“Lois, did a fabulous job caring for our 2 dogs. We had originally hired her for 1 potty break during the day which at last minute turned into a 2 potty break day. She was responsive and accommodating. Highly recommended Lois”

“Nicole took care of my fur babies so well and even cleaned after one of them when he had an accident indoors and we were 5 hours away. My dog is difficult to handle because he is high energy and most sitters have been unable to keep up with him but Nicole is amazing! 10/10”

“Our 3 cats, two dogs and rabbit were well loved and cared for. Mikayla sent daily pictures and even walked the dogs daily. Every pet was calm when we arrived home after our long weekend. Very nice experience for them.”

“Isabella arrived right on time for Mazie’s drop-in walk and kept me updated throughout. She was attentive and communicative, and best of all, she sent photos from their time together—I loved seeing Mazie enjoying the outing. Isabella clearly cares about the dogs in her care. Mazie was happy when she got home. Couldn’t ask for better. Will definitely book again!”

“Cynthia was able to accommodate two requests for drop-ins over the course of several days when my travel plans changed at the last minute. She was wonderful with Foxy, not only feeding her but also playing fetch and snuggling. I'll absolutely reach out to her again the next time I'm going to be out of town.”

“Natalie was awesome! I came home to very happy cats even a thank-you note. Natalie was super reliable and communicative and totally helped me out with my last-minute request, for which I'm super grateful.”

“Ashley does a wonderful job taking care of our cat, Molly. She does a great job communicating how things are going and sending photos. Our cat has special needs with medication and diet, and Ashley manages it all perfectly!”

“Paola took such good care of our 15 year old kitty! Our house looked spotless as well, which I know wasn’t luck. Our kitty tends to struggle with hairballs! Paola spent at least 30 minutes on each visit, playing with the kitty and chasing away her loneliness. It’s so comforting to know that someone truly cares for your pet while you’re away on a trip. That’s how we felt about Paola.”

“Taylor is everything you want and need in a sitter, and then some! After 9 days away,we came back to calm and happy cats. She's conscientious, thorough, friendly, helpful, great with animals, perceptive, and detail-oriented. I took a chance with her for our first Rover experience, given that she didn't have references, but her write up shone with a love for animals that resonated with me, and once we met in person, I knew she was a great choice. I wasn't wrong. She did everything we asked (cats, birds, plants, fish), kept us informed of it all with lots of daily pictures and updates, and even shared a solution to a water dish problem that she discovered and that I didn't know about. I will definitely ask her to watch our creatures again, because they were in very good and capable and loving hands. Thanks,Taylor!”

“It was great to have Amy take care of Gracie. I feel Amy is super reliable and it's nice to have someone you can count on, especially regarding my little kitty, whom I love so much. I would highly recommend Amy!”

“Nancy’s the best pet sitter I’ve ever had! She’s responsive, eager to make sure all my animals are well taken care of. Whether it’s walking my rat terrier or making sure the heater is working so that they don’t get cold at night, she’s thoughtful and goes the extra distance. And she sends me pictures of the dog and cats at every visit in real time. She’s just wonderful.”

Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of June 2026, there are 26 sitters on Rover offering Cat Sitting across Dew Drop. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
