Daymee is very reliable, responsible and trustworthy, but the best thing is how she understands my pup’s personality. He could not be happier the second he sees her and she knows exactly how to manage his excitement for a great experience. I recommend her highly and will use no one else as long as she is available!

Brenda was excellent! We were shocked that immediately Milo responded so positively to her. He is a very nervous dog and does not usually go up to people and normally barks at them. Milo did none of the above with Brenda and went right up to her and sniffed her then laid at her feet while we had a conversation. At the end of the visit he even brought her one of his toys to play with. I will definitely be using her in the future for all our dog walking needs. I highly recommend her!

About: I have always had a dog in every phase of my life. I currently have a small black mutt who is 5, loves other dogs, and is very social. I have adopted a 13 year old chihuahua and kept her for a wonderful 5 years before she passed over the rainbow bridge. My fiancé has always had dogs as well and loves them all, more than most humans. We thoroughly enjoy meeting new dogs and learning their personalities! I pride myself in being trustworthy and consistent. I am currently home full time and have a ton of flexibility. I have plenty of time for stop ins, walks, and boarding. I know how grateful I am as a pet owner when I have help, and I’m excited to offer that to you all! I live in a two bedroom apartment with a specious living area. Plenty of room to get on the floor and play tug of war! I live near paved trails and love to take advantage of them frequently throughout the day with my dog. There’s also fenced in grass fields within walking distance for dogs that need extra room to roam. I love getting my steps in and also can easily stop in to let your dog out during a long work day!

About: Hi all! While I am currently working as an animal care professional, I have always been involved with caring for animals in and around the home. Whether it’s been personal pets, or those of friends and family, caring for animals is one of many things I am passionate about. I have my own two cats at the moment, and have raised one puppy growing up who’s still my family’s beautiful best friend. Being responsible for these sweet little critters, I fully understand the stress of having to find proper care when you need to travel for any reason. In terms of others’ pets, I have mainly cared for domestics such as dogs and cats but have even had a family with some goats and a pot-bellied pig. In terms of my professional career, I have been in the zoo field for about 3 years. From experience at multiple zoos, I have worked with animals as small as tarantulas to as large as bears. In that time, I have been able to learn to care for a plethora of taxa including (but not limited to): small-large birds, mammals, and reptiles from all over the world. This field requires an extreme passion and dedication toward learning to properly care for every aspect of an animals daily life and routine. There’s no shortcuts when caring for the zoo animals, and I will take no short cuts with yours. The zoo field has also introduced me to the world of animal training . While not a certified trainer (yet), I have a deep passion for animal behavior and learning how to teach animals to be consenting participants in their own care. So while I won’t be training any of your pets, I am happy to work with any and all animals despite any behaviors that could be labeled as “difficult.” All of your critters deserve to be cared for properly when you’re not home, and I would be glad to provide that necessary peace of mind. Feel free to reach out with any questions! I am currently employed full-time from Fri-Tues. While that’s the general schedule, my work requires a lot of flexibility so it is subject to change. However, that flexibility means I am open to flexible homes. I am mainly looking to keep busy and help out on my weekend, but would be happy to oblige crime opportunities on other days if possible. While my home is unfortunately not available to take in your pets at the moment, I do care for some pets of my own. I have two beautiful cats that love to keep me busy in between their naps. Knowing how much I stress about their care when I’m gone, I will make sure to follow any rules you have for your pets and your homes. My kitties do have a great setup to be happy and healthy if I need to be out of the home for extended periods. As such, I am happy to help with extended stays as needed.

Monica was amazing! This was my first experience with Rover and it could not have been better! Monica is so wonderful. She went above and beyond to walk Koda even in the rain! She also took a lot of time to give attention to my cat! My animals loved her and I loved all the photos. I think my dog keeps waiting for her at my door since I got home!:) we could not have had a better, kinder person to take care of our babies. We were able to enjoy our trip knowing my pets were so well taken care of. Highly recommend Monica! You and your pets will love her!! Thank you so much for a perfect experience!!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
