About: We always had a family dog during my childhood. As I was raising my children, we had both dogs and cats throughout the years. I have adopted cats from shelters over the last 15 years (one being a senior cat who passed away during COVID). Over the last 8 years, I have provided live-in dog care/house sitting for my sister's dogs as she traveled to the west coast. I currently help friends and family with animal care as needed. I enjoy being outside and would love taking walks with your pets in nature. I am a retired registered nurse and have ample free time available. I currently volunteer at the Ronald McDonald House Family Room at Albany Medical Center Hospital. I also volunteer at Capital Roots in Troy. About: I have, of course experience as a pet lover as a young child, merely watching and walking the dogs, feeding and changing litter/ picking up after the dogs. I never fully had responsibility and experience until I adopted my pal Leo. He is a high energy lab retriever and puts me through every step of patience! About: I've had pets in the past and love caring for them and playing with them. Grew up with a cat, had a dog and coserved a cat with my wife. Because we may move some time internationally, we haven't wanted to make a long term commitment, be we would love to be grandpetparents where we help out by babysitting while people need to travel pet free for a short time. I work full time but from home several days a week. My son, who loves animals will be around on days I am not at home. We would welcome any pets as part of the family.
