About: For walks: I'm very experienced at dog waking. I can handle big and small dogs. I can move at any pace on walks including running. I like to let the dog set the pace. I will typically ask owners what commands they use with their dogs so I can help keep them trained and have them heel on walks. I always avoid other dogs just in case. And on hot days I plan my walks in advance and leave water out for the dog on the route before I start the walk. For drop ins and sitting: I will comfort your dog while you are away as well as feeding them, waking them, and playing with them. I can also give medications orally, but I can't inject any medications. I'm currently a student and since all my classes are online, I will have plenty of time for your pets. I'm free every day, but Thursday and I'm not free Saturday after 6pm I will comfort your dog while you are away as well as feeding them, waking them, and playing with them. I can also give medications orally, but I can't inject any medications. I'm great about making sure the house is completely locked up and the key put back in it's place when I'm done.

Olivia was so awesome with my babies! I have a Great Dane who has not had anybody take care of him other than my mom. He is a very special boy and on meds. I feel he would be on the doggie spectrum if there was one. But with Olivia’s great background, she knew how to handle the situation without pushing boundaries. She only reached out when necessary, due to my dog’s speciality, and all was great. He warmed up to her in due time. Olivia is already a part of the family in my eyes 🥰. I will definitely be using her again in the near future. I highly recommend her, especially if you have special need animals. She was great in taking care of my chameleon as well and didn’t even bat an eye or flinch over my eight tarantulas. She even washed my dish’s, which I told here she didn’t have to worry about. ☺️

About: I have taken care of dogs and cats for years! Family and friends have trusted me with taking care of their pets and I love to be around pets! I have taken care of pets since I was little. I am currently a full time Doctor of Physical Therapy student in CA. I am completing a full time clinical rotation (9-5:30) every weekday, but would be able to do walks/potty breaks before and after. On weekends I would be available all day. I am only able to take care of pets in the clients home as I live in an apartment with no yard that does not allow pets.

About: Hello, I was raised with every pet from dogs to snakes. While I am new using Rover, I have done pet sitting all throughout my adult life. I love all animals and hope to spend time with yours! I have taken care of cats my whole life but have spent the past few years in school for law and showing dogs professionally. This comes with experience in whelping litters, emergency and primary vet care, transport, nutrition, conditioning/exercise, training, cleaning and general care for dogs. I also have fostered for many years in both California and Arizona which comes with experience in temperament evaluation and training, medications, quarantining pets when necessary and working with very young and very old animals. While I have a lot of experience in taking care of pets, I respect that everyone has a right to do it differently, and keep an open mind in how to care for pets. I always follow directions from the owner even if they conflict with how I take care of my own pets as long as it is not directly harming the pet. *ADDITIONAL NOTE ON DOG WALKING* For any dog 45 lbs or heavier I require a slip collar and leash that does not have a bungee feature on it. This is for the controllability of the dog which ultimately leads to the safety of both myself and the dog. I have extensive experience using slip collars and know how to properly put them on and use them as to not choke or otherwise harm the dog. I understand people may be hesitant to use these on their pet, however if used correctly, it does not hurt the dog and makes them easier to control. For the leash, I again am aware that some people consider bungee leashes to be safe, however the bungee effect itself can trick the shoulders muscles into relaxing and when the dog reaches the end of the leash, can pop the shoulder out of the socket. Additionally, the bungee effect can make it harder to quickly reel in a dog in the event of an unfriendly dog approaching, a piece of glass or otherwise harmful material on the ground that the dog could step on, etc. While I am not usually willing to negotiate these conditions for my own and the dog's safety, I am open to hearing explanations for individual and unique scenarios. I also understand that some people may be hesitant to use a slip collar, so I am absolutely willing to explain how they work safely, trial it on your dog and then trial an alternative method if need be. I hope you understand that safety will always come first, and for me, this is one of the precautions that I take learning from my own experience and other professional dog handlers. I am currently on a break between working in family law and moving to France in the summer of 2026 to study for an aerospace degree. I always prioritize the pet's happiness and wellbeing. While I love interacting with pets, I am also totally understanding if there is a pet that wants space. I am aware from prior pet sitting experience that sometimes a pet can behave differently when their owners are not home, so I try to take every precaution when it comes to their safety. I am aware of the foods and plants that are harmful as well as what a pet can safely play with. I also know how to properly clean and sanitize messes that a pet can make such as urine, feces and vomit. I have worked with raw pet food so am well versed in how to minimize contamination risks. I also have strict sanitation procedures from my dog showing days that I always follow between handling different pets. I always carry with me a basic vet care bag and am able to treat light burns, small cuts and flush out eyes if need be. In the case however that any medical assistance may be necessary, I always check with the owner beforehand with what they want me to do.

Emilie is a great dog/house sitter! She got back to us right away about setting up a meet & greet, as well as letting us know how our dog Bella was doing when we were away. Bella was very at ease when we got back from our trip, we could tell Emilie had given her a lot of attention and exercise when we were gone. Emilie followed all of our instructions about Bella and our house. She left our place clean and neat. We will definitely be requesting Emilie again for future dog sitting!

About: I have loved cats and dogs forever and have had cats for 25 years. I have taken care of friends’ dogs and cats since I was a teenager. I am kind, and will treat your beloved pet like my own. My cat passed away last year and I am not yet ready for a permanent addition to my home. I am working full-time, however I have hybrid schedule. In the summer I work one day in the office and the rest from home. During the rest of the year I work three days a week in the office and two days from home, however, I can make flexible arrangements as well, I live in an apartment on a quiet street and about a 10 minute walk to the beach. I have a litter box, toys and scratching post for cats. I have food bowls, soft blankets as well.

About: I’ve taken care of my neighbors’ dogs for years, helping with walks, feeding, playtime, and basic care. I also have a Yorkie of my own, so I truly understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet. I’ve dog sat for friends with both big and small dogs, as well as cats, and I always make sure each pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved. What sets me apart is my patience, reliability, and my genuine enjoyment of spending time with animals, especially on long walks where dogs get to explore, exercise, and have fun. I currently attend community college four mornings a week, which means I’m free most of the day for pet care. This gives me plenty of time for walks, drop-in visits, playtime, and extended care. I’m flexible, reliable, and happy to work around your pet’s routine to make sure they get the attention they deserve. When caring for pets in my home or a client’s home, I always focus on making them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I follow each pet’s routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and rest. I make sure dogs get plenty of exercise through walks and outdoor time, and I give lots of attention, affection, and positive reinforcement. For cats, I provide calm care, feeding, litter maintenance, and gentle interaction at their comfort level. I also keep owners updated with messages and photos so they always know how their pet is doing.

About: I have been caring for my 13 year old dog, Molly, for 11 years. I am also an active volunteer at the county animal shelter, working with dogs (1,000+ hours) and cats (400+ hours). I have a special place in my heart for dogs with behavioral and medical needs, and working with them at the shelter has taught me patience and skills that help to make the animals more comfortable. I also have training in puppy care, senior dog care, walking leash-sensitive dogs, and caring for injured animals. The time I get to spend with dogs is the most fun I have doing anything, and I take a lot of pride in caring for them with the appropriate level of attention and patience they need. I work remotely and have a flexible schedule, so I am available to walk and care dogs at a variety of hours. The length of walks is up to you and your dog-- I am happy to do short walks or longer outings depending on what you need! I am happy to refer you to references (animal shelter staff and volunteers) who can attest to my dog-handling skills and my ability to work with dogs from a variety of backgrounds. The safety of your pet and your home always come first, and I am very comfortable taking any steps needed to ensure that everything goes smoothly.

About: ❀ I love animals!!! What else can I say. Although I've never had my own pet due to bouncing around cities, I've had the privilege of living with furry friends brought in by roommates. The mama in me couldn't help but start co-parenting without my roommates asking for help. In the end, my aid was always appreciated, and I've formed memorable relationships with all these babies. I miss them everyday ❀ ────୨ৎ──── Services provided ❤︎ Walks : 30-60 mins depending on their needs ❤︎ Pet & House Sitting : Your space will be respected & regimens will be followed. ❤︎ Drop Ins : Cuddles, potty breaks, grooming, play time, refill water & food. ────୨ৎ──── Please feel free to message me and ask any questions :) Thanks for checking my profile! As of now, my days are quite free. My only obligations are attending my three classes which take place on M&W 6:30-9pm & Th 9:30-11:30am. I spend a lot of time indoors completing homework and studying as I go through my career transition which is why I thought Rover would be a perfect job for me right now. I have no family and pets of my own either hence having no familial responsibilities to attend to. My time is your furry friend's time when I'm on Rover mama duty. I currently can not board pets nor give doggy day care because my parents are allergic to animals. I can give you any other service though, and I highly prefer house-sitting. As mentioned in my schedule, I can not bring animals into my home. However, I would be happy to house-sit, drop in, and walk your furry friends. If you trust me to house-sit, there will be no mess for you to clean up after. I'm a clean, hygienic gal and am proud to say that I organize my room almost every day. I promise to care for your space as much as I will care for your furry friend. Before you entrust me to house-sit, it would be great for you to leave me some sort of protocol for you pet's routine that I can abide by. This would take off any stress your pet will feel from you leaving for a certain amount of time. I will always ask questions ahead of time, so that I can be your temporary replacement. If there are special needs for your furry friend, I am always willing to accommodate and if I can not, then I will voice that concern of mine. You can always expect good communication from me, and I appreciate the same in return!

I can’t say enough good things about Naomi and am so grateful to her. I needed someone to stay with my dog the two days after she had bladder surgery. I thought it would entail just keeping an eye on her but my dog’s recovery ended up included relieving herself every few minutes and Naomi took great care of her with no complaints, was super attentive to her needs, and kept me updated. Plus I could tell my dog was comfortable with her, which was important when she was feeling so poorly. Thank you Naomi!

Jonathan was awesome! He took great care of our dogs while we had a fun weekend in Tahoe. He took incredible pictures and updated us frequently. The dogs were instantly comfortable with him and snuggled right in. They went for plenty of walks and the dogs were happy and tired when we returned home. Jonathan was really great about asking questions and following special instructions for our dog Otis, as he is recovering from TPLO surgery. The house was also quite clean and orderly upon our return. I will definitely be asking Jonathan to come hang out with our dogs again!

About: Animals have always been a constant source of comfort and joy in my life. From the time I was born, I’ve been surrounded by pets—starting with cats, then adding a cheerful bird to the mix, and later sharing my home with multiple dogs and even a reptile. I've also had experience watching over friends and family members pets while they are away. Each experience has deepened my understanding of different animal personalities and how to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. Caring for pets comes naturally to me. I’m attentive to their routines, responsive to their needs, and committed to providing a calm, nurturing environment while their owners are away. Whether it’s daily walks, playtime, or quiet companionship, I treat every pet as if they were my own and take pride in ensuring they feel secure and cared for. Beyond pets, I’m very much a homebody at heart and truly value a comfortable, cared-for space. I’m naturally clean, considerate, and compassionate toward any home I stay in. With a career in graphic design, I work fully remote, which means I have the flexibility to give plenty of time, attention, and care to your pets and home. Friends and family describe me as dependable, detail-oriented, caring, and easy to communicate with. Whether it’s daily walks, playtime, keeping up with routines, and administering medications, I make sure pets feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away. I do not offer house sitting in my own home. When house sitting for others, I take detailed notes on expectations, requirements and rules to ensure that your fur baby and your home are being cared for at the fullest capacity. Daily check-ins are provided, and i'm more than willing to do anything additional to ensure that you feel at peace while you are away.
