“I had to leave my very attached golden doodle overnight for the first time over the weekend when my sister was getting married. Julie offered to do a meet and greet a week ahead of time and immediately put my mind at ease! She is very welcoming ..even comfortable with my dog’s weird quirks (like trying to eat socks eek). It was great that she had a few dogs at once so they could play all day together as well. My dog had a great time and I didn’t have to worry at all while I was with my sister during such an important weekend. I highly recommend Julie. Especially if your dog needs friends to play with and a watchful person to make sure they don’t get into any trouble. :) Thank you so much Julie!”

“Madaket watched our dog Cooper for a week, and was wonderful! She sent us photos each day showing the days activities which included going for walks, playing with her dog Bermuda, and just relaxing. When Cooper came home to us, he was relaxed and happy (unlike when he had been boarded elsewhere). Not only can we highly recommend Madaket to watch your pet, but we have already booked Cooper to be with her again for a couple more stays.”

“Otis had a great time with Caitlin and her family! She was really flexible and communicative, and sent us regular updates and pictures. We so appreciated having such a welcoming family to care for our pup!”

“Casey always has a blast at Michele's house and returns home tired and happy. She is warm, caring and loves dogs... truly the perfect person to care for our dog when needed. Thanks Michele!”

“Andrea & Bob were fantastic! We were away for 2 weeks & we’re worried, but they really took good care of our pup. We received daily photos of Mamie’s activities, & updates to keep us in the loop. We recommend them highly & will use them again.”

“Mabel loved her stay with Sally! She had a great time going on walks and playing with Sally’s sweet dog, Ginger. I highly recommend Sally as a Rover sitter — she took care of Mabel while I was on vacation in the Cape and kept me updated with regular photos. I felt so at ease knowing Mabel was in such great hands!”

“Once again we counted on Caitlin to watch our Shelby when we needed to take a last-minute trip. Within a few hours we received the first picture of our puppy playing happily! Always makes you feel comfortable knowing your pet is well count cared for and Caitlin is the girl to do it! So accommodating and such a dog lover – anyone would feel comfortable leaving their precious family member with her!”

“I’m guilty of being a helicopter Mom. My dog is very attached to me and spoiled! Needless to say I was overly worried leaving Finn for 5 nights. Steve was amazing putting me to ease. He sent pictures and videos that clearly showed Finn both happy and comfortable. Finn will be a repeat customer:)”

“Chelsea did a great job watching our puppy all week while on vacation. She sent pictures and updates daily and put us at ease. She was able to take our dog on a very short notice and on the final day was able to bring her to us. When I got our dog back I even noticed that she is now better potty trained and able to walk on the leash which is a huge plus for us. If you are considering having your dog taken care of with no worries, I highly recommend giving Chelsea high consideration.”

“My dog had a great time staying overnight! Karissa sent me a lot of pictures and everything went smoothly especially with it being a last minute booking.”

“Melissa and Kellie were wonderful! Maggie got so comfy so fast she even made sure to give some lovings to them before jumping in our car to leave. We felt some comfortable going on vacation with Maggie in their care and would love to book with them in the future even though we don’t live in the area.”

“Can’t say enough good things about Karen! We just moved here and were so nervous to find a good sitter.. Right off the bat Karen was so gentle and kind with Goldie, sent tons of picture updates, was quick to respond, and I never once felt worried or anxious! Also her dog Juni is the sweetest dog on the planet :) even with their size difference Goldie and Juni became sweet friends!”

“Cindi was amazing and our Fenway loved her time with Cindi and her husband. I 100% recommend Cindi to any dog owner that needs a living home away from home on the Cape. She communicated with us daily, giving us updates on Fenway’s day. Cindi is the best!”

About: I grew up caring for and loving dogs deeply. This is what inspired me to become a certified veterinary technician, which has taught me how to be an even more skilled and proficient caregiver for pets. My partner and I also have an extreme love of spending time outdoors (on the beach, hiking, etc.), so if your pet likes these activities, we would be a great fit! I currently work full time job, and my days off are Friday, Saturday, & Sunday. On workdays, I am usually gone anywhere from 8 until 3-7, but I am happy to house dogs in my home while I am gone if they are able to be left unattended for that amount of time. My husband works from home, so he is there to keep them company, take potty breaks, go for short walks, etc. I spend a lot of time after work outside and walking, so pets will still get their exercise. On my days off, I can dedicate a lot of time to pet care. That being said, I am generally available for pet sitting any day/night of the week, and dog walking after work or on my weekends. My yard is 95% fenced in, so playtime in the backyard is quite safe. I do not leave animals unattended outside. I will keep your dog on a leash in the yard if there is a risk of him/her running off. I live 0.2 miles from the beach on Nantucket sound, and have the ability to take your dog on leashed walks there if they enjoy activities like that! I am willing to let your pet roam free in the house if they are well-behaved and it is safe to do so, but can easily set up a crate if preferred or necessary.

About: I’m a 32 year old teacher who is looking to take some new pet friends on walks this summer. I have an almost 3 year old chihuahua who is the center of my world, and I have previous experience house-sitting, walking and boarding. I’d love to meet you and your furry friends! Available starting June 20th, during the week and most weekends. Typically available 8-4, and can walk your friend near you or take them on an adventure! Available to help year-rounders and seasonal friends! Boarding can be worked out on request! My wife and I have a fenced in yard, and our fur baby Bonsai is very dog-friendly. The yard is decent sized, and I stay outside and play with our friends in order to keep an eye on them. We can crate as needed, and are pretty flexible. Bonsai and I love our walks, and I can bring Bonsai along to keep your pet company if you would like! As for boarding, we’ve had three different sets of furry friends board at our home already this year!

“Jenny took care of Ace within last minute need. She was amazing. Ace liked her from the moment he met her. She kept me in the loop about how Ace is doing and send pictures Proffesional and kind. Thanks Jenny See you in the summer.”

“Alyne was a great host for my dog, Bella. When you see how relaxed a dog is after a stay, you know the host treated your dog well, as was the case with Alyne. Bella seemed to get along with her dog, Bruce, which made the stay even better. Bella had lots of room to run around. I would definitely board Bella with Alyne again.”

“This is my second time having Taylor watch my dog, Pepper and I couldn’t ask for more! She is one of very few people that I really don’t worry about Pepper at all while I’m away.”

About: I have taken care of dogs my entire life. My family has always had multiple dogs in our home and a house isn’t a home without a dog. For years I have cared for friends and family dogs while they were either at work or vacation. Now that I am retired I have a lot more time to give helping others who need support to care for their dog. I am available all hours of the day and night. I can pick up dogs or they can be brought to my home. I am semi retired and this allows me lots of flexibility in my schedule. I have a fenced in yard that backs up to conservation land that I use to exercise my own dogs. If allowed by owner, walks on the beach at low tide is a favorite activity for our dogs. During the summers I walk the many trails this area has to offer, many with ponds the dogs love to swim in.

“I highly recommend Jessen for any type of pet care. Jessen is a licensed veterinary technician and great with animals of all different kinds. I've worked with Jessen for the pet 5 years and the care and dedication she's shown to our animal patients is unmatched by any other person I've worked with. In addition to being my coworker, Jessen has watched my own pets for me, including a very stubborn and difficult puppy that I would not have trusted anyone else to watch. Jessen will spoil and love your pets to no end, and you and your pets will absolutely love her.”
