12. Kami H.
About: Hello, I'm Kami! I've been an animal-lover all my life. At age four, my family adopted our first dog, a German Shepard mix breed I named Chevy, who became my lifelong protector and companion. During my teenage years, I provided pet-care for friends, family, and neighbors. This led me to my first job at a doggy daycare-Camp Bow Wow in Cedar Rapids, where I worked with dogs with a wide range of sizes and temperaments. My experience and knowledge makes me confident in ensuring your pets will receive the care and attention they deserve; no job too big or small! When you entrust your pets to me, you can rest assured that they'll be treated as if they were my own. I believe in open and transparent communication, so you'll receive regular updates on your pet's well-being while you're away. Whether it's ensuring they get their medications, exercise, or cuddle time, I'm committed to maintaining their routines and keeping them happy. Reach out to me today so we can discuss how I can provide the upmost care and attention to your beloved furry family members! I currently work part time, and have open availability weekday mornings and early afternoon, evenings after 6pm, and open weekend availability to care for your pets. I am well accustomed to any & all different personalities, types, & quirks, and am always patient and understanding with each individual pet, which helps me to build trust and strong bonds. Each of my clients' pets are always treated like one of my own!

“Throughout our time at Iowa State, I’ve seen how dedicated Maddi is to the animals she cares for. She treats every pet like it’s her own and provides exceptional care and support. I’ve trusted her with my pets and am left extremely satisfied with their care every time. She provided me with pictures, asked questions in case she was unsure about something, and constantly updated me to provide a a sense of ease. I HIGHLY recommend considering Maddi as your pet caregiver :)”
14. Derek P.
About: I have been taking care of pets since I was 9 years old. Ever since my dog Daisy died when I was in High School I have been jumping at the opportunity to care of my friends and families pets. It is always the highlight of my day to visit the different pets and I would almost say I like to see my families pets more then my actual family. I work from home full time and always have time during breaks and right after work to fit in a walk or visit for food. On the weekends I have more time to do multiple visits and walks. I have usually gone to my friends houses but my apartment does allow pets so I could take care of them here too. My apartment easy access to safe walking and a place for the bathroom.
15. Connie P.
“Connie is great with our two active Australian Shepherds! She is more than willing to exercise them, and love on them while we are away. Connie’s dog, Ava, is super friendly and they all get along great! Connie is also happy to accommodate our unique feeding protocol for our dogs and we haven’t had a single issue. We would recommend Connie to anyone who needs responsible and trustworthy dog care!”
16. Alisha L.
“Alisha was so amazing with our pup! Highly recommend her!!”
17. Melanie A.
About: I am a full time caregiver irl, and I have the patience to take care of animals also! I have dog sat an entire weekend, and try my hardest to follow owners special instructions. I work full time but I consider myself flexible in scheduling. I usually am off weekends and odd days during the week with evenings free. I try my hardest to follow owners special instructions if I’m at your home. I do have my own home, and a beautiful neighborhood to walk your pet in.
18. Emma S.
About: I have been taking care of pets since I was 10. I grew up with multiple cats to care for and have been a dog owner for 11 years. I have experience with puppies/kittens, as well as seniors who may have medical needs. I am also capable of handling high energy pets and households with multiples. I do work full-time (M-F) but have a flexible schedule. I have time in the mornings, and after 5 during the weekdays to care for your pets, and times during the day. Most weekends are very open. I know all pet parents have different rules/expectations, so I am open and happy to follow your lead on how you would need things done. I have a senior dog who is used to no crate, taking full advantage of the couches and beds :) and enjoys moderate length walks. I have had him since he was a puppy, so I am able to provide long walks, exercise time outside and crating if need be.
