About: I grew up around dogs all my life! I used to volunteer watching over my friends dogs. I understand how precious each and every dog is, and I intend to treat them with the loving they deserve! About: I've had pets or lived in homes with pets for most of my life, starting when I was a teenager, so caring for and sharing space with animals has always been a natural part of my everyday life. Over the years, I've become comfortable with the different personalities, routines, and needs that come with sharing a home with animals. I understand that every pet is different, and I take the time to get to know their individual habits and temperament rather than treating every animal the same. I'm attentive to the little things that help pets feel comfortable and secure—keeping to their normal routines, giving them plenty of affection and attention, and making sure they have the care and companionship they need while their people are away. When house sitting, I treat your home with the same respect and care I'd want from someone staying in mine. I'll make sure doors and gates are secure, keep things clean and tidy and in their place, and pay attention to anything that seems unusual or out of the ordinary. I'll also keep you updated with photos and messages throughout the booking, because I know how reassuring it is to see that your pets are happy and doing well. If I notice anything concerning, I'll let you know promptly rather than assuming it's nothing. About: I have owned pets my whole life and know the proper care for animals, I’ve had all sorts of pets, turtles, lizards, rabbits, chickens, ducks, cats, and dogs. I currently have a 2 year old Aussie/heeler mix. She has high energy so I’m used to taking her on walks or playing with her outside. We also love to go to the dog park to get energy out. I’m a stay at home mom and have plenty of time to care for dogs. I will be able to take them out as much as needed. I have a fenced yard with plenty of room to play, I also have a kennel in my home if your dog needs to be crated.

Simba is normally very aloof and leery of strangers but even when Bridgette came over to meet us before my trip he was quite comfortable with her. During the stay, from the photos and notes Bridgette sent me, I could see that he warmed up to Bridgette immediately. A huge bonus was that Bridgette watered a few of my house plants and left my house exactly as I’d left it. The next time I travel I hope Bridgette will be available!”

About: I have had dogs my entire life and can't imagine life without them! Most of mine were rescues but I have a heart for all (also including cats, horses, donkeys, chickens). My 14-year-old hound mix Charlie crossed the Rainbow Bridge a few years and while he took a little bit of my heart with him, I really miss being with and caring for animals again. I have filled this need with pet sitting and volunteering at equine rescues and equine-assisted therapy non profits. If you want your big and little ones treated and loved just as you would do, I’m here. I’m a baby-on-the-sofa, next-to-me-in-bed kind of pet carer — and I’m happy to follow your rules if that means floors and crates (there’s still plenty of opportunity for love and affection). We will walk, play, snuggle and be as active as your pet needs. We can do car rides and doggy parks, visit friends, have play dates, go for puppucinos. I’m flexible, open, and want only for your pets to be as happy with me as they are when you’re home. I’m what I always looked for in my extensive use of pet sitters: dependable, committed, at home most of the time, and a true animal lover. I’m happy to administer meds as needed, have cared for my own senior dogs with limitations (deaf, dementia, physical limitations, hospice).
