About: I have cared for puppies and senior dogs within a doggy daycare setting. I have administered medication/insulin. I always make sure they use their energy. I currently am working part time at a doggy daycare. So I will have plenty of time to make sure your animals are cared for. About: I’ve grown up around dogs my entire life and have been hands-on with daily care, including walking, feeding, and companionship. About: I have been an independent pet sitter for 18 plus years. I have plenty of experience with cats, dogs and other small critters. I have been very passionate in my love of animals for many years and all of my pets mean the world to me. I have spent time volunteering in shelters for pet care as we as medical care and have spent time working as a vet assistant as well. While working in the vet office I learned how to medicate cats as well as how to give subcutaneous fluids. I have worked in various animal related fields for over a decade including vet offices, shelters, grooming facilities, pet stores and pet sitting. All animals are fascinating to me and I enjoy learning about the different types of care they all need. About: I am open to most pets. Cats, Dogs, Horses, Calves, Lambs, Guinea Pigs, Turtles, etc..... If extra special care or out of state, I do charge travel fees. I do have experience with older pets and young ones. I have been known to raise Opossums from the size of mice to adults. If that gives you an idea! I am open to new proposals and willing to negotiate new situations! (Unencountered situations when it comes to pets) I also House-sit, plants, pets etc... I do travel out of state to Illinois (Mostly the North suburbs of Chicago) and Wisconsin. This is where I have done house-sitting. Pets and Plants can be included in this care. I do add travel expenses, mainly for gas, when traveling for house sitting. I get up in the morning and get my coffee going and then tend to pets that are around. They get fed first thing, inside and outside. Feral cats seem to be present in the morning. Litter boxes are checked. Water Bowls. Mostly I go to people's homes and care for the pets at their houses, but I have had people bring them to me. I have an extra room set up in my barn if there are anxieties or stress with animals and they need a quiet place. I am in the process of updating that room a little more. It is heated for the winter months. I do have hand brushes and combs for extra attention and I do go talk to whoever is around. If dogs come, they can be walked. Although I live in a small town, I am close to nice places to walk on the edge of town.
