About: I’ve been taking care of dogs and cats as a sitter position since I was in middle school for my family. Scheduled feeding, bathroom breaks, medicine, and walks is nothing new for me! Bathing and basic grooming comes with the territory too, if you’d like. Having family and friends that work in animal care has given me the opportunity to have experience with all ages of pets as well as health knowledge. I’m patient with animals of various behavioral needs as well, and have even cared for fish and exotic pets. I’ve personally owned and care for dogs and cats have been a sitter on Rover since 2022. I have a full-time job with varied hours M-F and weekends off, and will absolutely make time for your pet! I’m available for boarding at owners’ homes, walks, check-ins, etc.! I have my own reliable transportation and often travel for work so could even try to work walks or check-ins into my workday. I am very considerate of you and your pet’s comfort. I respect all owners property and security and value them feeling comfortable and respected. There are multiple parks near my own home to take dogs (or cats, if they like that!) to; I’m comfortable having pets in my car or we can walk if it’s close! I am incredibly flexible to all your needs and will be leave your home as I found it or better after my time there.

She evaluated Clancy's needs each time to determine walk or not (especially when very hot outside), or play instead and worked on commands and provided meal, treats and water. She always provided feedback on Clancy and activities included. We loved the pictures & video she provided with each visit. We'd definitely use Lauren again. Also note that Clancy is a puppy (7 months old & weighs 48+ lbs) with lots of energy and Lauren handled him expertly.”

About: Hi! I’m Emily and I have the best job in the world! I work with humans and dogs to create a strong foundation built on trust, guidance, respect, and leadership. Backstory: I mentored with a veterinarian through high school, and I was so blessed to get incredible hands on skills medically caring for dogs and cats (and even some hamsters and birds)! Due to this, I’m very comfortable with the often not-so-pretty side to dirty messes and medical needs. If you have a pet with special needs, let’s chat about how we can keep them the most comfortable and cared for in my home! I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Human Development and Family Studies before moving overseas. There, I ran an animal rescue, overseeing the care and fostering of about 100 cats and dogs at a time, many of which I helped foster. Once stateside, I decided to continue working with animals and add in “human” training. I began training basic obedience and correcting behaviors for puppy and adult dogs, and I also worked with psychiatric service dogs. Throughout this, most owners I spoke with felt THEY were the ones lacking knowledge, and so I’ve adapted my training and care to the needs of ALL family members. Turns out, my degree wasn’t for nothing ;) About our family: I have a baby girl, two wonderful stepsons, three dogs, and three kitties that make our family wild and so lovely. We are an outdoorsy family, and we all take part in the care of the animals. Our kiddos have grown up learning to respect pets’ boundaries, and we are well versed in the proper introduction for the safety of all. My dogs are crate trained, and I typically crate dogs overnight who are comfortable with it for their safety and to keep them out of trouble!

About: I have been taking care of dogs my entire life. I have experience with a wide variety of breeds ranging from Labradors to German Shorthairs and Mastiffs to Miniature American Shepherds. No matter the size, energy level, or special needs you can trust your pet to me. I personally have bred, whelped, and raised two litters of puppies. I am confident in assisting in any potty training of puppies as well. Additionally, having three dogs of my own I know how difficult it can be to leave your dogs in someone else's care. I am very engaged with you during anytime I'm with your dog so you know how they're doing. I work remote and my schedule is very flexible. For the most part I have the ability to set my own schedule. The biggest benefit to me would be to schedule your time with your pet in advance so that I'm able to block that time on my work schedule. I make sure that my pets and the pets that are entrusted into my care are comfortable and content. In order to achieve this I use a variety of tools and tricks such as calm exercise, interactive play, and enrichment activities. I give as much love and attention as they desire without overstimulating or stressing them out. I pay close attention to any indications of stress or other ailments and keep the owners aware of all potential challenges.

About: My family has always had dogs around. And I absolutely loved growing up with them! People around me noticed how much I love all animals. From taking care of birds to lizards to turtles to cats, I was always asked to care of something. I just can't resist a job with animals! While school is in session, I am only available for walks, drop in visits, or house sitting. I tend to be available in the afternoons monday-thursday. My apartment offers plenty of yard space for your fur baby to go potty and play. I have over 1,000 sq ft of space inside for them. I don't limit my pets on where they can be inside. The same will be true for yours too. I have 3 animal-friendly dogs that can be crated or separated if needed. The respect I have for your animals will match the respect I have for your home and rules.

About: I've loved and cared for rescue dogs since I was 10. I have experience with reactive dogs, and I want to help them feel safe and have fun! I'll have plenty of flexible time for your pets as a college student with a lighter course load. My last class ends as 11:20a and then I'm free as a bird. Let me know your usual routines with your pet and I will dutifully follow all instructions! I won't invade your pet's space and will let them feel comfortable.

About: I have worked with many different pets for a couple of years now. I’ve worked with small dogs, large dogs, and multiple dogs at one time. I work well with hyper and low energy animals alike. I will give your animal as much space or attention as needed and will truly treat them like family. I am not currently working, so I have as much time as necessary to care for pets. I am spending the summer to workout and spend time with family so your dogs will have no worries about getting the attention they need from me. I have an open backyard with lots of space to run around. I have a doggy door as well. No pets. I have a pool in my backyard and a balcony as well if that has any issues for you.
