About: I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life, so being around them has always come naturally to me. I have a puppy of my own right now and a big cane corso. I’ve cared for both puppies and senior dogs and understand that they all have different needs. I also volunteered at the SPCA for about two years, where I got experience working with lots of different dogs. I genuinely love being around animals and will make sure your pet feels comfortable, safe, and well cared for. Pet care fits really easily into my weekly routine. I have a part-time job with a very flexible schedule, and I take my college courses online, so I’m able to plan my days around pet care without any issues. This gives me plenty of time to do walks, drop-ins, or overnight care and make sure each pet gets attention and consistency. I’m able to adjust my schedule when needed, which helps me be reliable and available for both regular and last minute requests. When I’m in a client’s home, I keep things simple and stick to your pet’s normal routine, give them lots of love, and make sure they feel comfortable and safe in their own space. “Abby saved Arty’s life while she was sitting. He became very seriously ill the second day I was gone. I was on a boat in glacier bay Alaska and could not be reached for 2 days. I had not left a letter authorizing payment to his vets (my bad) and when she called, they refused. So she had the good sense to show up at their door with him in their arms after calling everyone who I listed as support and trying on her own to revive him. (He is diabetic). He had been in ICU for 2 days by the time I got all her messages. The waters parted and I was able to get home the same day. In the meantime, she visited him in ICU and gave him love and encouragement. It turned out that he had a ruptured gall bladder and they removed it along with cleaning out all the granular black debris from his abdominal cavity. He has almost recovered completely now, only one week later. I know he would not be alive if it wasn’t for Abby. Grateful is an understatement! Abby is all that a pet owner could want to look after their beloved fur baby.”

About: Dogs have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember, and caring for them is something I truly enjoy. I have owned and cared for two dogs, including one who lived to the remarkable age of 22. My current dog is 15 years old and still acts like a puppy, giving me valuable experience caring for both senior dogs and energetic companions. In addition to caring for my own dogs, I have been dog sitting for friends and neighbors since I was around 13 or 14 years old. Over the years, I have gained experience with dogs of different ages, sizes, and personalities, helping with feeding, walks, playtime, companionship, and maintaining their regular routines while their owners are away. I understand that every dog is unique and deserves patient, attentive care. Whether your dog loves outdoor adventures, playtime, or simply relaxing with a companion, I will make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for. My goal is to provide dependable care and give pet owners peace of mind knowing their dogs are in good hands. I am currently a part time surf instructor. My schedule varies week to week depending on how many lessons are booked. That means I will have lots of time to hang out and take care of your dogs! I live in a nice neighborhood with a spacious backyard that is fenced in with a mix of astroturf and small rocks. I also have a shed in the back where the dogs can hang out when it is either raining or when it is super hot outside. It is a perfect hangout spot for your dogs to enjoy!

About: I have taken care and have 2 dogs/ 1 cat of my own that I actively care for. Also I have taken care of my family friends farm with all kinds of animals for days on end including walking, feeding, letting them out and in, etc. I also just love animals and love taking care of them! I work part time but normally only 4 hour shifts so i’m very flexible and can visit your animals multiple times throughout the day as well as working. I also only work around 3 days a week so i’m very available for the most part! In my home my dad has a service dog who is very well trained and also has a crate your pup could go in. We also have 2 older dogs with a fenced in outdoor area for them and a doggy door that gives them free access if going inside and out.

“Jonathan was awesome! He took great care of our dogs while we had a fun weekend in Tahoe. He took incredible pictures and updated us frequently. The dogs were instantly comfortable with him and snuggled right in. They went for plenty of walks and the dogs were happy and tired when we returned home. Jonathan was really great about asking questions and following special instructions for our dog Otis, as he is recovering from TPLO surgery. The house was also quite clean and orderly upon our return. I will definitely be asking Jonathan to come hang out with our dogs again!”
