“Just took our new 2 year old for the first time. Jaime has been watching our 10 year of dog for almost a year now. Both love going to her place. Always love the updates daily to see how much fun they have”
“Carrie’s as good as it gets! It was the first time we left our little guy without us—5 nights—and I was a worried mama. Carrie couldn’t have done more for him—or me! She took such good care of him. And she made sure I knew exactly how he was doing throughout every day we were gone. Plus, he wasn’t always an angel, and she took it all in stride. Very cool woman and dog sitter. 10/10”
“Thank you give Joseph 10 Stars I would maybe I could give him two separate reviews and that would add up to 10 Stars. He kept me up to date with videos and photos. My Basset Hound didn't even want to leave. Having Joseph's services available to me really help me out and is going to help me out in the near future. I can't give you enough thanks Joseph!”
“Nancy and her family were incredible sitters for our dog Mango. Right after we dropped her off, Nancy told me that she worked to familiarize Mango with the new place by walking her around the parameter of the home. I felt that was very thoughtful! She was very communicative throughout the stay. I'd give 10 stars if I could!”
“Julie was amazing with our two puppies. She was very flexible and able to care for our dogs and her own dog simultaneously. She sent many pictures and updates and responded swiftly to all requests and messages. Would recommend to anyone looking for a Rover and would book with her again in the future!”
“Kristen was amazing! She was quick to respond and sent pictures of our dog every day. It was our first time boarding our dog and we were a little anxious, but it was obvious how well Kristen took care of her. We will definitely book with her again!”
“What an absolute gem of a family! Marshall was so well taken care of and happy. They took time to provide us daily updates. There is nothing better than knowing you have left your pup in caring hands while you are away and they check this box.”
“Kayley and her family were WONDERFUL with my dog's long weekend stay. He came home tired and happy and I know he enjoyed his time in their home and with their two friendly dogs. I will definitely reach out to Kayley again when in need of dog sitting. Thank you Kayley!”
“Brandi and her family were absolutely wonderful with our dog. She sent me lots of updates and pictures and had great communication. I felt completely confident our dog was safe and taken care of. Our dog was a little dramatic with their sweet older dog and Brandi was so kind navigating that (was totally our dog’s fault).”
“So thankful for Malias help this weekend! She took time out of her day to do a meet and greet with us before leaving Sammie. I could tell right away she is a responsible dog owner and loves animals. While we were gone, she stayed in contact with us and sent pictures. Sammie seemed very happy and comfortable at their home.”
“Jonathan kept my dog really well. We went away for 20 days, and I always felt confident that Watson was well looked after. When I picked my dog up he couldn't believe I still existed. He'd completely adjusted to his new life;) We'll happily use Jonathan again, and I'd recommend him to anyone.”
“Emily took such good care of our fur baby. We could see how happy he was in the daily photos she sent us. Great communication before and during our trip. When we had a last minute change in travel plans, Emily was very gracious and accommodating. We will definitely be asking her to care for Bear again.”
“I hesitate to leave a review, honestly, because I don’t want more people taking up all of Amber’s availability! She really helped me out of a jam—two jams, actually—when she accepted my last-minute booking (like, basically 24 hours notice) when my other sitter canceled for an emergency, AND she VERY generously agreed to watch my dog for an extra night when I was stuck overnight at a the airport. Amber shared daily photos and videos and other updates. She’s both proactive and quickly responsive. Will happily trust her to watch my pup anytime. But for my sake, please just…find someone else 🙏🏻”
“Andrew was great and he paid a lot of attention to our pup! We felt very relieved knowing our girl was being taken care of. We got updates and photos daily, which was very nice to have.”
“Angela is a supersitter! She was so kind and caring with our dogs and really went the extra mile, throwing frisbee to our Aussie and loving on our cavapoo! She is a genuine animal liver who treats your pets like her own! We will definitely rebook. Thanks, Angela!”
“Will & Jillian were great with Rosie and were great about sending pictures and communicating with us while we were away! We will definitely use them again in the future!”
“Karie was wonderful! Communicative via messages and sending photos, took my dog on multiple walks a day, and in general cared for him as one of her own. Highly recommend!”
“We had an excellent experience boarding with Jaxen! She was extremely flexible with us on drop off due to unforeseen circumstances. She has a very nice kennel house that was clean and spacious for the dogs and a large yard for them to run around in throughout the day! She sent us pictures of Ranger playing and he had a big smile on his face, so I’m sure he enjoyed his stay. Thank you!!”

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, daily exercise may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Catoosa Springs home-away-from-home, we recommend packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Catoosa Springs.
<b>Tip:</b> You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your Catoosa Springs sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in GA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
