“Rich was an excellent host—his communication was clear and timely, and his professionalism really stood out. Our dog Pinker had a wonderful day at his place and came home happy, relaxed, and tired from all the fun. Highly recommend!”

“Andrea is a terrific find. As a former licensed family day care provider for children, she takes the same attentive care to each dog in her daycare pack. My puppy gets so excited and runs like crazy into her house as soon as we enter the driveway. We go 2-3 times a week now. Andrea Is so flexible in the number of hours and changing schedules our dog can stay, she’s greatly improved my life and given me far more freedom than our dear but demanding dog’s constant need for socializing and play can provide, when I have to sit at my desk for long periods to work, or spend the day in NYC for many hours. We’re so grateful for Andrea’s daily smile, unruffled calm with the animals, and sense of responsibility. The assorted fur kids, with daily alternates, all seem to get along comfortably. This our 3rd CT dog, this time a King Charles Cavalier, would show it if he wasn’t really happy. Thank you Andrea!”

“Dew goes above and beyond for my puppy. Checks in regularly when he is in her care and even checks in when he is at home. As a first time user of a dog-sitter, I was anxious about leaving my puppy in someone else’s care. Dew almost immediately alleviated my concerns. I feel like her care has been a major benefit for me and for my puppy’s social development. Will continue to take advantage of Dew’s services for the foreseeable future. Highly recommended!”

“My dog Lolli had a great time with Jeff and Choco! I think she really enjoyed getting to play with another dog and was very tired when we returned home. Jeff sent me several photos while she was with him, and she seemed very happy.”

“My dog, Luna, had a great day at Kyle’s. He’s got a great setup for pups to play inside and out, and he clearly understands dogs well and is able to give them great care. Luna is very nervous around new people, and Kyle was able to attend to her needs and made sure she was comfortable during her stay. Will definitely be back.”

“Alexa and Alex were amazing! Great communicators and were very accommodating. They were flexible with pickup/drop off times, they helped a bit with crate training and separation training. They even offered to meet in person first to make sure Mabel was comfortable with them and Shay. But most importantly, Alexa and Alex were so sweet to Mabel and I could see by photos that Mabel was very happy being with them, in their home. Mabel and Shay were such best friends and were always so excited to see each other! I will always go to Alexa and Alex (and Shay) first for any babysitter needs in the future! 10/10!!!”

“Kimberly was great ! Our puppy loved being with Kimberly and her dogs. Kimberly also met with our dog beforehand to make sure everything would be good. It was our first time using rover and was a very nice experience.”

“Nicole is not only knowledgeable but you can feel how she loves taking care of animals! I appreciate so much the care she has provided and will using her again! Thank you 🙏🏻”

“Can’t say enough about how great Ken is with Havoc! It’s hard to find someone knowledgeable about working breed dogs and how to handle them. Havoc comes home relatively tired after each visit - which is saying something for a Dutchie!”

“We were visiting from out of town and needed daycare over the holidays. Laurie was available and amazing. Ollie was safe and happy and she sent lots of pictures to reassure us. How lucky we were to find her!”

“Thank you, Vijaya, for your warm welcome and excellent care of Minnie. She enjoyed her long walk and the toy basket, and had a good day despite still wearing her Elizabethan collar. We knew she was in good hands right away, and look forward to having her stay with you again.”

“Lily is down to earth and I felt comfortable leaving my pups with her for the day. Her property is also nice for my pups to roam outside. I received photos and videos periodically throughout the day with updates on how my babies were doing. I will definitely book again!”

“Luke took care of Haru very well. He understands she needs a little more attention than adult dog, and made her happy. He sent her photos and she looked so relaxed. Highly recommended and I will book again for sure.”

About: Dogs and cats have always been a constant in my life and I cannot imagine life without them. They always bring joy, love, laughter, and meaning to our lives. I am retired and am available to walk/run your dog/s on or off leash and care for your cats in your home as well. I am available 7 days/week, often with very short notice. I will always follow your instructions for pet care. You will let me know if you prefer walks in your yard or on/off leash runs elsewhere.

About: We have been offline from Rover, taking repeat customers, and personal referrals, which was keeping us very busy! Since dogs bring so much joy to life, I am dedicating more time to open bookings to new pets. I am a dog lover for a lifetime. As a kid, I would care for strays. As an adult, I have had a dog in my life for the past 30 years- I have adopted 3 full grown, mature labs from various shelters and they all had a great, long life! My current Lab Lulu, is our sitting “mascot” and she welcomes all dogs to our homestay center. She was an adoptee from an elderly couple. My young adult son & dog-lover will be a great co-host to care for and play with your pet. Pets are like family here and they will be loved, cared for and respected. We will give play, attention, exercise, love and create a setting where your pet feels comfortable and not stressed. We should do a meet and greet with our dogs prior to first boarding. The yard here is fully fenced, but I only let dogs out in the yard with supervision. I will give walks/hikes, as you like. Your dog can sleep and hang-out in whatever area of the house is comfortable to him or her. If they prefer a crate, we can. If they prefer their own room, they can have my lower level finished room. If they like to mix it up with the family they can. We cater to your dog and help to diminish their stress and let them be themselves. If the pup is stressed and needs extra attention at night, they can sleep in the bedroom, ( sometimes on the bed, only if you allow that) . I have cared for multiple senior and special needs dogs, providing medication, and special care routines. We look forward to getting to know your loving pet and offering them a home away from home! I have posted a few pictures. Max resting with his new BFF and a Dog Vacay client Duke!! Also some regulars of our Pet loving care Riley, Bella and Tex, Rosie.. Pet Care is a dominant share of our daily lives. Someone is here most of the day, so lots of interaction and attention is provided. If we run out , here or there ( as you would at home) each dog get’s their own space to hang-out. Dogs visiting from different families are only together, when supervised. My Home-Away-Vacay-Stay has a fully fenced yard with plenty of toys. Run of the house and cuddles with our family make your pup feel at home.

“Denise was absolutely stellar. She has an amazing house with lots of space for dogs, she really takes good care of the dogs she sits for, and takes amazing photos! Cannot recommend enough.”
