Before booking her I did a home visit with my dogs since one of my dogs is a little nervous around big dogs and the other requires more attention (he can’t see good and has renal disease). They both did great there and I didn’t worry about them at all while I was on vacation. I appreciated that Kristen sent pictures and little updates periodically, but didn’t overdo it either. She really helped me out of a jam—two jams, actually—when she accepted my last-minute booking (like, basically 24 hours notice) when my other sitter canceled for an emergency, AND she VERY generously agreed to watch my dog for an extra night when I was stuck overnight at a the airport. Amber shared daily photos and videos and other updates. She’s both proactive and quickly responsive. Will happily trust her to watch my pup anytime. But for my sake, please just…find someone else 🙏🏻”
About: I love every dog like my own, and my home is their home. It's like spending a weekend with grandma, but better! My treats are healthy and I have experience caring for both energetic puppies and gentle senior dogs with extra needs. Working from home means I'm with my two dogs all day. We enjoy plenty of outdoor playtime in my large fenced-in-backyard, and I'm always around to give them love & care! Pups are welcome on the furniture and the bed - we love to snuggle! I'll always follow your preferences, but it still feels like grandma's house here - cozy, relaxed, fun, and full of love! I follow the directions you leave first and foremost. After that I provide love, patience, fun, and understanding for dogs of all ages. My furniture is doggie friendly and accidents are easily cleaned up. My only requirement is that they play nice with other pups, unfortunately I'm not in a position to handle aggressive dogs who don't like others. I can provide for senior dogs who need space to themselves and extra love.
