About: Hello! I am new to Rover but I have been working with animals all my life from a very young age and I have been pet sitting for about 4 years. There were always pets in the home, mostly dogs and cats all my life and I have thorough experience being around animals and knowing how to take care of them. I took a major part in taking care of the puppies that my family bred most of my childhood, I have experience in working with a variety of animals such as dogs, cats, reptiles, roosters/chickens, horses, guinea pigs, etc. Besides working with my own pets I have been pet sitting for around 4 years now and have become very comfortable woking with other peoples pets. I pride myself on my attention to detail and focus on making sure your pet/pets are as comfortable as possible. I am currently a student but most of my classes are online so I am very flexible and available pretty much every day of the week currently. About: I have been around animals my entire life. I have worked with all kinds of sizes, temperaments, and personalities. I currently volunteer with the ARLGP, and love the skills I learn every day from the dogs and other animals there. Whether your dog is the easiest to walk, or needs some special attention (and strength!), I am here to help! Your pets may come back with better manners than when they left :) I am a business owner, and am often home at my property in Topsham enjoying the sunshine or local trails with them. Despite my own travel, my schedule is incredibly open and flexible! We have a small portion of our yard that has a light fence, we usually just walk the dogs or take them to the nearby dog park. Our little guy is an ex-escape artist, so we are always double checking, paying attention, and increasing security on walks / outings! Safety is a huge priority!

Growing up I also pet sat for birds, snakes, dogs, cats, and fish as well as worked on a horse farm for two summers. My own personal dog is a senior lad at the age of 14 years and have a kitten at home. Ive worked with puppies, adult dogs, and senior pups, kitten and full grown cats. I love to spend time playing and petting them (if thats what they want) and will do my best to love them a fraction of what you do to keep them happy while you’re away! I work in Portland until 4pm every week day and get back to the area around 5. I would be free to care for your pets from around 5:30pm-6:20am. I can feed, walk, brush, pet, and/or play with any of the animals you may have tailoring to whatever best suits their needs, I am an animal lover and want to best support the critters in any way I can in your absence.
