About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my experience with dogs. I worked at a wonderful dog shelter called KC Paws that taught me about dog handling, body language, and temperament. I was a shift lead so I have experience administering medications - liquid and pills. I am also a foster for T.A.R.A, another wonderful shelter, so I have TONS of experience with puppies as young as 5 weeks old. While I have not worked in a professional setting with cats, I have 3 of my own and I have fostered two sweet cats. I’m finishing up school with one class left so at the moment, Rover is my full time job! I’m available unless otherwise stated on my schedule for whatever care your pet needs - day and night. Feel free to send me a message about scheduling questions to see if we can work something out! :) I only offer dog sitting in your home because I’ve got too many animals at my house and your dog or cat’s safety is my biggest priority. I am diligent when it comes to following instructions (with medications, food allergies, special needs) as well as with making sure your home is all locked up when I leave.

About: In a professional capacity, I’ve been off and on Rover for a few years, and I love it! My clients have loved the customer service level I bring to each interaction. From my communication style and pictures to my ability to be flexible in scheduling. In my personal life, I’ve taken care of dogs, fish, cats, turtles/tortoises, rats and guinea pigs. I’ve administered medication to pets in the past and I’ve done enrichment training as well. Schedule varies. I work in the Plaza and Partner Joel works from home and is available to care for pets all day. We live in downtown Kansas City MO. With my dog walks, I’ll typically take a 20 minute walk with 10 minutes allowed for enrichment/playtime. With any drop-ins, I’m happy to refill food/water and/or take care of any plants babies that you may have as I have a pretty good green thumb.

About: Hi, we are Scott and Jenn. We are experienced dog people, but we don't have a dog right now, so we are available to give your pup(s) our undivided attention. Dogs have been a central part of both our lives from growing up with dog "siblings" to fostering and adopting dogs of various breeds, ages and temperaments. Big and small, from high-energy young pups to sweet old seniors. After our Doberman passed in 2022, we made the difficult decision not to get another dog right away. Since Scott retired, we spend about six months a year traveling in our RV to visit family across the country. It has been a truly wonderful experience; however, life without dogs isn't right! Rover offers the perfect opportunity for us to enjoy spending time with dogs, while providing you peace of mind and your pets all the love and attention they deserve! My work is flexible and often portable, so I can be available just about any time. If I get your request before I go to bed, I can be at your home by 10am the next day. We treat dogs like family. A friend once told us “If reincarnation is real, I want to come back as one of your dogs”. We spend lots of time doing enrichment activities with the dog we sit for. We also really enjoy walking, so we would absolutely love to take your dog for long walks!

About: Hey there! I've been volunteering at animal shelters since I was 10 years old and have therefore trained and taken care of every kind of dog and cat you can think of. I stopped volunteering because I would get so attached to all the animals I raised and then they would get adopted - great for them, hard for my heart. I have a deep love for animals & for exercise but a limited amount of house 😂 so I thought helping others take care of their animals would scratch my itch. And I'm trying to find ways to pay down the debt quickly younger me created when I was "finding myself"🙄 so this seemed like a fun way to do it. Choose me if you want someone who will ~Love your pet as hard as you ~Provide a little training while they're with me. Even on small things like how to walk better on a leash. ~Give you updates like pics and videos so you can see what they're up to and be at ease. ~Upon request make them some homemade treats which my 2 doggos love dearly. I am currently a full time stay at home mom and small business owner so my schedule is very flexible. I need a short notice I just fit into whatever your routine is and add in extra belly rubs and toys to make it a chill experience for your pets.

About: I am a third year veterinary student in KC for the summer at an internship! I have worked as a Veterinary Assistant for 6 years now and have gained experience in handling and working with all breeds and sizes of dogs, as well as cats. I have also been petsitting for family friends for 5 years and have plenty of experience making pets feels comfortable while their owner is away. I am comfortable handling any dog or cat, with anything from giving medications to your senior pup to walks and exercise for the more energetic ones! I’m currently working full-time during the week with some evening hours available. I am also typically available all day during the weekend and on most holidays. As I am currently renting, I am not able to care for pets in my own home. However, I am more than willing to travel and take care of your fur-baby in the comfort of their own home! I have been trained on how to handle all types of animals with care and respect towards them, and would feel comfortable assisting with any training you are working with them on. About: My family has always had pets, and I now have two cats and three dogs. That's quite a pack! I have five years of experience petsitting animals with diverse needs. I have cared for dogs of all ages, including puppies to seniors. I am experienced administering medications, including pain management, anxiety meds, and insulin. I am familiar with a variety of dietary needs, and will have no problem giving your pup their meals. I particularly have experience with senior care, especially animals with mobility needs, dementia, or anxiety. I would love to take your dog on their favorite walking route, give them some extra attention while you're at work, or keep them company while you go on an adventure of your own! I currently work a full-time job with a flexible schedule. I am available throughout the week, and have additional availability Sundays and Mondays to offer an extra walk or drop in! I have three dogs of each age category, and two indoor cats. The youngest dog gets lots of time to play and work on training, and spends most of his downtime snuggling with our little old lady. Our middle dog loves a balance of pets and quiet time. They both enjoy quiet walks, while my senior prefers to take it easy! The kitties enjoy touseling, trying new treats, and watching the birds.

About: I have care experience with dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, and fish. I have taught my birds to talk and whistle, mice to jump through hoops, and I have trained my dog in basic tricks. I genuinely care for and loveeeee animals and will give your pet(s) my undivided attention when caring for them!!! I am a full time college student so I won’t be available 24/7, but I will make sure to set aside time for your pet! I don’t offer services in my own home at this moment, but when caring for pets in my clients home I make sure to respect and clean up my surroundings and their animals space.
