About: I'm a true animal lover with tons of patience and experience. I have 3 dogs at home and they are my best friends. I rescued Maggie when she was a year old 9 years ago, and raised my 2 Shiba Inu boys from puppies. I used to have 1 cat as well but she passed away due to old age. I work from home so I'm fairly flexible. I recently move to Burr Ridge area and I'm hoping to take advantage of my work from home situation and provide some help to people with a busy work schedule. My home is a single family house sitting on nearly an acer with a fully fenced backyard. So the dogs have plenty of space to run around safely.

“Katie has become my go to sitter and has watched my pup several times now. Initially I chose her because she is home during the day. My shih tzu has some anxiety issues when left alone but if someone is around he is generally pretty low maintenance. This last time, which was a longer stay (about a week) she really went above and beyond. Fergus got hurt the night before I was supposed to drop him with Katie. She was flexible in working with me to get him to the vet (I was able to fit it into my schedule before leaving town) and managing the meds he was given. The first few days I was gone he had a bad reaction to one of the meds that upset his stomach that caused him to not eat and subsequently get sick from not eating. Katie kept me updated every step of the way and was flexible as I talked to the vet and relayed their info. She also went out of her way to get my pups favorite food to help him to take his meds and eat his meals. By the time I got back, she had taken great care of him and he was clearly starting to feel better and act more himself. I am so glad he was someone I can trust and who was so communicative.”
