“Chris is wonderful and is very attentive to your fur babies needs. You will get photos and details of the visit which gives you assurance your pet is well taken care of.”

“It was easy to setup care for Meow with Danielle. She was also very easy to talk to and made sure Meow was well taken care of while we were away. She kept us updated and reached out if she had any questions. Thank you, Danielle!”

“Remy has been so helpful! My dogs absolutely adore her. I have a new rescue who is very timid towards people and Remy was able to become friends with her very quickly. I work long hours so she comes and gives them some time in the yard to help break up the day.”

“Audrey was an amazing! She worked with our four dogs to let them out during the families wedding weekend. She came twice a day, and followed feeding directions great! Very patient with the stressed bride and mother of bride. She sent photos and kept us updated the entire time!”

About: Personalized Dog Boarding & One-on-One Care 🐕 One Dog—or One Household—at a Time 🐾 I’ve raised and cared for animals my entire life—from two wonderful Staffordshire Bull Terriers to cats and even a Scarlet Macaw. Over the years, I’ve learned that every animal has their own personality, routine, and needs. That’s why I keep my boarding intentionally small. I care for just one dog at a time, unless the dogs are from the same household. This means your pup gets my full attention in a calm home environment, without off-leash interaction with unfamiliar dogs. What Your Dog Can Expect 🐕 3–4 walks per day, tailored to their energy level and routine 🏡 A calm, comfortable home environment 👀 Close, attentive supervision throughout their stay 🥾 Local walks or valley hikes upon request ❤️ Personalized care based on your dog’s personality, habits, and needs My goal is simple: to make your dog feel comfortable, cared for, and at home while you’re away. Before Booking We’ll start with a quick conversation about your dog’s temperament, routine, exercise needs, and anything else that will help me provide the best care. If it feels like a good fit, we’ll schedule a meet & greet so your pup can meet me, explore the space, and get comfortable before their stay. Rates Rates are tailored to your dog’s individual needs, routine, and level of care. For repeat clients, we can establish a consistent rate that works comfortably for both of us. Every dog is different. Every stay is personalized. Dedicated Full-Time Dog Care When your dog stays with me, they’re never just left alone. Caring for dogs is my full-time job, and I provide around-the-clock supervision. Other than a brief trip for essentials, your pup has my full attention day and night. Because every dog has different needs, rates may vary. Some pups require more time, energy, or structure, and in those cases the rate is adjusted to reflect the additional supervision or management needed to keep them safe and comfortable. This ensures every dog receives the right level of care — and gives you the confidence that your furry friend is being looked after as if they were my own. Safe & Secure Environment My home has a fully fenced backyard, built and maintained with safety in mind. After raising two strong alpha dogs here for 17 years, I made sure the fencing is secure and reliable. Dogs always get supervised time outside — I never just leave them unattended in the yard.
About: Hi there! My name is Evelyn and I’ve been a pet sitter for over 10 years. It’s an absolute pleasure to care for animals! I’ve cared for all sorts of breeds in all different sizes, anything from a Chihuahua puppy to a Great Dane! I’ve also worked with senior and special needs pups including new born puppies! They’re such a joy! I love taking pups on hikes, dog parks, dog beaches, etc. You name it! It’s a great way to get exercise and meet new friends! I always make sure to carry water with me on walks and communicate with the owner on how their pup is doing! I know it can be hard to be away from your companion sometimes, so for all the overprotective parents out there, don’t worry, I’m your pups personal body guard & photographer! :) I make sure to send extra updates on top of the daily updates. :) I understand some pups/cats have special needs such as medication or have tramas/triggers, and I can certainly provide that modification to fit their needs. I’ll make sure your furry friend gets enough exercise, is fully hydrated (especially during the summer!) and most importantly that they get all the love and attention in the world!! Looking forward to meeting you and your best friend! First time here? Get $20 off your first booking using code EVELYG16784, https://www.rover.com/sit/evelyg16784 (Don’t worry if you choose a different sitter, this code works for all bookings!) My schedule is very flexible! I’m a full time Rover sitter, dog trainer and groomer! I work from home so they will never be left unattended! Safety is my number one priority! I always make sure your pup/cat is comfortable with me so I can understand their behavior, whether their nervous or timid, in case there was ever a situation where they would run away. For safety precautions I have a fenced yard and a metal gate around the fenced yard for extra security. I also hook up a Apple air tag for dogs on their leash/collar in case of emergencies where we will be able to track them. I do want assure you that pets are NEVER left unsupervised!

I love loving on them :)) I am currently working part-time and am a stay at home mom so I have plenty of time to take care of your animals and make them the top priority. It gives me something to do and I get to love on animals. A win win 🥹 with my part time job I am able to work around a schedule!! It allows me to ensure your pet gets the best quality care. I never have much going on so it would work so well to come and see your babies! Everything is extremely important to me as well. Weather it’s as little as throwing a ball or as important as it is to follow their routine. It’s very important that’s my priority to ensure amazing quality care. It also helps me put a little extra money in my pocket for me and my daughter so it’s my priority to make sure your pet has the best experience! I want you to come back and feel trusted your animals are safe❤️ I know for every animal they definitely have to get used to you. Weather it’s quick or takes a minute I’m good with being patient and not spooking them. Making them feel comfortable! It’s HUGE to me that your pets feel safe. I always want to provide an experience that makes them and you feel comfortable. I want to take the time to make your pet feel safe so that your pets feel incredibly loved and safe. It’s important to me to build a bond and especially if you’re going to be a repeat client I want to establish that trust and safety while providing lots of loves ❤️!! I also want to follow any tips you have to better care for your pets. Whatever is needed I will do. I just love animals and making them feel safe is my main priority!
About: I grew up with a constant menagerie of pets. When I still lived in my hometown with my mom and dad, we had a farm with more than 10 dogs and 7 cats. My job everyday was to take care of them and feed them, and I spent a lot of time playing around with them too, while my mom and dad were working so I’m very comfortable around all types of animals. I’m also a stay-at-home wife, so without other concerns during the day, your critters get my full attention! I love dogs and cats and have never met one I didn’t like or even that didn’t like me. I love earning an animal’s trust, showing them love, that they can trust me, and making them comfortable in my home. I have also spent a lot of time around a big variety of different dog breeds as well, and know how to handle them all; their activity and energy level, general personality types and their needs. Also, I have some knowledge about the best animal nutrition practices and am mindful of that when caring for your critters. I am 23 years old, so still energetic enough to match the young ones and puppies, who are of course always full of energy and always in that adorable, excited mood, which is very welcome in my home. Besides walking, I’ve created some pretty fun games for dogs that can help burn up some energy too! With senior dogs, I know how to make them comfortable and maintain a calm, quiet and caring environment for them with lots of dog bed spread around the house. When you trust me to let me take care of your dogs, you absolutely don't have any problems to worry about. I can promise that your dogs will have the best care and always be free to be themselves without worry, stress, or fear in my home. I am a full-time housewife, so pet care IS my weekly routine! Besides the usual house chores, I have plenty of time to give full attention to your furry loved ones. All day long, every single day, you can drop off your dogs at my home (my husband is just as much of an animal love as I am, and a business owner, so if he’s off he’ll be just as happy to have them as guest as I am!). Your dogs are welcome to sleep over at our house every single day of the week, until you get back from business trips or vacations. Food, water, a bed to sleep in and freshly cleaned toys to play with between sittings; our home can be theirs whenever needed. I can be available three days per week to come to your house overnight to take care of your dogs in their own home if you wish, as long as our schedules line up. With food: If you give me any food for your dogs when you drop them at my home, I will follow any routine and recipe you have laid out, being considerate of diet issues. If you’re more relaxed about diet concerns and don’t mind me spoiling them a bit I might treat them to a rice, chicken or fish and olive oil treat, which is a veterinarian favorite for good canine health, and dogs always tend to love it! (I keep these on hand and their made with no seasonings or flavorings at all). However, make sure you give me any information about your dogs health, diet and allergy concerns, before hand. In the yard: I do have a yard with a fence where your dogs can run around and play a bit or relieve themselves, but I use it sparingly and usually just do walks outside. (I do not have any plants in the yard that can cause harm to dogs.) Parks and trails: From my home to the end of the road I live on, about a one minute walk, I have access to a park that I’ll sometimes take dogs to. If your dogs are sociable and you don’t have concerns with them having run ins with other dogs or children then they might gets some social time that way. Let me know if these are concerns and we will keep them at the house. If your dogs are not socialized, I can take them for walks on the trail away from others, or not. Just let me know. With environment: I have no children, no pets, so your dogs will not have to face any territorial or child terrorism issues of any kind. If you prefer, I can keep your dogs privately kenneled while with me or allow them freedom to move about the house and socialize with me. If you don't say anything, I prefer to give your dogs freedom to roam around in my home and lounge wherever they like. They are allowed to stay on the couch or the bed, which is fine with me, but if you have them trained not to, just let me know and I will stop them. If there are any other training concerns or restrictions, don’t hesitate to let me know and I will maintain those both firmly and gently!
About: Hi, I’m Brooklyn! I’m an experienced and dependable pet sitter with three dogs of my own, and I know how stressful it can be to leave your pets when you travel. I often work with clients who are out of town and want someone they can fully trust. I’m attentive to routines, medications, feeding schedules, and exercise needs, and I always treat your home with care and respect. You’ll receive consistent updates, photos, and quick responses—so you never have to worry. My goal is simple: happy pets and complete peace of mind while you’re away. Pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine. I structure my schedule to prioritize the pets I’m caring for, ensuring they receive consistent attention, exercise, and companionship throughout the day. Because I’m organized and intentional with my time, I’m able to stick closely to each pet’s established routine—whether that includes walks, feedings, playtime, medications, or check-ins. I don’t rush visits, and I make sure every pet feels comfortable, safe, and cared for. Caring for animals is something I truly enjoy, and I treat every booking with the same level of commitment and responsibility as I would my own pets. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priority. I follow care instructions closely, keep pets secure at all times, and maintain a clean, calm environment. I communicate consistently and treat every pet and home with respect and care.
About: I am a huge animal lover and have cared for my own and other people pets since I was young. Although I am a Colorado native, I just moved back to the US from Australia and brought my fur babies back with me (that's why I do not have any testimonies yet, but give me a shot and you won't be disspointed.) I have stayed over at neighbors and family friends houses with their dogs and cats. This included cleaning of the animal waste and all around house care. I have also been in charge of stopping in multiple times daily. I know and respect animals cues telling us what they need. I will always think of their safety as a top priority. I am a teacher as well so I am constantly looking for risks and how to keep everyone safe. I own my own dog and cat and know how important they are and how much love and attention they need. I have experience with all sizes of dogs. I grew up with small dogs, however my dog is a large lab golden retriver mix I am currently available at all times as I am a qulified teacher, hiwever just moved and.just subbstituting currently when available. Currently I have open availability. I am able to walk or come over everyday and need to be booked for boarding in advance depending on my school.schedule.However this too can be changeable. I have experience providing care in mine and other people's homes. I am available to stop in when and as often as required, I am also available to have dogs and cats boarded overnight for trips. I walk my dogs daily and I am an avid hiker (my dogs will not be at the house while your animals are with me to.keep your pet safe and worry as minimal as possible). I can take small little walks or walk for long periods of time or multiple walks a day if a dog requires extra walking. My home is a town home, with a patio and fake lawn made for pets that is fenced in.

As of September 2026, there are 1,888 sitters on Rover offering Cat Sitting across Deckers. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Deckers. On Rover:
- 93% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 96% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 97% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
