Responsible animal lover!
Hello pet owners! I've been an animal lover my whole life and would be thrilled to watch your fur baby when you need to travel or stay late at work. I'm not squeamish about elder pets with health issues and have experience administering medications or giving extra TLC when needed. But please do let me know if your dog has a history of aggression with any new sitters- this might mean we need to schedule a few visits with your dog with you present to get everyone comfortable! I'm a freelance musician and have a lot of flexibility in my schedule. I have a dog of my own, as well as a flock of pet ducks, and will soon acquire a pair of dairy goats. As you can see, I love all kinds of animals and would be happy to watch any and all that you need support with. At this point I'm not boarding pets in our house since our yard isn't fenced. But I'm happy to provide overnight stays in your house, if needed, while my husband watches our pets at home. I can also drop in for walks or visits, but may need to charge an extra fee for driving distances further than 20 minutes. (*If boarding or day care is what you need, we can discuss that option. I'll consider it on a case to case basis. My dog might love having a friend to play with if that's a good fit for everyone!) I'll be sure to go over your pet's specific needs during our meet-and-greet. Whether it's anxiety issues or medical needs, we'll get on the same page so that you and your pet feel safe and taken care of!

I will go over your preferred routine with your pet; possible "escapes" and or health concerns. Each pet and home is different and I'm happy to know what will make you and your fur baby feel the most comfortable.

Joanna stayed with our Brodie while we were out of town. She is punctual, professional and very sweet. She truly loves dogs. We were very comfortable leaving our dog in her care. We thank her and highly recommend her.

My schedule is quite flexible, especially with advance notice. I'm available most days for drop in visits or can provide long term stays in most cases.
