“Nicole was fantastic with our cat, Moo. He is 14 years old and struggles with respiratory issues and we had to travel for 2 weeks. I was super nervous at first but felt at ease after having a meet and greet with Nicole. She is really kind and caring and is knowledgeable about cats since she’s had many of her own. She took care of Moo the same way, like her own. She also spent extra time with him when he was struggling and made sure he was okay everyday. I would not hesitate to book with her again. Thank you so much Nicole!”

“Maeghan was fantastic! I’m always nervous having someone new watch our animals but she was very flexible, communicative and attentive. We will definitely have her back to take care of our pets ☺️”

“Shauna is great! She’s been really helpful in integrating our puppy into our home and getting him on a schedule. She’s wonderful with Ducky, our 4 1/2 month old handful. She’s punctual, communicative, and specifically works on the things Ducky needs help with. Highly recommend!!!”

“Isabelle was on-time or a bit early for all 3 of her daily drop-in and walks with our dog Camilla and it was obvious from the pics that Camilla had a good time and was panting afterwards from having such a good long walk. I appreciated her dedication to documenting the walk with the Rover card system so I could see the length and route of the walks as Camilla does do better being home alone after having gotten a nice long walk. Will DEFINITELY book with Isabelle again if she's available.”

“Eve was excellent- and very fast friends with our cat and dog. They loved her. She’s a great communicator and kept us updated and sent us pictures! We look forward to the next time, and I’m sure our pets do, too!”

“Melissa’s care for our cat was absolutely superb and a perfect intro to Rover for us. She was highly communicative, responsive, and cared for our cat like her own. She sent photos after the scheduled visits and took care of our home. Highly recommend booking with Melissa - we’ve already re-booked.”

About: I grew up on a farm, allowing me to work with animals of all types. I spent 4 years working off and on at my local animal shelter. I took dogs on daily walks and fed and cleaned cages. I also worked 3 summers as a veterinarian assistant. I assisted with surgeries and gave daily medications to animals of all types including cats, dogs, and farm animals. I also have experience with training using positive reinforcement, specifically with dogs but have been becoming well versed with cats, as well. I am a full-time student, but I only have classes four days a week, which leaves me with a flexible schedule and plenty of availability during the rest of the week. I am also free most weekends, as I am currently focused on school and do not have other major obligations. This allows me to dedicate time and attention to the pets I care for. I keep a close eye on any pet that comes into my home or that I spend time with, always ensuring they are safe, comfortable, and well cared for. I treat every pet as if they were my own, with patience, attention, and love. Both pets and their owners deserve kindness, respect, and reliable care, and that is exactly what I strive to provide.

About: I used to foster neonatal kittens and feral kittens to teach them their socialization skills, and assist their skills they would have learned with their mother. I worked at a no kill animal shelter, where I took dogs on walks 3+ times a day, fed them their breakfast, cleaned behind them as well as the cats, and learning their personalities and see what cat(s) in the shelter will be their bestie! I currently work 8-5 from Monday to Friday. I work and live in Reston, and have an hour lunch break, which I do not eat during anyways. I would have an hour during lunch, and time before and after work as well as on weekends. Im even available some weekends to overnight stay with your angels. I prefer to take care of, and watch your angels in your home where they are the most comfortable in their own environment. If you wanted socialization, I do have a hatchback honda civic with plenty of room to take a ride down to the animal park! If cats, depending on the situation, I could have them meet mine.

“Deb is wonderful about providing me updates on my pets, and ensuring that they are well taken care of during her drop in visits. I really appreciate her communication and help looking after my crew.”

“Emily is my go-to pet sitter. She has done drop-in's a number of times for us and never disappoints. We have two skittish cats and she is excellent with both, and always keeps us up-to-date on how they are and what they're doing. I'm never afraid to leave for a week or more, knowing she's keeping an eye on them.”

“Edward was a great caregiver for my cat over a holiday weekend. He was extremely professional during the meet and greet and asked a lot of thoughtful questions. He sent great photos and took care of my cat well. Looking forward to using him again in the future!”

About: I bring a combination of hands-on experience and compassion to pet care. Growing up, I regularly pet sat for neighbors, family members, and friends, often caring for multiple animals at once and managing different routines and needs. I also have volunteered with the Lost Dog & Cat Rescue Foundation (LDCRF), where I worked with dogs of all ages, including those with socialization challenges. This experience taught me patience and techniques for helping nervous or reactive pets feel safe and comfortable. In addition to caring for cats and dogs, I have experience with various farm animals, which has given me a broad understanding of different animals’ needs and behaviors. Whether it’s providing basic care, maintaining routines, or offering extra attention to pets who need it most, I strive to make each animal feel secure and loved while their owners are away. As a full-time medical assistant, I have developed strong time management skills that help me balance my work schedule with pet care responsibilities. My workday typically ends in the late afternoon, which gives me plenty of time in the evenings and on weekends for walks, feedings, and playtime. I am comfortable maintaining structured routines, both in my profession and with animals, so I can easily accommodate pets’ feeding schedules, exercise needs, and any special care instructions. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on keeping them comfortable by maintaining their usual routines for feeding, walks, playtime, and rest. I take time to get to know each pet’s personality and needs, whether that means giving extra attention to a shy cat, helping a dog with socialization challenges feel secure, or managing the needs of multiple pets at once. I also make sure their space stays clean and safe, and I provide regular updates to give owners peace of mind while they are away :)

“Madison was wonderful with my two senior dogs. She was prompt and followed instructions for feeding and medications superbly. I could not be happier. Madison took the time to update me and take photos of the dogs with every visit. 10/10 recommendation! Thanks, Madison!”

“Sara is an amazing dog walker! 5 stars! I can tell she really knows how to handle my dog's temperament and has won over my dog, who is very energetic and gets distracted easily ;) She's also very safe in this Covid-time we are living. Definitely going to continue booking her. I cannot rave about her enough.”

Avery O.Star Sitter
“We are very thankful that Avery has been the one to sit for our pets over the last couple of years for us. When we need go on long vacations or we only need her for a day or two, she has always been wonderful with our 2 dogs, 3 cats, and bird. It’s a blessing to know that we have someone that we can truly rely on with taking care of our pets. And our animals absolutely love her! We also never have to worry about her leaving a mess or not taking care of our home while we are gone. She has always made sure it was well kept while she was there and a lot of times, it was cleaner when we returned than when we left. Avery has been a blessing to our family and we are thankful that we have her to take care of our family animals when we need her.”
