“Marcia was wonderful; they made my pup feel like a member of the family! I got lots of updates so I didn't have to worry while I was away for work. Cane was having so much fun that I wasn't sure he'd want to come home!”

“Karen did a great job with Charlie! Lots of pictures of him having fun outdoors and playing with other dog friends. She kept me up-to-date with how he was doing, and he looked happy and well cared for when we picked him up.!”

“My 2 year old Lab/Golden Cross had a great weekend with Julie, her dog Ellie and another client's puppy. It was a last minute booking request but she agreed to a meet & greet first. Julie's calm and loving demeanor as well as her beautiful and inviting home convinced me my dog would be in good care. And she was. Having another client's puppy to run around with was a bonus! Thank you, Julie!”

About: Hi! We’re a dependable, dog-loving family offering in-home dog boarding and dog sitting on Cape Cod. If you’re looking for a safe, attentive, and comfortable home for your dog while you’re away, you’ve found it. We both work from home, so your dog will never be alone. We have a small, friendly Labradoodle who loves other dogs and is very used to sharing his space. Because of that, visiting dogs typically adjust quickly and feel right at home here. We’ve cared for many friends’ dogs over the years, including puppies, adult dogs, and seniors. We’re comfortable with different temperaments, energy levels, and routines, from active dogs who need lots of playtime and walks to more relaxed dogs who just want a calm, cozy environment. We have used pet sitters several times for our own travels, so we know how nerve-wracking it can be to leave your beloved fur baby with a stranger. We will make your dog one of our family and give you regular updates, including photos. We know how important it is to trust who you leave your dog with. Our goal is simple: make your dog feel safe, happy, and cared for, so you can relax while you’re away. Feel free to reach out with any questions or to set up a meet & greet—we’d love to meet you and your pup! Pet care fits very naturally into our daily routine because we both work from home full-time. This allows us to build our day around the dogs in our care rather than leaving them alone for long stretches. Our typical day includes morning potty breaks and walks, followed by a relaxed workday where dogs have plenty of supervision, companionship, and opportunities to go outside as needed. We take breaks throughout the day for playtime, short walks, and attention, depending on each dog’s energy level and routine. In the evenings, we usually incorporate longer walks, playtime, or wind-down time, making sure dogs are settled and comfortable before bedtime. Because dogs are part of our home environment, they’re included in our daily rhythm—not treated as an afterthought. On weekends, we’re generally home and maintain a similar routine, with even more flexibility for walks, outdoor time, and one-on-one attention. Overall, having dogs in our care is something we genuinely enjoy and prioritize, and our schedule allows us to provide consistent, attentive care throughout the day and week. We care for every dog as if they’re our own, with a focus on keeping their routine consistent, their environment safe, and making sure they feel comfortable and loved while you’re away. Before any stay, we take time to understand your dog’s daily routine, feeding schedule, exercise needs, and any quirks or preferences—so we can mirror what they’re used to at home as closely as possible. In our home, dogs get: Plenty of supervision (we both work from home, so they’re rarely alone) Regular potty breaks, walks, and playtime based on their energy level A calm, safe environment with space to relax or socialize Lots of attention and affection throughout the day We’re also comfortable administering basic medications if needed and following any specific care instructions you provide.
“Once again we counted on Caitlin to watch our Shelby when we needed to take a last-minute trip. Within a few hours we received the first picture of our puppy playing happily! Always makes you feel comfortable knowing your pet is well count cared for and Caitlin is the girl to do it! So accommodating and such a dog lover – anyone would feel comfortable leaving their precious family member with her!”
“Kari was wonderful with Hazel. I could tell Hazel adjusted well and enjoyed her time with Kari and her family by the photos and updates Kari provided along the way. I would leave Hazel with Kari again knowing that she would be well cared for.”

“Maria is so sweet and caring. She has a genuine love of animals and it’s evident in the way she treated my fur baby. I highly recommend Maria for all your dog sitting needs. I’ll definitely contact her again.”

About: I have spent my entire life around dogs, but my professional experience sets me apart when it comes to reading and handling animals. For almost 3 years I worked as a Pet Care Specialist. I was responsible for the specialized daily care, behavioral monitoring, and medical treatment of all sorts of animals; birds, reptiles, small mammals, fish, etc. I am experienced and comfortable administering medication and recognizing signs of illness, in the case that you have a dog with specialized needs. Today, I work professionally as a dog groomer. Every day I work hands on with dogs of all sizes ages, and temperaments. Because of this, I have the experience and patience necessary to deal with anxiety prone dogs, high energy balls of chaos, puppies who haven't yet learned manners, and senior dogs who need gentle care. I'm confident I can meet your dogs needs, whatever they may be, and ensure their stay with me is as comfortable as possible. I'm also happy to provide my available grooming services if that's of any interest to you! I work 8 hour shifts at the grooming salon, and I am free on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, which gives me full, dedicated days to spend at home with your dog(s). For the days I am at work, a responsible family member will always be available at the house, to assist with potty breaks or just to hang out. Your pup will only ever be alone if they want to be. This allows me to provide boarding any day of the week! My home is fully equipped to be a safe, fun, and adaptable "home away from home" for your dog. Here is what you can expect during their stay: Secure & Spacious Play: We have a large, fenced backyard where your dog can safely run and play. We are located in a lovely, quiet neighborhood right next door to a large recreational field/park with a walking trail. For more adventurous pups, we also have excellent wooded trails nearby as well. Socialization & Companionship: My family will be more than happy to provide extra human interaction throughout the day if your dog is seeking it. We also have 2 friendly resident dogs (a gentle, senior Shih Tzu who mostly minds her own business, and a social English Pointer who will be happy to make new friends) and 2 cats who are well accustomed to dogs, but will mostly keep to themselves. Separation When Needed: While socialization is great, it's not for everyone. If your dog is anxious, or just feeling overwhelmed, I have my own private, dedicated space where they can get away from all the hubbub of the household, and enjoy some downtime. I am also fully able to accommodate crate-trained dogs if that's something they prefer. They are also more than welcome to share my furniture if they're more of a lap-dog type! As a professional pet handler, I promise to stay aware of your dog's body language and ensure they're recieving the best care possible. Their safety and peace of mind are my top priority.
“Ann was great! We did a meet and greet ahead of time and communication was great for the overnight. You could tell Philly was comfortable the whole time. Will absolutely book again.”

“Isabella and her Fiancée, Connor, were amazing. Our dogs can be a bit needy and timid. Based on the daily pictures Isabella sent us, the pups were having the time of their lives (my golden retriever was actually a bit sad to leave.) Great at responding and flexible to our schedule. We’d absolutely use them again in the future.”

“Andrea and Bob did an excellent job of caring for my old dear dog. They treated her gently and with respect, and when I picked up my dog, I could tell by her tail wagging she was happy to see me yet happy to be there. I highly recommend Andrea and Bob, especially if your dog is old. Their experience in caring for senior dogs is clearly evident.”

“Marc and his family were outstanding! We couldn’t have felt more comfortable leaving our pup with him - he checked in lots and it was obvious our Archie was so happy in his care! We would confidently recommend Marc to anyone looking for someone to take care of their fur baby.”

About: Hello! My name is Annika, and I am a high school teacher looking for extra time with animals. I currently own two dogs and a cat, and have owned many animals in the past. One of my dogs is less than a year old, so I have plenty of puppy experience. All of the dogs I have owned are over 70 pounds, so I also have experience with large dogs. I am also aware of the large spectrum of different types of cat attitudes there are. I am so excited to get some extra animal time in my life. Please reach out if you think I can help you and your pup/cat! I am a teacher with the summer off. I do have some obligations throughout the summer, but will be able to help out when I can. I am aware of the needs that many different types of animals need. I know that puppies need lots of stimulation, older dogs still need love, and cats need what they want when they want it.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Hyannis
Karen took wonderful care of our Bitsy. She sent us just the right amount of photos and videos of Bitsy enjoying her stay to put us (really, me) at ease. We knew Bitsy was in great hands. We will definitely be bringing Bitsy back to stay again with Karen. Thank you, and Juni!!

Katie is absolutely amazing--a true dog whisperer. She took care of our beloved but challenging 15-year-old dog for three days. Our dog is usually wary of strangers and has separation aniety, having been abused when young, When I dropped him off on a Friday evening, he immediately trotted after Katie and was comfortable with her from the start. She coaxed him into her lovely house and let him explore to his hearts content. If felt very confident, leaving him in her care. Our dog takes multiple medications (for anxiety, past seizures) and Katie handled their administration perfectly. Our old guy is also terrified of thunder storms, which I'd forgotten to mention. Of course, we had a series of dramatic storms his first night and throughout the first full day of his stay. Katie calmed our dog down--something we have not been able to do, even with additional tranquilizers. She even swaddled him in a weighted blanket and sent us pictures of him resting peacefully. Between breaks in the weather and once it cleared for the rest of his stay, she took him on many long beach walks and sent us photo updates. He loves beach walks, and was clearly very happy during his entire visit. Katie was calm, patient and flexible. (I got stomach flu and had to delay picking hm up, and she was very kind and understanding about my repeated pick-up postponements). I can't say enough good things abut her. i'd drive 100 miles to have Blake stay with Katie. She's also a wonderful, upbeat, very smart person. All of our interactions made me want to have her as a friend! I hope Blake can stay with her whenever we have to board him on the Cape. You dog will be very fortunate to stay with her. Recommend her 10000000n%.
