dogs and them knowing me.

About: I grew up with a family of people and pets. I have always loved animals and always will. Often times my parents would leave the house for a get away. I am an only child so it would always be up to me to watch what was a big part of my life 2 cats and 2 dogs. It was something that was so natural to me being I grew up doing and my parents always trusted me with the duty. As of the moment I live alone with no pets and being lonely, would love to spend some quality time with a furry companion being I'm not allowed to own a pet in the apartment where I live. I have experience with both dogs and cats, small dogs, big dogs or any cat. Thanks.

Oh my goodness, out of the many different sitters we have worked with on Rover, Pam is by far the best we have ever encountered. That is to say that the care that she and her husband provided our nervous little puppy was 100% perfectly suited to his needs. No competing dogs, no high energy little kids to amp our puppy’s nervous energy into high gear. Perfectly calm home environment that is perfectly suited for anyone who has a high energy dog or puppy that needs calm spaces to remind them how to act calmly. So very grateful for the care Rocky received in this “daycare”

About: My family has always had 1-2 dogs, and I have been watching other people's dogs for 6 years. My family once had 4 cats and farm animals, so l am also experienced with other animals. I love going on hikes and walks. My clients are always happy with my caretaking, often asking me to watch their animals again. I am able to watch your pet (s) at animals again. I am able to watch your pet (s) at you house, as long as it is clean, but l am also able to watch your pets) at my house, as long as they get along with my families' dog. :) I have watched many types and breeds of dogs (doodle mix, Chihuahua mix, Australian cattle dog, etc) I am currently unemployed, so I have lots of time to give your dogs attention, hikes, or whatever they need. I will only not be available June 8-19, and after mid August my availability will change. I have a fenced yard, and one friendly, smallish dog. I live on a ranch, so beyond the dance there is plenty of space for the dog to run around if they are okay off leash. I also have one cat, so it is preferable that your pet is cat friendly, but if not I may be also to make it work.

Whether it’s playtime, cuddles, or just keeping them company, I’m here to make them feel safe, loved, and happy while you’re away. My schedule is very flexible, so I can easily adapt to your pet’s needs. Mornings start with feeding, walks (if needed), and playtime. Throughout the day, I provide potty breaks, short walks, and attention. Evenings include dinner, exercise, and cuddles before a final bathroom break. Weekends allow for longer adventures like park visits or extended play sessions. In My Home: I provide a pet-friendly space with scheduled feedings, walks, playtime, and cozy rest areas. Your pet gets constant attention, safe socialization (if approved), and a structured routine. I have 10+ acres of space to allow your pets to be free to have fun. What a great environment for my dog. The backyard is a dog's dream, especially if your pup likes to run. Yolanda was very accommodating when I was delayed and kept me informed of how Beau was doing during his stay. I would highly recommend Yolanda and her Doggy Day Care.

Thank you Leslie and Michael! Zeus had a great time playing with Daisy and being lovingly cared for by you. I appreciate the videos and photos sent to me while I was away from him. He had never stayed with anyone outside of family and it comforted me to know he was so happy. I will definitely reach out again should I need a sitter. All the best to you

FAQs for Doggy Day Care - Dew Drop

Frequently asked questions about Rover

As of August 2026, there are 587 sitters on Rover offering Doggy Day Care across Dew Drop. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Dew Drop commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.

A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:

  • For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
  • For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
  • For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.

Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in CA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 587 sitters in Dew Drop, 87% respond to messages in under an hour.

You can message multiple sitters simultaneously to find the fastest available match. If you need care today or tomorrow, you can look for sitters with a "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
