About: Hi there — I'm a lifelong dog lover based in Daytona Beach, FL, with years of hands-on experience caring for dogs through rescue, fostering, and my own home. I'd love to be the person your pup looks forward to seeing. Personal Experience I've shared my home with dogs continuously since 2017, so daily walks, feeding routines, playtime, and all the little quirks of dog ownership are second nature to me. Rescue and Volunteer Experience • Dog walker at Ramapo-Bergen Animal Refuge — walking shelter dogs of all sizes, breeds, and energy levels. • Dog walker at Great Pyrenees Rescue of Atlanta — comfortable handling large and giant breeds with confidence and calm leash control. • Foster for Bernese Mountain Dog Rescue — providing in-home care, daily exercise, and a safe transition for dogs awaiting adoption. • Foster transport coordinator for Golden Retriever Rescue of Mid-Florida — organizing safe, low-stress transport for dogs on their way to forever homes. What I Bring to Every Walk and Visit • A calm, patient approach with anxious, shy, or high-energy dogs • Strong leash skills and awareness of canine body language • Reliable, on-time arrivals and clear communication with owners • Photo and video updates so you can see your dog enjoying their day • Comfort handling puppies, seniors, and dogs with medical or behavioral needs I am available seven days a week — mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekdays, weekends, and holidays. Flexible scheduling for one-time walks, regular routines, or last-minute requests. I treat every dog like my own — whether that means a brisk adventure walk, a sniff-filled stroll, or simply quiet company and a belly rub. Your dog's safety, happiness, and routine are my top priorities.

About: I have always had a dog in every phase of my life. I currently have a small black mutt who is 5, loves other dogs, and is very social. I have adopted a 13 year old chihuahua and kept her for a wonderful 5 years before she passed over the rainbow bridge. My fiancé has always had dogs as well and loves them all, more than most humans. We thoroughly enjoy meeting new dogs and learning their personalities! I pride myself in being trustworthy and consistent. I am currently home full time and have a ton of flexibility. I have plenty of time for stop ins, walks, and boarding. I know how grateful I am as a pet owner when I have help, and I’m excited to offer that to you all! I live in a two bedroom apartment with a specious living area. Plenty of room to get on the floor and play tug of war! I live near paved trails and love to take advantage of them frequently throughout the day with my dog. There’s also fenced in grass fields within walking distance for dogs that need extra room to roam. I love getting my steps in and also can easily stop in to let your dog out during a long work day!

Brenda was excellent! We were shocked that immediately Milo responded so positively to her. He is a very nervous dog and does not usually go up to people and normally barks at them. Milo did none of the above with Brenda and went right up to her and sniffed her then laid at her feet while we had a conversation. At the end of the visit he even brought her one of his toys to play with. I will definitely be using her in the future for all our dog walking needs. I highly recommend her!

Randa is the BEST. I can always count on her - even in the time pinch. And Daks (my Terrier Mix) loves her. Daks had a trust issue from a previous adoption, but Randa took the time and patience to overcome it and to help her regain Daks' trust. Rebook Randa 100%.

Monica was amazing! This was my first experience with Rover and it could not have been better! Monica is so wonderful. She went above and beyond to walk Koda even in the rain! She also took a lot of time to give attention to my cat! My animals loved her and I loved all the photos. I think my dog keeps waiting for her at my door since I got home!:) we could not have had a better, kinder person to take care of our babies. We were able to enjoy our trip knowing my pets were so well taken care of. Highly recommend Monica! You and your pets will love her!! Thank you so much for a perfect experience!!

I live with my Australian Cattle Dog, Spooky, and we love welcoming new friends into our home. Whether your baby needs snuggles, a play buddy or a friend to help them adjust, I am here to provide loving care. Since I work from home I can be with your fur baby 24/7. I create a calm, safe, and loving environment where they feel happy. About: Hi! I’ve worked with animals for most of my life, from reptiles to dogs, and I’m passionate about providing the best possible care for every pet. As an animal enthusiast currently working at PetSmart, I have hands-on experience caring for a variety of species and understanding their unique needs. I also have experience with basic grooming and bathing, and I spend my free time learning and practicing dog training techniques while working toward certification. I consider it a privilege whenever someone trusts me with their beloved pet, and I strive to treat every animal as if they were my own. While I am not a veterinarian, I ask that you please inform me of any medical conditions, medications, allergies, behavioral concerns, or special care requirements your pet may have so I can provide the safest and most comfortable experience possible. I currently work part-time, so I’m usually available until 4:00 PM. If you’re looking to book outside of those hours, don’t hesitate to ask—I’m happy to discuss options and can often make arrangements. I’m also usually available all day on Sundays and Mondays! Away from home care: I have a fenced-in yard and a friendly, gentle Norwegian Elkhound who loves the company of other dogs. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities, so I never leave pets in the care of strangers while they’re with me. I’m confident in my ability to read animal body language and recognize when a pet may need play, attention, rest, or space to help keep them comfortable and stress-free. For pets who are anxious or prefer their own space, I have a cozy crate available as a safe retreat. Thanks to my experience with my own dog, I also have a variety of harnesses, toys, and treats designed to help pets feel relaxed, comfortable, and at home. If I ever notice anything concerning about your pet’s health, behavior, or well-being, I will contact you immediately so we can address it together. At home care: I pride myself on being punctual and reliable for every appointment, and I’ll always greet you and your pet with a smile. I appreciate when owners provide a list of important information about their pet, including their routine, preferences, and favorite activities, so I can give them the best possible care. You can trust me to respect your home, stay out of any areas you don’t permit access to, and keep a close eye on your pet at all times. If I ever notice anything concerning about your pet’s health, behavior, or well-being, I will contact you immediately so we can address it together.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
