We were aware of how our dog was doing the entire time we were away by seeing pictures and videos of our dog at Caitlin’s home. We felt extremely comfortable with her upon our first meeting and she is so accommodating if you want to take your time or if you’re in a hurry either dropping off or picking up. “Where do I start. this is the 1st time we have used a pet sitter for our dog Delilah. Madaket was our chosen one. Right from the start she was accomandating and helpful. We had to change our drop off plans my son had to drop her off.She stayed intouch with us through our trip,sending pictures and assuring us that Delilah was cared for and happy. Which took a huge weight off our shoulders. Unfortunatly I ended up getting very sick the day before we came home and was admitted to the hospital. We ask if we could extend Delilahs stay. About: I have been taking care of our bull dogs for seven years now. We adopt and had three before our oldest recently passed away. Bull dogs provide quite a bit of high maintenance care such as cleaning all folds multiple times a day, tail pockets, monitoring skin for yeast or allergies and of course… wiping butts after potty time. At least two walks or forms of exercise a day to keep them in shape for their health and breathing issues; if you see my babies photos, they are in super shape! So caring for three I feel shows my love, responsibility, managing skills and understanding of how to properly and lovingly care for pets. For many years now, I have also cared for a variety of my family members dogs and cats, whether that involves feeding, walking/ exercise, over nights, and loving attention. About: I am a very compassionate, enthusiastic person that absolutely loves dogs! I don’t have a dog of my own anymore and only take one dog with no other dogs - unless the dogs in your family are more than one - the more the merrier in that case I’m in! I know many dogs do not get along with other dogs which is normal for many dogs, no worries I get it! This is a huge peace of mind for many dogs and their owners- and my specialty catering to one dog - hence my pricing. Believe me it’s worth every penny! A bit about me- my family and friends have always say “I’m a dog whisperer”! I have always had dogs in my life, but I lost my best friend (yellow lab). She was my soulmate! I am now ready to enjoy and take care of your fur-baby or fur-babies as my own. I give one on one attention to your dog that you will not find anywhere! All the dogs do very well with me, and their owner’s have all said they’ve had a huge relief knowing their fur- babies are in good, loving hands with me! You will absolutely have a peace of mind!! I’m available for house sitting in their comfort of your home or vacation/summer home or boarding here at my home. I also do drop in visits with walks, play and company for your pet. I love going on adventures with trail hikes, beaches and exploring with your pups. I know dogs, and I know their needs. Dogs need social interactions, company and lots of attention just like we do as humans! Your dog(s) will always be my bestie too! I look forward to hearing from you, meeting you and your fur baby! I am home full time (early retired teacher) and have plenty of time to walk, play and cuddle with your pet! I’m available for your needs and your pet needs too! I live in a quiet area that has great places for taking walks, hikes, beaches (when dogs are allowed during the year here), and adventures with your fur baby! People tell me it’s like doggie vacation camp when their dogs come stay with me!
About: I have extensive experience working with dogs of all sizes. Growing up, my family had large dogs (90+ pounds) for almost all of my life. I have watched and pet-sat for dogs of all sizes in the past few years for neighbors and friends. I’ve recently moved back to the Massachusetts area after a travel-heavy job for the past few years, so no fur babies of my own yet! I look forward to re-exploring some of the wonderful walking trails the Cape offers with your furry friends! I’m currently working as a server part-time, so have plenty of time to play with, walk, and feed your dogs/cats. I am available for boarding or pet-sitting in your home most weeks, and for walks nearly every evening, plus morning and afternoon shifts every Tuesday and Wednesday. I have a large backyard and walking trails within a 10-minute walk from my house, perfect for leashed adventures! I do not have any pets in the house full-time, but may have my parent’s well-trained and friendly rescue in the house on occasional weekends.
About: I trained 3 service dogs for NEADS weekend puppy raiser program. All 3 dogs passed their service dog tests, 2 of them assist children with special needs and the other dog is a courthouse therapy dog. I also had a Bernese Mountain Dog for 10 years! Last year I volunteered at The Cat Connection in Boston where I cared for the shelter cats there. I am flexible on times to walk, but mornings and afternoons work best for me! Just let me know what time works best for you. I am comfortable dealing with any animal and will follow any special directions needed. We were aware of how our dog was doing the entire time we were away by seeing pictures and videos of our dog at Caitlin’s home. “Where do I start. this is the 1st time we have used a pet sitter for our dog Delilah. Madaket was our chosen one. Right from the start she was accomandating and helpful. We had to change our drop off plans my son had to drop her off.She stayed intouch with us through our trip,sending pictures and assuring us that Delilah was cared for and happy. Which took a huge weight off our shoulders. Unfortunatly I ended up getting very sick the day before we came home and was admitted to the hospital. We ask if we could extend Delilahs stay. About: I’ve taken care of dogs prior to having kids, in my early 20’s. Summer residents and Nantucket residents where we resided before relied on me to walk and dog sit their pets. I’m currently home full time with my two boys. My oldest will be going into kindergarten in the fall and my youngest will be going to daycare part time and be home home with me the majority so I’m available/flexible. I am responsible and very protective of my kids along with clients pets. I do not have a fenced in yard but I would love to take your pet for nice long walks during the days on leash.
