“Lauren is an excellent dog walker. She was always prompt. She evaluated Clancy's needs each time to determine walk or not (especially when very hot outside), or play instead and worked on commands and provided meal, treats and water. She always provided feedback on Clancy and activities included. We loved the pictures & video she provided with each visit. We'd definitely use Lauren again. Also note that Clancy is a puppy (7 months old & weighs 48+ lbs) with lots of energy and Lauren handled him expertly.”

“Mandie was fantastic! She is a true dog person and conquered my dogs’ personality quirks. Would highly recommend her. I was truly able to enjoy my vacation with no worries!”

About: Hi! I’m Emily and I have the best job in the world! I work with humans and dogs to create a strong foundation built on trust, guidance, respect, and leadership. Backstory: I mentored with a veterinarian through high school, and I was so blessed to get incredible hands on skills medically caring for dogs and cats (and even some hamsters and birds)! Due to this, I’m very comfortable with the often not-so-pretty side to dirty messes and medical needs. If you have a pet with special needs, let’s chat about how we can keep them the most comfortable and cared for in my home! I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Human Development and Family Studies before moving overseas. There, I ran an animal rescue, overseeing the care and fostering of about 100 cats and dogs at a time, many of which I helped foster. Once stateside, I decided to continue working with animals and add in “human” training. I began training basic obedience and correcting behaviors for puppy and adult dogs, and I also worked with psychiatric service dogs. Throughout this, most owners I spoke with felt THEY were the ones lacking knowledge, and so I’ve adapted my training and care to the needs of ALL family members. Turns out, my degree wasn’t for nothing ;) About our family: I have a baby girl, two wonderful stepsons, three dogs, and three kitties that make our family wild and so lovely. We are an outdoorsy family, and we all take part in the care of the animals. Our kiddos have grown up learning to respect pets’ boundaries, and we are well versed in the proper introduction for the safety of all. I can’t wait to hear about your family and how we can best serve your pet care and training needs! I work from home, so I’m available during the day to accommodate your needs. Please, look in advance for weekend and holiday availability, too, as we try to help others with their pet care needs during busy times when we know we’ll be around! I have a vinyl fenced in yard. My dogs are crate trained, and I typically crate dogs overnight who are comfortable with it for their safety and to keep them out of trouble!

About: I have been taking care of dogs my entire life. I have experience with a wide variety of breeds ranging from Labradors to German Shorthairs and Mastiffs to Miniature American Shepherds. No matter the size, energy level, or special needs you can trust your pet to me. I personally have bred, whelped, and raised two litters of puppies. I am confident in assisting in any potty training of puppies as well. Additionally, having three dogs of my own I know how difficult it can be to leave your dogs in someone else's care. I am very engaged with you during anytime I'm with your dog so you know how they're doing. I work remote and my schedule is very flexible. For the most part I have the ability to set my own schedule. The biggest benefit to me would be to schedule your time with your pet in advance so that I'm able to block that time on my work schedule. I make sure that my pets and the pets that are entrusted into my care are comfortable and content. In order to achieve this I use a variety of tools and tricks such as calm exercise, interactive play, and enrichment activities. I give as much love and attention as they desire without overstimulating or stressing them out. I pay close attention to any indications of stress or other ailments and keep the owners aware of all potential challenges.

About: My family has always had dogs around. And I absolutely loved growing up with them! People around me noticed how much I love all animals. From taking care of birds to lizards to turtles to cats, I was always asked to care of something. I just can't resist a job with animals! While school is in session, I am only available for walks, drop in visits, or house sitting. I tend to be available in the afternoons monday-thursday. My apartment offers plenty of yard space for your fur baby to go potty and play. I have over 1,000 sq ft of space inside for them. I don't limit my pets on where they can be inside. The same will be true for yours too. I have 3 animal-friendly dogs that can be crated or separated if needed. The respect I have for your animals will match the respect I have for your home and rules.

About: I've loved and cared for rescue dogs since I was 10. I have experience with reactive dogs, and I want to help them feel safe and have fun! I'll have plenty of flexible time for your pets as a college student with a lighter course load. My last class ends as 11:20a and then I'm free as a bird. Let me know your usual routines with your pet and I will dutifully follow all instructions! I won't invade your pet's space and will let them feel comfortable.

“Kai & Zaniyah loved their walks with Teagan! My husband had a last minute business trip and I had surgery and wasn't able to give them their daily exercise. I reached out to Teagan kind of last minute and she was happy to help us out. We will definitely reach out to her again!”

“Dependable and flexible”

Rebekah F.
“Rebekah has been one of the only people we’ve ever trusted to watch our energetic and sassy Mini American Shepherd. I cannot say enough good things about her. She is very knowledgable and experienced when it comes to almost all sizes and breeds of dogs, horses, goats, chickens, etc. She will prioritize your pets needs and well being over anything else. Being that we have such a high energy dog I was worried about whether she would get the attention and exercise she needs daily! I was very please when Rebekah told us she spent lots of time playing fetch, tug-of-war, and went on a walk with our dog and just how much she loved it! My husband and I highly recommend Rebekah!”

Ella Mae C.
“I hired Ella to watch my cat for a week when I went on vacation. Not only did she keep me updated every day on how he was doing, but she went above and beyond by bringing him his favorite treats when we ran out and buying him a new toy that he absolutely loves to this day. My husband and I always ask Ella first when we need a pet sitter. She cleaned his litter box without being asked, kept his water and food bowls full and followed his food schedule to a “T”. My cat absolutely loves seeing her and we’ve never had an issue in the year since hiring her. Before Ella, our cat had severe separation issues when we would leave but now we have peace of mind when we go, knowing that he is taken care of and truly loved by Ella. When we come home our place is just as we left it and our cat is healthy, happy, and tired from all of the play time he had when we were gone! I highly recommend giving Ella a chance, she is truly the right person for you and your pets.”

Emily H.
“Emily has cared for my fur babies multiple times—both for short and extended stays—and I can’t recommend her highly enough. One of my dogs tends to get into everything, and just before I left town, she got into something she shouldn't have (completely on my watch). Emily handled the situation with such grace and responsibility. She didn’t burden me with the stress while I was away, took care of the mess, and waited to fill me in once I got home—something I truly appreciated. There was also a time when another sitter backed out last minute, and although Emily was already pet sitting for someone else, she still made time to stop by, let my pup out, feed her, and give her some much-needed love and attention. That level of dedication is rare. My pup absolutely adores Emily—she even snuggles with her, which is a huge deal considering how timid she usually is. Emily is responsible, kind, compassionate, and always leaves things tidy. If you’re looking for someone you can fully trust with your pets, she’s the one.”
