About: I am open to most pets. Cats, Dogs, Horses, Calves, Lambs, Guinea Pigs, Turtles, etc..... If extra special care or out of state, I do charge travel fees. I do have experience with older pets and young ones. I have been known to raise Opossums from the size of mice to adults. If that gives you an idea! I am open to new proposals and willing to negotiate new situations! (Unencountered situations when it comes to pets) I also House-sit, plants, pets etc... I do travel out of state to Illinois (Mostly the North suburbs of Chicago) and Wisconsin. This is where I have done house-sitting. Pets and Plants can be included in this care. I do add travel expenses, mainly for gas, when traveling for house sitting. I get up in the morning and get my coffee going and then tend to pets that are around. They get fed first thing, inside and outside. Feral cats seem to be present in the morning. Litter boxes are checked. Water Bowls. Mostly I go to people's homes and care for the pets at their houses, but I have had people bring them to me. I have an extra room set up in my barn if there are anxieties or stress with animals and they need a quiet place. I am in the process of updating that room a little more. It is heated for the winter months. I do have hand brushes and combs for extra attention and I do go talk to whoever is around. If dogs come, they can be walked. Although I live in a small town, I am close to nice places to walk on the edge of town.

About: I've owned my own dogs and cats for 10+ years and have gone through a dog training course with our youngest, most active dog. I'm comfortable around a sizes and breeds of animals. About: I have been an independent pet sitter for 17 plus years. I have plenty of experience with cats, dogs and other small critters. I have been very passionate in my love of animals for many years and all of my pets mean the world to me. While working in the vet office I learned how to medicate cats as well as how to give subcutaneous fluids. I have worked in various animal related fields for over a decade including vet offices, shelters, grooming facilities, pet stores and pet sitting. All animals are fascinating to me and I enjoy learning about the different types of care they all need. I live in Galena IL and am willing to cover all surrounding areas 😸 Pet sitting is my main job and my schedule is currently open. I'm looking to build my local client base and earn your trust :) I will care for pets in the clients own home. I will follow the care instructions provided for each pet. About: I’ve had a dogs in my life, since I was a child, and was introduced to cats as I ventured into the collegiate life. As an adult I have cared for dogs primarily, but recently had the opportunity to take care of the sweetest cats! I am fairly patient with pets and like to give them as much space as they like to try to not mess up the routines, but if they are balls of energy and cuddle bugs, I am more than happy to comply! I believe that walks and healthy roaming space is good for a dog’s, development and energy, and respecting a cat to make the first move to ensure respect and comfort to their environment. Hi! I’m a full-time high school interpreter and a lifelong animal lover. During the school year, I spend my days helping students thrive in the classroom — and now that summer’s here, I’m excited to dedicate my time to caring for your pets! I like doing research on the neighborhoods that I’m going into if it’s a new area, and like to understand what you have available, either a dog park, or a fenced backyard, to really understand how to best care for your dog. My dog is a big ball of energy so I have learned a lot of skills to be able to make sure that they stay in their assigned spaces, I do like to keep them with me on my lap as I work, or nearby letting them enjoy a nap.

About: I grew up on a dairy farm so I’ve been around animals my whole life, where my passion for animals began. Growing up we had a family dog, yellow lab named Ryley. In 2016 I got my first blue heeler named Creek. Then last year I added my second blue heeler / border collie mix named Gator. My dogs are my life. My sister also has 3 dogs of her own and together you’ll see in my pictures that my sister and I are both very active with our dogs! I love training my dogs , going for walks/hikes, and doing dog sports with them. I’d love to help your pets by taking them for walks and getting some cute pictures of them for you! Photography is a side hobby of mine as well! I currently work part time to full time in Madison. I have flexibility with my schedule during the week days and would love to be able to help get your pups a good walk / enrichment in throughout the day! I would ensure to walk your dogs however you prefer with collar/ leash or harness / leash combo. My dogs do well with their collars/leash during controlled city walking and use harness during hikes.

Nora S.Star Sitter
“Nora took care of our cats on site at our home (both barn and house pets) for two weeks very recently while we were on vacation. The cars were almost sad to see us return because she loved on them better than we do!!! Lol. Nora dealt with unforseen events as if they were her pets. We fully-recommend her and will definitely use her again as we travel often.”

Kayla L.
“Kayla is a true animal lover. From her own pets, to volunteering at rescue centers and saving small animals that need help from the DNR when she has found them. Her own personal pets are her second children. She will go above and beyond to ensure they are healthy and safe. She is a very responsible pet owner herself and always makes sure her pets have the proper care they need prior to any trips or times she needs to step away from her own home. I know she will provide the same care and passion to other pets that she would watch over and show they same love and support they deserve.”

Alisha J.
“Alisha took wonderful care of our 6 cats while we were away for almost 3 weeks. She was aware that I’m a nervous pet parent so she took the time to send me pictures and updates on our babies daily. It made me so comfortable knowing that someone who is as caring and thoughtful as she is was there. When we got back the litter boxes were in great shape and the house looked like no one had even been there. We plan to hire her again the next time we take an extended trip!”

Jessica S.

“Jessica has been walking our dog for over a year. She is great with him and he gets so excited when she arrives. We have also had drop in visits that helped us out. Highly recommend her services.”

Brianne B.
“Brianne, as a person, is one of the most responsible, caring, and compassionate people I know. I’ve known her to be nothing but kind, patient, and empathetic, not only with pets, but with people. I’ve witnessed her interact with her own pets as well as my own, and I trust her implicitly to provide them with the safety, comfort, and the care they need—such she has done in the past when I’ve been out of town, even just for the day. I have no doubts this would extend to a position with Rover. I feel as though I can confidently say neither I, nor any mutual friend we have, could ever say a bad thing about her, because it genuinely is too good to be true how amazing of a human being she is. I’m lucky to call her a friend, and while the words can’t be physically said, I assure the same is felt by the furry friends in her life.”

Mikayla N.
“Mikayla is my sister and she is the BEST with my two dogs. Anytime I have needed her help she is always there and she is a responsible and loving caretaker! You can most definitely trust her to care for your pets and have peace of mind that they’re in the most secure hands ❤️”

“Lexi is one of the best people I know. Both in terms of a friend and a pet owner. Her pets (dogs, rats, and a bunny) are very well taken care of and so loved. She is caring and compassionate to both the humans and animals in her life. She is one of the only people I trust with my pets when I am gone.
