About: I grew up with my family’s various rescue cats and dogs, so I’ve always been an animal lover. Since childhood, I’ve also enjoyed pet sitting for friends, family members, and neighbors whenever I’ve had the opportunity to do so. I’ve mainly looked after cats and dogs, but I also have experience caring for birds, rabbits, guinea pigs, horses, and a couple of different types of lizards. I have some experience with training my family’s pets, and lots of experience with giving love to animals of all kinds! I donate 5% of my profits from each Rover booking towards humane societies and animal rescue organizations. I’m currently a full-time college student, so the remainder of the money I make on Rover is set aside and used to afford care for my own cat. During the school year, I’m a full-time student at the University of Vermont and, when I’m not in classes or doing Rover visits, I’m often spending time with my own cat! I spend summers, and most other school breaks, at home with my family in IL. This summer will be my third year working part-time as an inclusion aid for children with disabilities and special needs in summer camps. My weekday mornings are spent there, but the rest of my schedule is more flexible, so I’m looking forward to doing more afternoon and evening Rover visits! I recognize that every animal is unique and has their own wants and needs, and it’s important to me to ensure that your pet is as comfortable, happy, and healthy as they can be while you’re away! I’m happy to follow any instructions you have to care for your pet and your home.
