“Qinyun asked all the right questions about caring for my cat and apartment when she came to meet her before I went out of town. My cat looked as happy and comfortable as could be in all of the pictures, which she was when I got back from vacation!”

“Adam was great: very patient and consistent. He took great care of my cat sasha who is very shy around people. Adam spent time petting and playing with him. sasha looked happy in the photos he sent me everyday!”

“Dani did an absolutely amazing job with our kitten Maddy. She was so quick to respond to me when I was looking for someone to drop in and visit our cat during our out-of-town trip. We got a detailed report every day, along with a bunch of really sweet photos. Maddy can be a bit particular and uncomfortable around strangers, but it seems Dani was able to quickly get her to open up and play. It really meant a lot to us to know that our cat was being taken care of so well and diligently while we were out of town. Dani clearly loves animals and is fantastic at her job, I will definitely be calling her again the next time Maddy needs a buddy while we’re gone. Thanks again Dani!”

“Guilherme did a great job with our dogs! He was timely and provided a lovely update about his visit. We’re very thankful he has been able to help when we need it!”

About: I’ve been lucky enough to raise and care for three wonderful dogs, from tiny two-month-old pups to wise, gentle seniors — so I’m comfortable with dogs of all ages. I love getting to know each dog’s unique personality and energy level, and I adapt my care to suit what makes them happiest. On walks, I keep a close eye on what they sniff or try to eat, as well as how they interact with other pets we meet along the way — making sure every encounter is safe and friendly. I can also do basic training like “sit,” “paw,” and “roll,” using high-quality freeze-dried liver treats (with your permission, of course!). When we return from our walk, I’m happy to give them a gentle clean-up — wiping their eyes, paws, and rear with premium Earth Rated pet wipes — so they come home fresh and comfortable. I walk my own dog at least twice a day, so spending time with animals is already part of my daily routine. I’m an active person, averaging over 10,000 steps a day, and since I live in downtown Palo Alto, walking is also my main form of getting around. At my client’s home, I will feed the pets, play with them, and keep an eye out for anything unusual, letting the owners know right away if I notice something of concern. I’m also happy to handle basic pet-related clean-up when needed. Having raised three dogs myself, I’ve become skilled at giving relaxing dog massages — and if your pet enjoys gentle human touch, I’d be delighted to treat them to a soothing massage.

“Yee Ping is great! She made our dogs happy and comfortable right away. They loved spending time with her and playing fetch in the yard. She even tailored her visit schedule to make sure they got to go out at good times.”

About: I’ve had dogs in my house since I was a baby! I enjoy connecting with animals and have dog sat for many friends and family members over the last 6 years. I’m currently working part time, so I have a very flexible schedule to care for your dog! I work from home, so I enjoy taking dogs on long walks to get some fresh air and exercise (for both of us). I will be very respectful of your home and make sure your dog is well attended to while you’re away. Please don’t hesitate to specify anything they might need to feel extra safe and cared for.

About: I’ve had all different kinds of pets ranging from turtles, bunnies, chickens, and dogs since I was 5 years old. My last dog was a small dog and I’ve sat big dogs in the past. I’m currently on summer break from my university and don’t have a part time or full time job so I’ll have lots of time to take care of any pups! My house is fenced, and I have a little goldfish pond I’m creating netting over top of. My chickens are in a contained area without outside access and I currently don’t have any other pets inside of my home, so the dog could be crated or left to roam around depending on whatever is preferred.

About: I take care of lots of pets in my field of work and pet wellness is my passion. I’ve taken care of pets of my friends and family as well. I’m ready to care for your pet and grow my knowledge of pet care at the same time. I’m a full time student working part time. Although I’m busy most mornings due to school and work, I’m almost always available during the afternoon, especially evenings and nights! On weekends I’m available all day and night! Contact me and I’ll let you know what times I’m available specifically and we can work on a schedule that works for both of us! Safety is an important part of pet care. While I care for your pet, it’s important to me that I’m knowledgeable on your pet’s personal medications, eating and drinking habits, as well as playfulness and exercise habits. I’ll work closely with you and your pet to care for them in the best way possible!

About: My experience with dogs started when I rescued a 1-month dog. At that time, I was all his family. I felt in love with him, and named him Limo. Ever since, I informed myself and started taking care of all aspects of Limo's life. I educated him to be respectful of spaces in the house, where to sleep and where not to, how to behave when I was not home, and also some nice tricks to entertain him such as sitting, laying, closing a cupboard, and others. I enjoyed my time with Limo so much, he was my companion. When I moved to the US, I left Limo with my family in the house we all lived together, as I was afraid that the long flight from Italy would be too stressful for him. Life with a dog is fulfilling, and I miss Limo a lot, hence I thought hosting and taking care of dogs here could be a great way to keep being surrounded by these amazing animals. I love pets in general, and I'am always happy to have them sleeping next to me, cuddle them, play with them and walk them around - everything I could do with them is just magic. I currently work as a cook at mornings, but have normally plenty of time in the afternoon to walk dogs. At weekends, I could also host dogs at night - me and my wife are normally home, wither both or one of us, and love pets. Me and my wife have a fenced backyard where pets can safely stay, run and play. We also have a nice front yard, and plenty of area we can walk to. Our house isn't too big, but does not have carpet, which is ideal for hosting pets.

“Donna was absolutely amazing. Her and Bruno got along so well and she did everything that I asked for him. She took him to parks and played with him for the whole duration of the check in and left him so happy and tired when she left. Definitely would trust her with Bruno again, and with any other dogs or cats out there in this world!”

“Kathryn watched our 4 month old golden retriever puppy and he loved her! She has a great intuition with dogs and is very understanding of puppy behavior, which makes me feel at ease leaving our puppy with her. She is also flexible and accommodating with scheduling, which I appreciate. High recommend hiring her for your pup!”

About: I’ve had two dogs at home for most of my life and loved each second of being a dog mom! At Stanford I am on the rugby team and love being outside playing with the team dog. In my free time I enjoy going to east bay spca and SF SPCA to walk the dogs and share my love with the doggies who have been there a bit longer. I have trained both of my dogs in my home state to do off leash walks, protective watch and the classic tricks like shake and roll over . I am home most afternoons and will spend the evening after the sun has cooled off playing with your furbaby and making sure they get their steps in! This looks like 2-3 hours of play time and 3-4 walks in the after noon. Campus is such a dog friendly neighborhood and multiple private fenced areas. Having two off leash dogs back home I and very attentive in our walks and take time to learn your dogs play style so we are both having fun! I also have training with crate time and reactive dogs (all fur babies deserve love).

“Jess is the infamous pet lover in my friend group. She shows an incredible amount of love for her dog, Nono and gives him the best care back home. I was actually once invited to Nono's birthday a year ago and I was shocked to see the efforts Jess put in to celebrate his big day. She invited his friends and our friends and decorated the corner of a pet café with banners and ribbons that she bought. The cake, of course, was the highlight of the party. Nono had so much fun and so did his friends. I highly recommend Jess as a responsible and loving pet caregiver.”

Alexis is our go-to cat sitter - she takes such great care of our cats and is always so communicative! We left the cats for almost two weeks (the longest we’ve ever left them) and I was worried about how they’d do…but with constant care and attention from Alexis, they were totally content!

Trina was wonderful! She came over the day before for a meet and greet, which really put my mind at ease. On the day of our drop-in, she was punctual and took such great care of our dog. I was able to relax and enjoy my time away knowing our pup was with a safe, caring, and loving person. We will definitely be reaching out to Trina again!

Hannah was absolutely wonderful! She took care of my two cats for a week and did an amazing job. She’s dependable, resourceful, and clearly loves animals. My cats, who usually hide from strangers, warmed up to her right away. She gave regular updates, and I could tell they were happy and well cared for the whole time. Hannah is reliable, caring, and goes above and beyond to make sure your pets are happy.

Kimberly was sweet with our elderly kitty and careful about giving the daily medication. She was also communicative and took great care to keep our home secure and tidy. We will definitely book her again. Thank you, Kimberly, for giving our Girl good care and us peace of mind while we were away!

Emma has been an awesome find for us and our dog, Cody. Cody is an active 70lb inqusitive guy but who has been quite sick and needs a lot of extra care. Emma was easy to communicate with - responding quickly and clearly. She has been great with Cody - taking the time to get to know him and being attentive to his needs. She is always on time and has been proactively thoughtful in caring for our dog and our house. I would absolutely work with Emma again either as a dog walker or house sitter.
