Pet care fits naturally into my day/week because I work from home and keep a steady, calm rhythm. Morning coffee is followed by a walk to stretch or start the day with a sniff or run. Throughout the day, I take breaks for play, fresh air and cuddles, and I am never gone for long stretches. Evenings can be wound down with a stroll on the beach or quiet streets. My routine is consistent, warm, and relaxed.

Safety, trust & environment

In my home, pets are treated like family. I make sure they have a calm, loving space where they can relax and feel safe. I keep their routines consistent—regular meals, fresh water, walks, and plenty of playtime or quiet companionship, depending on their personality. I'm home most of the time, so no one's left alone for long. Dogs can nap near me while I work, join me for beach walks, or lounge in a sunny spot. I keep things peaceful, clean and full of gentle attention.

A typical day

The pets I care for get plenty of fresh-air moments and companionship throughout the day. We'll go for walks, runs, ball chases and fetch, quiet neighborhood exploring outside - or inside games like tug for the younger pups. Plus, always belly rubs, brushing coats, or simply hanging out.

Boutique Care in Calm Coastal Home

Pet care experience

I offer a calm, highly attentive, boutique-style dog care experience in a spacious, beautifully maintained, and clutter-free home environment designed for comfort, safety, and ease. I take one dog at a time, ensuring each guest receives genuine one-on-one attention, consistency, and a steady, unhurried rhythm throughout their stay. Your dog will enjoy two long daily walks (typically around an hour each), often along quiet, expansive stretches of private beaches. These walks are designed to provide both physical exercise and a relaxed, decompressed environment for exploration. My approach is grounded in attentiveness and observation, with experience supporting a wide range of temperaments, including more sensitive or anxious dogs when needed. The goal is always to meet each dog where they are and create a stable, reassuring environment. My home itself is clean, spacious, and intentionally uncluttered, offering a beautiful setting that feels more like a retreat than a boarding environment. Mine is a high-touch, limited-capacity care approach for owners looking for thoughtful, individualized attention and a calm, consistent home-away-from-home experience for their dogs.

Katie is absolutely amazing--a true dog whisperer. She took care of our beloved but challenging 15-year-old dog for three days. Our dog is usually wary of strangers and has separation aniety, having been abused when young, When I dropped him off on a Friday evening, he immediately trotted after Katie and was comfortable with her from the start. She coaxed him into her lovely house and let him explore to his hearts content. If felt very confident, leaving him in her care. Our dog takes multiple medications (for anxiety, past seizures) and Katie handled their administration perfectly. Our old guy is also terrified of thunder storms, which I'd forgotten to mention. Of course, we had a series of dramatic storms his first night and throughout the first full day of his stay. Katie calmed our dog down--something we have not been able to do, even with additional tranquilizers. She even swaddled him in a weighted blanket and sent us pictures of him resting peacefully. Between breaks in the weather and once it cleared for the rest of his stay, she took him on many long beach walks and sent us photo updates. He loves beach walks, and was clearly very happy during his entire visit. Katie was calm, patient and flexible. (I got stomach flu and had to delay picking hm up, and she was very kind and understanding about my repeated pick-up postponements). I can't say enough good things abut her. i'd drive 100 miles to have Blake stay with Katie. She's also a wonderful, upbeat, very smart person. All of our interactions made me want to have her as a friend! I hope Blake can stay with her whenever we have to board him on the Cape. You dog will be very fortunate to stay with her. Recommend her 10000000n%.

Katharine was absolutely wonderful as a Rover host. I had a super-last-minute work trip to Hyannis Port and needed to board Ronan for 2 days. This was my first time using Rover and Kate put me and my old pup at ease immediately with her calming presence. She sent photo and video updates of Ronan having long walks on the beach and time in her yard and house. When I picked him up he was so relaxed and comfortable with her, I think he would have happily stayed several more days! I would definitely book with her again.

Katherine was great. She and Maddy bonded immediately. Maddie enjoyed walks on the beach and lots of attention. She sent pictures. I would highly recommend her!

Kate is an animal lover through and through. She has cared for my adult male German Shepard as well as my cats. She prioritizes long walks with the dogs and spends lots of personal time inside with the animals in her care. Her home is their home. You could not find a more trustworthy person to leave your pet with. My German Shepard adores her and melts in her presence.
