This was our first experience with Rover and, most importantly, Candi. This was also the first time we have had someone (other than a family member) pet sit our now 14 month old Havanese. We had a meet and greet with Candi several days prior to our overnight trip. Given that visit, Candi’s background, and our meeting with Candi before the trip, we had no worries while on the trip. It is nearly impossible that someone could be more qualified in every way to pet and house sit for us. Candi kept us up to date during the trip (pics and texts). Candi gave us a wonderful report of how the visit went when we returned. And our little pup has a new friend. When we arrived at the door, our pup ran to us (as we expected). However, she ALSO kept running back to Candi with her tail wagging with great joy!

Candi is a wonderful sitter! My dog enjoys hikes and snuggles with her and she takes great care of the house too!

Candi is the best dog sitter we have ever had, and that is truly the highest compliment! We have adopted many dogs over the years, many of whom were seniors with health issues. For that reason, it can be difficult to find a dog sitter who can give them the level of care they need. When we returned from our recent trip out of town, our normally anxious Chloe was completely calm and happy. Working with Candi feels like you're leaving your furbaby with your closest family. Candi cared for our dogs in our home for seven days, and we were very pleased with the care she provided. She followed their routines closely and adhered to their feeding schedules, medications, and complex care needs. She was professional, punctual, and dependable, which allowed us to truly relax and enjoy our trip knowing our dogs were in good hands. One of our dogs is a paralyzed French Bulldog who requires specialized care, including regular bladder expressions and assistance with getting in and out of her wheelchair on a strict schedule. Candi handled these responsibilities with care and consistency, giving us confidence that our dog’s unique needs were being met. It was clear our dogs were loved and well cared for while we were away, and we returned to an immaculate home. The only feedback we would offer is that we would have appreciated more frequent daily updates and photos throughout our trip. Overall, we would absolutely hire Candi again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, compassionate, and reliable pet sitter.

Candi took great care of our three rescue dogs and home while we were away. Our three dogs all have very different personalities and care requirements, so finding someone who can confidently meet each of their individual needs is incredibly important to us. Our youngest dog is energetic and requires plenty of exercise and engagement, while our two senior dogs need a much slower pace and extra attention. One of our seniors is a 13-year-old who is both hearing and vision impaired and has a number of behavioral quirks that come with age. He requires patience, consistency, frequent potty breaks, careful supervision outdoors, and an understanding of how to help him navigate his environment comfortably. Candi took the time to understand each dog’s routine and personality and cared for them exactly as we had hoped. Throughout our trip, she was highly responsive, sent regular photo updates, and kept us informed, which gave us peace of mind. It was clear from the photos and updates that our dogs were comfortable, happy, and relaxed in her care. When we returned home, they were content and at ease, showing how well cared for they were. She also took excellent care of our home, leaving everything in great condition. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would wholeheartedly recommend Candi to anyone looking for a trustworthy, compassionate, and attentive pet sitter—especially if you have pets with special needs or unique personalities. We would gladly have her care for our dogs again.
