“Janet was wonderful! This was the first time I've left our chocolate lab with someone we didn't know. She had a great time at doggie day camp, playing with her dogs, lots of walks, including to the creek, and treats galore! We are grateful to have found someone who will love our girl and take such good care of her while we are gone.”

About: I love animals and want to work with them to pursue my passion for them. I am reliable and I will take great care of your pets. I am available from 9 A.M. to 10 P.M daily after October 25th. I will have a safe environment for dogs as well as food and toys. I am currently unemployed so your pet will be my first priority. I will do everything I can to keep you pet healthy and happy I do not have enough space to take care of animals in my home so I cannot provide that service. I am hoping to change that.

About: I have been surrounded by animals my whole life, whether they be cats, dogs, horses, rabbits or others. My mother ran a no-kill animal shelter near our house called Friends of Homeless Animas (FOHA) for over 20 years, where I was first introduced to taking care of animals. Since I was a baby, my family and I have fostered numerous animals, cats, kittens, dogs and puppies of all different ages, sizes and breeds. This has made me very comfortable with caring for any kind of dog, and showed me the kind of responsibility and care one is tasked with when caring for an animal. I have lots of experience with boarding as I adopt out a lot of the foster dogs I care for, and their owners come to me first when needing to board their dog, as they know and trust me and prefer a real person than a kennel.

“Mary Beth was a wonderful sitter! She has a huge back yard with a high fence. My older hound got along great with her dog and I got plenty of pictures of them hanging out in the sun. When I picked up my dog she looked comfortable and right at home. I recommend her to anyone staying nearby in the Nelson valley or passing through. They were minutes from our Bed and Breakfast that didn't allow pets, so it worked out perfect!”
