Mac & his dog Beaker were friendly & welcoming. Murphy was with them 2 nights before being picked up by my daughter-in-law. She reported an easy pickup & that Mac had everything ready to go. Mac had reported that Murphy fit right in.

About: I worked for a pet walking company doing a little bit of everything. I have walked dogs (sometimes multiples) and done many drop in visits for potty breaks and play times and feedings. I have an extremely flexible and open schedule due to being a stay at home mom the last few years. I would be available for drop in services at most times. I’ve learned that owners will have their own rules and that is what would be followed at the clients house. This could be a list of things to have done in a set amount of time or rules on feeding, playing, etc. In my own home you can expect your pets to be spoiled! We let pets on furniture, have unlimited play time and we have a few friends for them here.

Janet was wonderful! This was the first time I've left our chocolate lab with someone we didn't know. She had a great time at doggie day camp, playing with her dogs, lots of walks, including to the creek, and treats galore! We are grateful to have found someone who will love our girl and take such good care of her while we are gone.

Every time we drop our dogs over there, they come back happy and tired from having a lot of exercise and fun with the other dogs. I would definitely recommend leaving your dog with them. I would definitely use them again also.

Lisa and her family did a great job watching our puppy for over a week while we were on our honeymoon. Our dog LOVED their 2 dogs and them having a fenced in backyard was perfect for him. She responded very quickly and was respectful and professional. She sent us updates and pictures, so we were always in the know on our pup. We could tell he had a blast and was well taken care of and they stuck to his daily routine which really helped too! We will definitely be booking with her family again for future vacations!

About: I’ve grown up with many cats and dogs and have also taken care of many family members pets for many years! And I currently work at a doggy daycare which has taught me a lot about different dog behaviors and how to handle them! I’m currently working part time at a dog daycare so i’ll have plenty of time to spend time with your dogs and/or cats! My schedule is usually three days a week for about 4 hours most days but some days it will be 6 hours! I will follow any given instructions to keep your pet safe and happy! I have very good knowledge with leash safety for walks and crate safety if needed!

Taylor and her family took wonderful care of our Cookie. We had a meet and greet a few weeks before boarding to make sure her Boxer Oakley and our Frenchie Cookie got along; they played for almost an hour! Her two kids are the sweetest and they really enjoyed caring for Cookie over the weekend. Taylor sent daily updates and pictures, which we really loved and appreciated! We would definitely recommend Taylor and try to book again whenever we cannot take Cookie on trips!

We were super grateful Kerry stepped up when we had a cancellation by another sitter. The whole family was lovely, and we appreciated the pics of our pup while we were gone!

I highly recommend Jaret. He is absolutely fabulous! He really took the time to get to know Spacey. He is patient, kind, and gentle. He really listened to my concerns and instructions, and followed them to a tee. He kept me updated throughout Spacey’s week-long stay. He took Spacey on runs, and I really appreciate that since I have a high-energy Pitbull. He worked with my baby on his leash-pulling, and even did Reiki on him since he was anxious without me the first two days. I’ve never seen Spacey calmer, or more peaceful! It is always nerve-racking to leave your dog with a stranger, but Jaret will quickly become a trusted friend. Millions of thanks! I will definitely be asking Jaret to sit Spacey again. Don’t hesitate, choose Jaret. You won’t regret it!

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.

For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
