About: As a lifelong dog lover, I’ve been caring for dogs since childhood, growing up with Labrador Retrievers and learning firsthand the importance of patience, consistency, and affection. Over the years, I’ve helped whelp litters, fostered rescue dogs (including one who became a beloved member of our family), and cared for dogs of all ages and temperaments. My home is peaceful and dog-friendly, shared with my sweet mixed-breed dog, Prema, and features a large, securely fenced yard for safe play and exploration. The home has a doggie door, so your dog is free to roam in the house and outside. The doggie door is locked at night. Ideally, you would supply you dog’s favorite bed (although we have extras) a collar and leash, and preferred food with instructions on feeding timing, amount, etc. I want your pet to feel happy, safe, and have fun while here. 🦮

I’ve also owned cats with diabetes that required insulin daily, neurotic quirky animals we’ve had to adapt to, chickens, goats, sheep, bearded dragons and other reptiles. We are an active family. Hilo and Koa go most places with us. However, there are times he must stay home in his covered kennel, fenced yard or inside depending on weather. Dipanjana was very proactive and thoughtful in preparing us for our first day care visit, letting Maui get familiarized with her dog and home, ahead of our daycare appointment, which I appreciated immensely since my dog has separation anxiety. She is relaxed and easy with communication and with Maui to make him feel at home like letting him sniff around, play with toys, or sit on her lap. She was also very on top of it with any instructions I had for his stay. Her home and neighborhood are also very clean and comfortable. About: For walks: I'm very experienced at dog waking. I can handle big and small dogs. I can move at any pace on walks including running. I like to let the dog set the pace. I will typically ask owners what commands they use with their dogs so I can help keep them trained and have them heel on walks. I always avoid other dogs just in case. And on hot days I plan my walks in advance and leave water out for the dog on the route before I start the walk. For drop ins and sitting: I will comfort your dog while you are away as well as feeding them, walking them, and playing with them. I can also give medications orally, but I can't inject any medications. I'm currently a student and since all my classes are online, I will have plenty of time for your pets. I’m available early mornings, during my lunch break on most weekdays, evenings after work, and all day Friday and Sunday. During overnight stays, I provide care before work, stop by during my lunch break when needed, return after work for dinner, walks, and quality time, then stay overnight with your pet. I always strive to maintain their normal routine. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I take the time to learn each pet’s routine, personality, and any special instructions before the booking. I always keep dogs leashed when out, unless you’ve specifically approved otherwise, and they’re in a secure area. I make sure gates and doors are secured, fresh water is always available, and I closely monitor pets during walks, playtime, and outdoor breaks. I treat every client’s home with respect, keep it clean, and make sure it’s in the same condition.

About: Hi there! I’m Lily, a Criminal Justice major at Cabrillo College in Aptos. I’ve been taking care of friends and family’s dogs for around three years now and can’t wait to meet yours! I love going on walks or hikes with dogs as well as playing games such as tug of war or fetch. I hope to meet you and your loved pups soon!
